I thought I just had two of this strain, but it turns out that the 134g plant was actually a C4 hybrid! It isn't as pungent smelling as the others, but seems to have it's own unique flavor going on. I like it! 115g - C4ndycaine [Candy Cane x C4] 134g - C4ndycaine [Candy Cane x C4] 151g - C4ndycaine [Candy Cane x C4]  TOTAL: 400g 👍

I highly recommend LST and topping the plant at least 2 weeks prior to flower. This strain reacts very well to it and getting an even canopy of big frosty buds is great. I must say that in the past 2 weeks the smell has become very steong. Be sure to seal whatever air leak you have in your flower space if you are concerned about smell. I use a 6 inch AC infinity long filter and it handles the 2 plants decently. As soon as you open the door to the flower side a wall of fruity-ish smell hits you. The resin production is amazing. I have never had a plant produce so much.

Went to bend a branch it snapped. I taped it but the top was to heavy and snapped again. I figured cut it off now because it didnt look like it was coming back and I thought I'd just hurt her even if I saved the one.

DAY 49 Ive runned into some problems with different deficiencies but im trying to correct it.. otherwise the buds are becoming bigger and alot more crystals are beginning to come.. i think most of them have atleast 4 weeks before harvest, but maybe i will take some down before that.. Its really crowded, but im hoping to get a week with big buds now, cause they are not that big all of them. Day52 Switched LED lights to a more red spectrum and switched from dualspectrum on the HPS to Superbloom hps instead for the last weeks.. I started flushing two of them so i can give more room to the others Peace out and remember to see the video :D

Sooooo Still flushing this bad bish, tricomes are still devolpoing from what I've seen and the plant look relatively healthy still. Have flushed 3 times with just water and again added 2ml flawless finish with 1 litre and watered waiting a couple days and will flush with water again. Patiently waiting....

Week 3 – Compact but staying small She's definitely healthy, but growth is staying tight and low to the ground. Very compact structure so far, not stretching much yet. Could just be her genetics, or she's focusing on building roots before taking off above ground. No signs of stress though – nice green color, strong leaves, and new growth coming in steadily. Hoping she picks up the pace soon, but sometimes the small ones surprise you later!

Tangie'Matic is coming along strong. Nice bud development over the past week. I'm worried about it getting too hot now in the attic, where my grow tent is. I'll probably be moving most plants outdoors in the next couple of weeks. Hoping for the best! 🙏

Week Harvest My journey of Runtz Automatic and her entrance in the Eternity Grow Cup 2025 began on January 7 when she popped her head above the soil. Runtz was an easy carefree plant to grow with no incidents of pests or disease. A few defoliations were all that was necessary to keep her in check. I kept her under a light schedule of 18/6 to maximize her light exposure. After topping her she grew only 24 inches tall. This small plant structure is suitable for growers with limited space. She was harvested on March 20, day 74 from germination. As part of the flushing process, I topped the pot with ice, then watered with ph 6.5-6.7 water for 3 days. Then I put Runtz Auto in the dark for 2 days still in her pot. March 20, she got the chop, Wet weight 314g and is hanging dry in a darkened room. As she dries, candy, sweet, fruity smells escape the room. Temps are 71-72and 43-48% humidity. I am sure she is as tasty as she smells and will not disappoint in effects. My sincere thanks to Patricia @Zamnesia for her support and encouragement throughout this grow. Big thanks and sincere appreciation to Plagron and Zamnesia for hosting this fun and exciting contest. Everyone entering the contest started with the same strain in either a feminized auto or photoperiod seed. Zamnesia generously provided 5 seeds to everyone and Plagron provided the Green Sensation flowering additive. During this contest I enjoyed visiting many contestants’ diaries and seeing beautiful gardens. Many, like me, are limited in space or number of plants they can grow but all are displaying fine specimens. Some Runtz phenotypes are very sativa dominant, with long thin leaf fingers, while others lean more indica. What will be most interesting will be the smoke reports on effects. My theory is that the more sativa leaning in structure, the more active, energetic and euphoric that plant will be and the indica leaning specimens will be more relaxing and uplifting. Flowers coming along well, with frost now developing. Nutrient strength increased now they're gonna be eating more, with Remo grow reduced slightly now they're slowing their growth, but Bloom and AstroFlower have been increased to favour PK. Day 28 will be the last day feeding Growth Tech Liquid Silicone as it takes the longest to completely flush out of the plant. I never feed silicone later than this in flower otherwise you risk hard, black ash with a horrible burn in the end.. More leaves have been stripped here and there, but not too much. Just enough to allow the light to penetrate deeper and to uncover flower sites. Leaf stripping is also a great technique to stunt the growth of selected branches, allowing the others around to catch up and meet the top of the canopy more evenly. 🦊
