Bueno pues terminando la semana 8 de floración ya hay 4 plantas que hay cortar, estuvimos mirando los tricomas en el directo y efectivamente, todos lechosos incluso vimos bastantes de color ámbar. Así que, ya estoy regando con agua para lavar raíces y en unos días empezamos a cortar. Tendremos que quitar la malla scrog y sacar las plantas para manicura las y ponerlas a secar. 96 días desde que se empezaron a germinar a día 27/04/23

Sehen sehr schön und gesund aus. Der Strech war echt heftig und jetzt sind die komplett in der Blütenbildung. Fokus in Woche 1-6 der Blüte liegt auf BioMasse, danach wird die Temp und Lichtintensität stetig runter gefahren. 2x UVB Röhren mit rein gehängt, liefern pro Tag bisher 2-3 h ohne sichtliche Veränderung… wird auf jedenfall stetig gesteigert. Hab 2x Entlaubt und ggf wird nochmal einiges entlaubt zwecks Lichtpenetration. Vielleicht kommen noch Sidelights dazu. Hatte auch sehr Probleme die RH im passenden Bereich zu halten da das Beet zu viel Wasser bekommen hat, seit 3 Tagen habe ich nicht mehr gegossen und nur das Wasser verbrauchen lassen.

Still spraying with Monterey BT. Minimal moth larvae damage. Flowers are increasing in size as well as scent. All plants are at different stages of flower within a week or two of progress. I will add more plant support next week as the branches are increasing in weight now. Most plants are taller than me now with many tops. It will be quite the effort to roll out the support poles and accompanying twine.

2-24, Day 59 harvest Plants were all cut down together. Hung to allow tent conversion to drying setup and reloaded into the tent. Some nicer images were taken with the R100 cannon camera, and also a mix of images from my iPhone and my buddy's Note7. Current drying environment: 62F, 62% humidity. 2-26, Day 2 drying The tent is very stable around 60% humidity and 60F. I have the tent set up for negative pressure to pull a slight vacuum, ensuring the air will turnover inside the tent, with one oscillating fan helping to distribute the humidifier mist. I have an external air purifier running with active carbon filters to manage the smell.

Day 59: There is little left to my first harvest in 2019. As buds continue to swell and resin starts to see some orange pistil. I think that in order to complete the cycle of these six Gorillas, there are only a couple of weeks to get to the standard eleven weeks. The smell of the resin is very strong and I have to ventilate the room several times during the day. Given the approach of the first harvest I put some other seeds in the soil. 😄 P.S. I chose one of the predominantly indica plants for the first taste. This plant has received only water for the last five days instead of the usual 10/12 and although I would have to wait another 10/15 days before it is completely dry, this Saturday I will break some buds smaller and I will smoke it 😋 Once the first plant has dried, and the crop is tasted, I will add more data such as flavor and real definitive weight. For the remaining five plants I will follow all my standards without breaking basic rules and I will make a progressive crop. With the smaller buds and sugar leaves I will subject them to decarbosillation and I will make some good butter 😋 while with the small branches covered with trichomes I want to flavor some bottles of vodka, I put aside even the largest leaves and branches and when I have also dried out the waste from the next crops I'll do a bit 'of ice-olator hashish using the bubble bags system...I thank everyone and I apologize for my approximate English and any errors, but as you may have already guessed it is not my language. March 10, Day 69: Final taste and effect ratio for the first plant. The exact weight of dried buds, excluding the wads, sugar leaves and small branches is 58 grams. Even having pushed all the final procedures to the limit, the product is fantastic. No chemical taste despite the short flushing. Yesterday was my birthday and I got to smoke a lot (about 45 grams) in the company of twenty friends, everyone appreciated the taste and power of the effect perhaps amplified by some beer, but still very strong. No one has coughed, the smoke goes down smooth and clean and the effect is practically immediate. The terpenes of limonene and pinene dominate every flavor. The aftertaste is fresh and sweet and smoking a lot at the end the limonene prevails. For a final consideration on the edible taste I will have to wait to have made some butter to make biscuits or brownies. As I wrote the effect is very strong, salt immediately and at the beginning seems energizing, but shortly after passing the joint hits you with a baseball bat to the back of the neck 😵 After the fifth joint you are now on a psychedelic journey and you will continue to laugh for hours. At the moment I do not have a THC analyzer (object I want to buy in the future) but based on my personal experience I think it is well over 20%. Stimulates appetite, thirst (excellent if combined with a double malt blond beer) and can be used to effectively fight insomnia. 👊

Nothing special going on, just keeping humidity and temps low. I’ve started adding Overdrive to the feed. Been checking the trichs a lot. Compared to my other plants, they’re getting really big.

Just hit day 10 of flower this net has about 20% touching the 2nd trellis. And about 70% almost touching. The Saskatoon Berry plants are very close node spacing. The bud formations are already prevalent.

Day 69 (March 6th) Just gave everyone their last watering. I’m going to harvest and wash everything tomorrow night on day 70. I‘m not going to do that whole 48 hours of darkness thing because I didn’t see a difference last time I did it. In fact, it made my plant under watered before drying which caused it to dry too fast. Slurricane and cheese will be washed with h2o2 and the rest will just be rinsed off in warm RO water and hung up. Before and after washing I’m going to go over each branch with a flashlight and make sure there is no dog hair or debris in or on the buds. I will be drying in my spare bathroom (that no one uses!) from hangers. Aiming to keep it around 60-62F and 50-60 RH. Hoping for that 10-12 day dry. I wanted to do a full plant hang but the tent got pretty dirty and I would feel more comfortable just cutting and rinsing everything off branch by branch. I’m going to try my best to keep the full plant intact. Got my humidifier hooked up and running RO water because with tap water it deposits calcium and lime all over the buds and walls. For air flow I’m just indirectly running a small usb fan. I’m not worried about air flow in the bathroom honestly. It stays nice and breezy down there anyway. Got the food grade peroxide and RO water to wash up the slurricane and cheese. Everything except for the cheese and garlic#1 is looking more than done. Trichomes all look pretty well done. Some of them have even burst open. Smells are all super ripe and mature too. Can’t wait to smell each individually in jars. Next week I will recap what went wrong and what I will do differently next time to keep it from happening again. (Day 70F) Just got everything chopped, washed and hanging. The vast majority of the PM was washed out but I can still see very small amounts. When they dry out I can shake the branches a bit to get the rest off. At very least it’s sterile now. There is no question I lost some potency while washing but the amount is negligible for a much cleaner product. I could see lots of dirt and other debris float to the surface of the water after being washed. And no those are not trichomes, those sink to the bottom. I could put that nasty water through a bubble bag and wouldn’t get all that much. Although it probably does remove a lot of the actual trichomes heads. I’ll have to check with the microscope. Everything is rigged up for a nice slow dry. Temp is sitting at 64 and RH is at a nice 60%.

On the final stretch. Bug issues seem to be under control. All plants were flushed last week. This lady had 9l of dechlorinated water @6.8 pass through her. Checked pH in the run off and was spot on. All the buds are very dense. The way I have trained her has meant rather the some tall colas I have lots of smaller along the same branch as I kept the canopy wide and flat. I can't believe it's been this long! I started this grow after seeing @silky_smooth doing amazing art. So I decided to main line and train 16 colas.. second grow and probably way too ambitious. I have learned so much from her taking 4 clones and finding my way with my nutes. I hope I have not failed her or the great genetics Barney's Farm have produced. I had a vision of what I wanted her to look like and I feel I got what I set out for. Lessons learned. Slow down on nutes. Less is more sometimes! Plastic pots suck ass... At least 25l ones do. If I ever grow in this pot again I will amend my substrate as the drainage seemed way off with just biobizz light mix. Lights... 100% on the dimmer is not always best..(thanks @Mrs_Larimar) Bugs... They are bastards and I will start to feed nematodes into my final pot each grow from now on. And lots more....
