Pink Kush Day 21 - 2020.01.21: Hello friends, I'm sorry for being delinquent in commenting on this grow; I got hit by a car last autumn and I'm still struggling a bit with depression and anxiety (hence the weed!). Let me assure you that the Shishkaberry from last year was very helpful 😌 So to begin with I have to thank Barney's Farm for their great genetics. This week I started the regular fertigation schedule for the vegetative period. I'm getting very precise with the measuring of the nutrients, I'm using some industrial syringes for accuracy like Dr. Coco recommends. The TDS is high - I'm working on it. Next week I think they'll be ready to top to begin the HST. Alright gang, I'll close for now, with love. 😊

25/8 Start of week 4 from seed I believe, plant 1, being fed 'Easy Boost Organic Combo' has the dry mix stuff in the Coco, added the 'part 2' tablet ended up mixing with 4L of water, says it lasts a week mixed up so I gave her about 0.5L today as she was really dried out. Plant 2, being fed 'Canna' colour seems to be getting better, I'm going to continue giving her canna CalMag & Rhizotonic' until she looks like she wants a bit more. All going well though, both plants are still alive after their topping! 🤞🌱💚 Man I need a bong now 🔥💚 26/8 both plants recovering well after being topped. Not been watered or fed since yesterday, will wait until they are drier. Plant 1 is going to be a lot more short and bushy by the looks of it (which is what I need in grow space). 27/8 plant 1 recovered a little faster, shed almost picture perfect, happy 1 plant 1 though. No feed or water again today 28/8 think I seriously overwatered plant 1 😂🙈 live and learn. Going to let her rest for a couple more days. plant 2 doing really well, unwilling start LST soon and possibly top a couple of sites early next week 29/8 plant 2 is taking off again, I've started LST on both of them. #1 is not as developed, I removed a few leaves off her today as they were preventing proper airflow. Plant 2 has been fed for the first time in a while, plant 1 has had a tiny bit of water 30/8 had every intention of transplanting both girls, however I only had enough coco for 1. Decided to transplant #2 in to 7Gal fabric pots as she is the most developed. Both have roots starting to push through the bottom of the old pots, may have left it a couple of days too long. 31/8 Coco coir never arrived for plant 1 so I'm hoping it come tomorrow. Plant 2 has been topped quite a few times today letting her rest now. Not sure what plant 1 is doing it could me getting root bound? Gave plant 2 some calmag water, nothing for plant 1

We did really well this round with this strain even though she grew very different from what Im used too. We ended up with a half pound of some excellent smelling and tasting cannabis!

Heute war außerdem das letzte Mal Entlauben und Lollipoppen angesagt. Jetzt können die Pflanzen ihre Energie voll und ganz auf die Buds konzentrieren. Es gibt keine neuen Komplikationen, alles verläuft weiterhin planmäßig. Ich bleibe bei meinem aktuellen Schema und beobachte weiterhin genau – ab jetzt liegt der Fokus voll auf der Blütenentwicklung.

Week 4 of flower and it’s been a week for the books. The males gizzed all over the females and we spent the better part of a week harvesting the males for pollen, then defoliating and spraying the pollinated females, then going full sanitize on the entire tent… (that part always sucks). Either way, they’re off to the seed making and generally showing a brilliant, yet subtle pink across most phenos. Gonna be pretty cool seeing how the colours develop on these👌. The fact that the pinks are prevalent amongst all plants is very encouraging. Still early for sure - but… potential for something special👍. Terp. Profiles are becoming quite pronounced now too. So far, we’ve got one that smells of a very sweet sorta pine in female #3 and a definitive baked berrry scent in female #1. The hope was always to balance out the earthiness of the Kush which is classic to the strain in terms of taste, just not overly tasty. Again, still early but we might’ve achieved that here on crossing🤞👌. All told and as long as we keep ‘em alive to the finish - we should have tons of seed and a well defined set of partially drilled down traits. Counting 3 discernible potential phenos so far and can’t wait to see what the clones reveal🤟. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Harvest was done on a lovely summer day. Since summer was approaching, half of the harvest was hung upside down with the classic 60/60 and rest is stored in a wine cooler for drying. There’s also an oscillating fan below for airflow!

The plants are getting very large, the one with the bucket pot has responded very well, the one with the cardboard a little too well and is towering over the others, although the LST is struggling to keep it at bay... While the one with the tissue pot has answered a little badly but he is recovering slowly

Growing good. But I can not stand a strain that foxtails, to me it's just ugly. And these are deffently starting to foxtail. But otherwise it's a gorgeous plant. Hopefully the smoke quality will make up for it. It won't be much longer untill chop day. Thanks for checking out my grow .
