Girls looking very healthy and happy. Due to my short trip had to leave my 🍌💜👊 girls unsupervised for 3 days. Was stunned when opened my cabinet on the Dec 5th. Athena stretched like crazy. Good 3 inches. She better slow down as not much roof space left for her. May tie some taller branches to netting if necessary. Introducing blooming nutes for the first time this week on December 6th at smaller dosage and on the second watering as listed. Week 8 Dec 4 - Dec 10 Dec 5 Leaves tucking Dec 6 Heavier selective defoliation on both girls. Athena fully lolipopped and Xena at 75%. Watered with 8 ltr beetwen both with perfect runoofs PH 6.4. Girls were very thirsty 🤤 Dec 7-8 Just enjoying how my girls developing. Frost has landed and they are start showing colours. All is looking great. Dec 9 Second watering for this week 7 ltr beetwen both. Runoffs PH 6.4 Even with so much difrence in size of my 🍌💜👊 girls it seems that they are drinking my juice almost equally. Dec 10 Applied selective defoliation and tied 3 tallest branches of Athena to netting to avoid any potential burns on these beautiful baby colas. It's the end of the week! Couple more weeks of feeding then flush. This girl is stacking hard and buds are forming rock solid.

Yo guys, End of a stressful week lol So cherry cola is looking nice purple and frosty. Smoothe is getting frosty and putting on weight. Orange sherberts are big plants as is the amnesia zkittles so there deffo going to take longer. There's a couple of nute burnt plants but nothing major only tips. Every plant acts diffrent so no Biggie, thats the joy of autos. Added cal mag this week go some colour back in the leafs. I woulnt recommend running 4x diffrent strains at once lol not if you want them all to finish at the same time and don't want to make diffrent feeds up.

Start of week 2. Everything seems to be ok. The bottom left and right seem to have taken the lead. I switched the two biggest plants into the center. And raised the pots off the ground to help with airflow and temps. Plants are doing good. Two centers are taking the lead. Using RO water. Currently watering when top two inches are dry.

Decided to chop one girl early. If I'm honest I was very worried about the yield, because for the fort half of the flowering it didn't look very promissing but holy cow, just the first plant had 70g on it. I accidentally snapped two main colas in early stage so it would be probably more. However 3 girls are still running for at least a week or two so it looks like I will achieve 200g and probably well over which is awesome. Most importanltly, buds are super dense. Finally! I can't wait to finish with proper flush and curing. Humidity is now at constant 60% and can't really do much about it. Weather outside is also a bit humid, but i'm running 3 fans inside with pretty good extractor fan so hopefully no mould issues this time. I feel like the strain also help a lot. I will probably chop one girl in few days or a week and then the last monster looks like it will be ready little bit later than the rest so I will give it some extra time.

Day 80, 2nd of December 2020: Beautiful bushy, great genetics. Well done. Nice buds are on the way and the smell is great. I am absolutely excited :) All good the lamp is now on 11 hours and off 13 hours. Every week 15 minutes was taken off and after 4 weeks here we go. Strated 12/12 and now 13/11 wanted try to imitate the nature as the light days are getting shorter. Fertilization has changed no more epsom salt from this week and I will stop giving nitrogen as well from next week. All good :)

Thank you to everyone for following this journey! The results were nuts. Honestly, I would've been happy with 40g dry as this is my first grow. I DEFINITELY did not expect this outcome which is insane. This gives me so much confidence in my future grows and appreciation for the companies whose products I used. So, now to the point - Dry weight - Top class buds - 176g, smaller buds - 32g, larf/leaves/scissor hash - 26g. To sum up - 208g of product you can smoke and 26g that'll go to edibles. First grow, 2x2 tent, 100w light, three-part fertilizer and cal mag - that's insane, especially because I was expecting nothing more than 60g and like I mentioned, I would've been happy with 40g. I even thought my scale was broken or something went wrong, I still can't believe I pulled 208g of bud. It took 117 days from seed to smoke - that's disregarding the cure. Seed to flower in 42 days. Flower to harvest in 61 days. 14 days drying. Thank you to FastBuds, I've sent them an email about the grow with some questions and got a speedy reply with some pointers towards the end of the flower. Also, I don't have anything to compare this grow with but I had 0 issues with pests which I was really happy about. I didn't have to spray anything on the plants, didn't have a single bug inside the tent. They mention on the website that NL is a very resilient strain so that might've been because of this specific strain. Spiderfarmer light did amazing too - 208g of bud from 100w light!. General Hydroponics did way better than I expected - there's so many companies with multiple bottles of nutrients that expect you to spend ridiculous amounts of money on their products while I got crazy results with just 3 basic bottles. Cal and Mag by Canna worked with no complaints. Takeaways - seems like the runoff pH doesn't matter in coco - I could be wrong but I struggled with coco pH from the very beginning. Regardless, the outcome speaks for itself. Maybe the harvest would've been even better with an optimal pH but in this particular grow, I don't think it mattered much. Before starting this grow I've done A LOT of research and it looks like it most definitely paid off! I was panicking at first because of the slow growth. The plant also had some leaf deformities and the color wasn't as green as I've expected it to be. It was stressful at first, I think especially because I was constantly comparing my grow to someone else's. This specific LST method where I kept rotating the main stem clockwise every day or two paid off as well. The canopy was relatively even and new tops grew crazy fast. The only thing left to do is to cure the bud. I had two 1.5L containers ready for cure/storing since I didn't expect to pull much but had to go acquire a few more "big boys" to fit all the product in, which is a good problem to have. I don't think that I'll be updating the cure here but the plan is to burp 2x/day for 15-30min each time for the first week and 1x/day for 15-30min the second week. After the first couple of weeks I won't be timing the burps. As of now, I've placed boveda 62% packs inside the containers to maintain a RH of at least 58% in the jars. About the Northern Lights strain - the smell hasn't fully returned yet post trim, but it smells like sweet fruits with a hint of black pepper. You can still smell a bit of pine/grass but I think that'll be gone after the cure. Buds are covered with trichomes, they shine like diamonds when you take a better look. Also, the buds look a little airy but are still really dense when pressed. The smoke - It's a tasty, relaxing high. I get why people describe it as night time smoke but for me personally, it grounds me a bit and I can enjoy it anytime. Also, it burns white ash :)) P.S. This is a lengthy diary but I hope that people can learn some stuff from my notes shall they read them! Thanks to everyone that followed the journey, showed support or just browsed through. Hey! The plant completely stopped growing at around 72cm. The bush turned out to be medium in size, but in this cycle I could not afford to spend a couple of weeks of veg. The main colas of the bush turned out to be asymmetrical, perhaps due to the fact that I broke one of the branches, or maybe not😏 I will continue to work with what I have. The most interesting, in my opinion, segment of the cycle is coming - the ripening of the crop🌿👆 Glory to Ukraine! 🇺🇦

I'm happy with the progress they have made, all have responded well to defoliation and LST. I'll be adding a few more light nutrients at some point this week. The gorilla zkittles is shorter than the rest but looks very sturdy and has plenty of bud showing already, I think this is because it started flowering maybe 7days before the rest and in them 7days the rest shot up rapidly! I'll update daily and try get some nice videos with lights out.

I joined Grow diaries late in my growing career... I wish I would have found this site sooner.. Enjoy! I personally enjoy growing mephisto genetics. I was very happy with the toof decay grow and end result. I ended up letting this cure for 2 months. It is number 2 in my book so far for my adventure with Mephisto seeds. Walter white is #1. I grew this in colder conditions through the winter of 2019. Super dense buds loaded trichs, very loud smell, and great appeal! I have more of these seeds so I will do a start to finish eventually.
