After many weeks believing that I have mites in my cultivation, I start to believe that my real problem is my soil. Apparently my soil still has decomposing material and it has affected the leaves. Waiting the flowering goes and how will plant react of it. I hope it not serious thing. My leaves problem look like excess of nutrient in soil formulation. On this week I turn lights on. Now there will be 360W full power to flowering stage.

1/14: All 3 are looking great! This morning, I did a foliar application of big bloom and fulvic acid, then about 5 hours later I watered them with about a half-gallon of rainwater each and added armor si, humic acid, endoboost myco/tricho, liquid molasses, and a bunch of cal-mag. Today, I also I wired up and mounted my new samsung sun board strips (660nm/730nm) and my Solacure FlowerPower UVB fixture. I'm running the deep red/far red bud boosters a few hours per day right now, but will run them for the entire photoperiod once I start flowering them. I'll run the UVB for 4 * 15-minute sessions a day for the full flowering cycle, and if they don't protest too much I'll increase each session by 5 minutes and evaluate again. Some strains are more forgiving than others and I've got 5 different strains in this space...so really not sure much time I'll get away with exposing them to the deadly rays without damaging them too much...😈 1/15: I received one of the rapid led/growmau far red initiator pucks today. With the placement of my UVB light, I'm realizing I'll need another far red puck to have even and intense far red coverage, so I'm ordering another with Prime delivery and waiting to start flowering until I receive it. I sprayed them down really well with ph adjusted rainwater tonight to rinse off nutrient build-up from foliar applications. 1/16: I'm really excited to try flowering under 14/10. I grew photos indoors on an off for 15 years before I semi-retired. If I added up all the additional flowering time I could have done through the years if LED technology existed, I'd have had an extra truckload of bud to smoke. I did another application of Axiom Harpin a|b Proteins this evening, right before dark. I'm expecting a big growth burst this week, leading up to the flower stretch. I really need them to trigger under 14/10 within 4 or 5 days🙏 ...if not, I'll switch to 13/11 and wait a few more days🙏😟..if still no pistils are poppin, I'll go to 12/12 and chalk it up as bad luck or varietal indifference to Pr and Pfr manipulation. 1/17: I fed each of them about 3/4 gallon of full strength veg nutes. This will be the last. I'll go with half-strength veg and half-strength bloom for a week, then go with full strength bloom nutrients until I start flushing them in 6-8 weeks. 1/18: I installed the second far-red flowering initiator today and got all my timers configured for flowering: ========================================= timer#1 - power strip with qb's and red boosters 10:00am -12:00am timer#2 - (dual/independent setting) sideA- 3-way cube with uva bars 10am - 3pm 7pm - 11pm sideB- flowerpower uvb 1pm - 1:15pm 4pm - 4:15pm 7pm - 7:15pm 11pm - 11:15pm timer#3 - far red pucks 11:00pm - 12:15am timer#4 - sub-canopy tube 10am - 1pm 3pm - 6pm 8pm - 11pm ======================================== I also did some testing on the timers and sealed myself into the closet to check for any light leaks. All good.👌 1/19: Tonight is their first long night. It's ON!👍 1/20: I watered them today with about a half gallon each. I'm seeing calcium and magnesium deficiencies here and there, so added some boomerang and heavy cal-mag-Fe along with liquid molasses, humic acid, and endoboost myco. I also foliar fed with big bloom and fulvic acid. That's it for week 4-

🌱 General Development White Russian had a more eventful week. She reacted to light intensity and showed first signs of top bleaching, so I raised the lamp slightly, which immediately helped. Buds are chunkier than Bubblegum and stacking more aggressively, with a classic frosty look. 🌿 What I Did This Week • Raised the light to prevent bleaching and heat stress on top colas. • Enzyme tea (light) to boost microbial activity and help the plant handle the mid-flower nutrient demand. • Adjusted irrigation to 5–6 L, keeping the soil evenly moist. • Checked worms under the avocado → great activity, soil thriving. ⚠️ Issues Noticed • Some upper sugar leaves slightly yellowing → normal light stress + high metabolism in mid-flower. • A few lower leaves yellow → absolutely normal for Week 5–6 flower in living soil. Nothing alarming, the plant is stable and responding well. 📈 This Week’s Progress • Buds thickened significantly. • Aroma stronger; more citrus/spice notes coming through. • Resin production clearly increasing. • Structure tightened after the light adjustment. ✨ Closing Note White Russian is definitely the more vigorous one this cycle. After raising the light she bounced back instantly. Buds are swelling, resin is coming, and the canopy looks incredibly uniform. Day 22 (2020-05-31): Did some additional LST and defoliation. For LST I used wire hooks pushed into the soil to encourage sideways growth of the new branches. The G14 looks a lot bushier but it did not have as many large leaves that needs to be removed. Also, due to it's mutant nature, it started with two main branches. Maybe I should have pinched one back, but it seems very healthy so far. Roots are poking out the bottom of both pots. Not sure if this is bad or not. It did not happen in my previous grow but was using 3 gal instead of 2 gal fabric pots. Day 23 (2020-06-01): Investigated the mesh cup filter I am using with the Blumats. Turns out I had it backwards and it had some slimy feeling film inside. Not sure if that is contributing to the PH rise when water sits in the tubing, but I cleaned it out and swapped it the right way. Made some small LST adjustments. Day 24 (2020-06-02): Removed a couple of blocking leaves, made some slight LST tweaks to even things out. One of the Blumats seemed like it was not dripping but bleeding the line caused it to kick in. Must have still had some residual air in the system from yesterday's filter adjustment. PH is still a bit higher coming out of the line, but is much improved. Will continue to monitor. If it stays high may try removing the filter altogether to eliminate that possibility. Day 25 (2020-06-03): Changed the reservoir out. PH was high, but still in range but the water was cloudy and had a pretty rotten smell. Going to check PH and smell daily and see if I can get a handle on what is happening. Maybe I just need to have a regular changing schedule. Day 26 (2020-06-04): PH of reservoir at 5.6. Day 27 (2020-06-05): PH of reservoir at 5.7. DId some LST adjustments and removed a few larger leaves. Noticed some light discoloration spots on a couple of the older leaves. Moved lights a bit closer (21") Day 28 (2020-06-06): Noticed some yellowing on the tips of some of the new growth. I checked the lights and they had been way closer than I thought. Moved to correct distance to see if it may have been early signs of light burn. PH of reservoir is at 6.2. Most likely will change out tomorrow. I also noticed today a bit of white fuzz mold growing on the outside of the pots and even a little bit on the surface of the coco. I am going to turn off the humidifier for a few days and get some 3% H2O2 to wipe down the outside of the pots.

What's up Grow Diaries family, super excited to have another grow in addition to the Gelatos. This time is a little different since it will be a new experience for me. First time growing an auto flower strain, first time using Bio Tabs, and first time using the quantum board for the full cycle. I usually use the QB304 for vegging, but since I got a 2'x2' tent. It'll be dedicated for that space. I finally got a hold of some FastBuds seeds but I've been losing sleep contemplating on which strain to grow. I have some LSD-25 and Blackberry, which are fantastic strains (based on what i've seen). It came down to a coin toss and LSD-25 was chosen. Come and join me in this new journey. I've read up on how to grow autos and all that but I know there are plenty of seasoned veterans out there that could share some knowledge. Week 1 - Prepped Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil by mixings BioTabs Startrex and Mycotrex. I know there's been a lot of debate about using 3 gal vs 5 gal for autos but I'm using a 5 gal. fabric pot since that's what I have and probably would still buy a 5 gal instead of a 3. But who am I, I'm another first time auto grower. Hahaha! Let me know your thoughts on this. Light cycle is set to 20 hours instead of the usual 12/12, 18/6, 24. I was debating on running the lights 24/7 but wanted to have period when the plant rest. Not too sure if autos need it but my electric bill could use a break. Soaked the seed overnight and sown into soil approximately 1/2 in. Placed a humidity dome (solo cups 😉) over the site to keep humidity up. Humidity in the room is around 45% which is pretty low for germination. Temperature at 78°F which is good. Within the next day or so, we should have this sprouting out of the soil. Once that happens, an update will soon to follow. UPDATE: 11/9/2018 Day 1 LSD-25 finally sprouted 😃. Relative humidity has been low at 35ish%, keeping a humidity dome/spraying Ph'd water to keep her happy until she gets a little bit bigger. If the humidity levels stay this low, I'll be putting in the humidifier until conditions get better. Enjoy the new pictures and stay tuned for the next update! Day 3 - RH has been going down to the teens so I added the humidifier for now. Conditions are a lot better and is now in the 70's. Increased the blower speed to kinda balance out the incoming dry air. Day 4 - Dialed in the incoming air by adjusting the blower and vent. Humidifier doing it's thing getting RH at 72%. Saturated the soil with regular tap water + Bactrex + Orgatrex + Cal-Mag. We'll see how this goes since no PH or EC readings required with BioTabs. I do plan on using Real Growers Recharge once she gets out of the seedling stage. Once she starts flowering, Mammoth P will be used 😉 Day 5 - Leaves are pointing up, this could be a bad thing right? I think it's due to the low humidity and possibly light burn. Humidifier was setup yesterday so maybe she just needs to get reacclimatized to her new environment. I also increased the light distance a couple of inched just in case. Day 6 - Seems like the leaves are starting to level out and color is starting to look better 😀 Day 7 - End of week 1! Nothing to report other than new pictures are up. See you on the next update.

I will update the dry weight once she is finished drying, I assure y'all. I'm so glad that I have one or two more of these beans laying around and I can't wait to run this again. She became this monstrous autoflower that never seemed to stop. I supercropped her midway through flower due to her getting close to the light. She took that and just kept going. Even formed a nice knuckle where it happened, but she righted herself back up like a champ. I still can't believe that she weighed in at almost 300 grams. I know that's wet, but I've grown quite a few autos and have never done what I just did with one. I've only heard about that from autos haha. Shout out to fast buds for killing it with their genetics.

I thought the ladies would have another 2-3 weeks left in veg, but started to notice pistils forming within the last couple of days. So flower will most likely start to begin within the next week, I’m guessing I may see a couple oz per plant come harvest day. Not bad for first time grow & using autos, from what I’ve heard a lot of people do not recommend learning with autos due to how quickly their state can change depending on what you do with them. There are some things I wish now I would have done a bit different within the last couple of weeks, I can’t help but wonder how much bigger they’d be if I did not do any defoliation at all. But I have been combating flies bad and made the call to defoliate mainly for that reason. Started to cut back on veg foods and introduce flower foods and sugars to their diet. Humidity levels still at a steady decrease, aiming to have humidity down in the 30s come flower time. Will be going on vacation for a week soon, so fingers crossed that nothing goes wrong. Will be having a good friend of mine come by every couple of days to FaceTime me and make sure everything is handled as well as possible when the time comes.

To me the ladies always look so small but they grow at an impressive pace. I’m in love with those nutrients, is my first full organic grow and Guanokalong is impressive, I never seen a similar root development, I transplant the plant from a 0,5L pot to a 1,5l and in 3 day I moved them again to the final 20L Plastic pot because already clogged. Enjoy fellow growers , I wish abundant harvest ☮️♥️

These girls are looking amazing the sparkly glitter everywhere, they are nearly on week 5 flowering, the smell they are putting out is grape gas OG Kush with some orange peel diesel funk. ⛽️

Finally my All in one mix arrived and im back to my normal feedings, by this i mean other labels bring up to much the EC in the water, making it harder to had whatever you want to had more 😅😆 Day 5 flower and you can se they wore desperate to flower, they are running and stretching like there’s no tomorrow 😅 lets see how will this afect in terms of space and canopy, so far so good but we are at day 5 and the6 are monsters comparing to the other side of the tent 😆 Day 7 and I’m already looking at them and thinking they need a air cut 😅 this girls are growing and drinking kind a fast 😆 with is a great signal. Wow, isn't this 1 dollar seed performing :P The force is strong in this one. If I had to complain, the buds have a lot of leaves, but hey, were not... What a joy to grow this strain, she is easy to grow and creates big buds, I hope she tastes like a Kush and we will be happy campers with this one. The lights were a bit too close to her, she really didn't enjoy that light and heat, so we raised them, and after that growth went exponential in the buds again. And this for two or three more weeks, depending on the trichomes which I like for a large part amber so add another week for this. I'm guessing 1st week of January that she can be harvested, we shall see! Day 80 ~ Plants are looking and smelling great. I have been keeping an eye on the trichomes for the first plant and she looks like she will be ready right after the harvest moon! So I am excited to harvest her on Friday. While plant 2 is still another week and a half to 2 weeks away!
