Day 49 - lookin good..... been bending her, trimmin abit, messin with the water solution..... ph and ppm have been all over the place..... lol she's been transitioning from grow to flower, and once she settles into night mode, the solution and growing should stabilize...... the new fan is cool... tents working properly now, neg pressure, drawing in air behind the floor fan, blown around the bottom, and cpu extractor fan pushing the air out the top of the tent, straight into the filter..... really nice way to run a little tent, low airflow........ keeps the impurities out of the buds..... the stalks have all tuffened up since trimmin, and pretty strong now.... should hold the full weight that's about to occur all over the place...... i've simplified the nutrients, they were gettin alittle confusing, so started doin nuets differently, .... so, just making my own nuet solutions, nothing fancy just base amount of normal elements .... should be a pretty good christmas ...... ** A tip if you like trichomes have the patience to scroll down to the micro photos, they are scary. Black Runtz is a crazy beauty, a black isolate phenotype of the very famous Zamnesia Runtz. Day 90 Flower day 35 - Ladies are extremely frosty & buds are starting to stack nicely! Smell is really starting to get strong as well. All 3 plants are very similar in ever aspect too & have had no deficiencies the entire grow so far! I will definitely be growing some more strains from New420Guy! Off to a sloppy start with these good old classic seeds. I kinda forgot I was going away for a few days and the giraffe neck vs the dwarf version are the result. Nevertheless, these aren't autos so I can very likely fix everything by delaying flowering for a bit :) Very curious to see how easy it will be to grow these in such a small space. 😎 They will be placed in 7l All-Mix soil by BioBizz and will get a full range on BioBizz nutrients after a few weeks of Root Juice. I will however be using BioGrow, BioBloom, TopMax and CalMag as my main nutrients. The others will be used occasionally and if the plant uptakes all nutrients without issues (nutrient lock paranoia is always there)

To get higher temperatures I placed the growbox near the radiator, dimmer still at 25%, boiled tap water also this week, this guaranteed me an ideal for the beginning, from now on I will use mountain water which will allow me to use less fertilizer.

The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds.
