Trichomes: The Frosty Frontier This week, the focus is all about those frosty beauties! • Trichomes are the key indicators of ripeness and cannabinoid production. Watching their progression from clear to cloudy to amber provides the ultimate insight into maturity. • Currently, we’re seeing a fantastic mix of cloudy trichomes with some clear still hanging around – a perfect sign that they’re gearing up for their final push. • Fun fact: Trichomes serve as the plant’s natural defense mechanism, protecting it from UV rays and pests while being our treasure trove for cannabinoids and terpenes. Spectrum Tuning: The Science of Light Light plays a major role in shaping the maturation process, and this week, we’ve dialed in the spectrum for optimal results. Lighting Power: • Lower layer at 800 PPFD and the upper layer shining bright at 1500 PPFD. The canopy coverage is perfect for even development throughout the garden. Se riega con una solución de 3 Litros con Plagron Pure Zym (3 ml). -Día 60. Los tricomas siguen madurando se comienza a ver tricomas ambar en las sugar leafs. -Día 61. Se toman fotos y revisan los tricomas con lupa x40. -Día 62. Fue un hermoso viaje, dio sus frutos el entrenamiento temprano con LST y SCROG 🚀Equipamiento🚀 Indoor de 60x60x159 cm y una iluminación BlackCob F320, se activa solo 1 modulo (160w) a 45 cm del canopy por el resto del cultivo. Intractor de 135mm, extractor de 135mm, filtro de carbón, ventilador "oscilofan", ventilador "clip fan", este ultimo ventilador se ajusta en la parte baja de la carpa para mejorar la circulación de aire bajo el canopy, 2 termohigrometros y una malla SCROG de kanovi a 15 cm de la maceta. Que pasa familia, vamos con la cosecha de estas Gorilla cookies Auto de FastBuds. Por dónde empezar, es una autofloreciente que es muy fácil de cultivar, tiene un periodo corto de crecimiento y de floración igual no es largo. En cuanto a la alimentación , pues la aplique una vez por semana y a sido suficiente, se a comportado muy bien en interior, la flor pues no es muy prieta porque no deja de ser una autofloreciente, pero es una flor que está bien explotada y que va repleta de tricomas. El periodo de luz pues de principio a fin a 18 horas, fue sucficiente para completar el ciclo de vida como esperaba. Its been a busy week in Fat Zappa's Garden, hence another late update. I am no longer concerned about the gold patches on the plants, there has been a little more since the past update, particularly around the edges of some of the leaves but not much at all and it certainly doesn't appear to be anything serious so my fears have eased much in that regard. The three older ladies in this grow are coming to the end of day 32 as I type this update, and have grown into fairly big plants over the past week or so. Despite having low stress training applied every two or three days they now stand around a foot tall. Not quite as tall as their Fastbuds label mate, the Wedding Cheesecake I am growing in Canna Coco and the same dry amendments, which stands an inch taller than these three sisters, but then she is nine days younger. These three girls are certainly more fuller plants though, and the past few days have seen the white hairs begin to appear, particularly on the bud sites, which have also began to turn light green, and the stem on one of these girls begin to turn more 'vine like' in texture. Remaining on a schedule of about 2.5 litres of dechlorinated, aerated water of PH 6.4, day 28 also saw the garden revitalised by their usual tipple being replaced for an aerated compost tea of 2 cups of Worm Castings, 2 tablespoons of Alfalfa Meal, 2 tablespoons of Kelp Meal, and 1 tablespoon of Bat Guano in a cheese cloth bag, and placed in a UK 5 Gallon bucket with 2 tablespoons of Molasses mixed into the dechlorinated water I had aerated for 24 hours, and then brewed it for about 26 hours. It may just have been a well timed coincidence, but I do feel like the plants have shown a spurt of growth since receiving it, particularly the runt of these Mrs Banners, who received her first session of low stress training on day 30. Prior to this spurt of growth I was not going to perform any LST on her cos she just seemed way to small but has really filled out in the past week, although remains a very short specimen compared to her sisters, and the Wedding Cheesecakes who are 2 days younger than her. I am starting to think something may have gone awry when I mixed my soil up, as the two pots which I struggled to germinate the initial seeds in, one which failed completely, have not seemed to thrive as much as the other four plants. When I mixed the initial mix into the 5 Gallon pots I did it in two batches, yet filled the all the pots a scoop at a time along a row so it does seem strange. I think next time I will mixed the medium with the dry amendments and castings a pot at a time to gain more control and see if things improve. Also, in preparation for feeding the compost tea I did have a trim around the bottom of the larger plants as watering has become more difficult with all my wires and tucked leaves etc, which I immediately regretted, but actually, like I say, the plants seemed to have had a boost over the past few days so I am happy no harm has been done. The lights are now running at the full 450w and set to around 25 inches from the top of the canopy. I have also increased the airflow through the intake fan, the canopy fans are both on high, my two 40 watt fans are now running on medium, and my AC Infinity T6 turned up to three on the OFF setting. My heater and humidifier remain on full on the environment has remained stable despite the ramping up of the light to full blast. Lastly, day 32 began with a top dressing for all these plants, with the larger ladies showing signs of pre-flower. They got heaped portions of 1/2 cup of Worm Castings, 1/3 cup Dr Forest Organics 284 Bloom, and a table spoon of Dr Forest Organics Veg dry amendments which I mixed in as best I could with all my LST wires etc, and then watered at PH level 6.4. I'd like to mix the PH up a little more between 6.2 and 6.8 but it always seems to come out 6.4. I will endeavour to update the pages for the two Wedding Cheesecakes as soon as time allows. 3rd week now about to setup filter and extractor fan also will be starting LST in a day or 2. Everything is going well so far for a first grow hope it stays that way. Also added the humidifier at the weekend which has upped the humidity 15-20%

Today is day 56 and things are looking pretty good. Watered with half strength nutrients and will probably switch to straight water in the next couple days. The smell has really developed over the past couple weeks, I would say it was weak and just sweet/fresh but now it hits hard with sweet cream and funk/gas.

Hi, La sénescence se fait naturellement du fait d’une légère carence en N, j’ai quand même ajouté du Power Clean pour l’accélérer et améliorer encore plus le goût et l’odeur. Les couleurs violettes se propagent petit à petit vers le bas de la #2, et très légèrement sur la #1, comme des reflets. La puissance du panneau LED a été abaissé sur 55% La floraison est prévu pour 7-8 semaines et pourtant j’en suis à 10, sûrement du à la carence post stretch qui a ralentit la floraison et réduit le rendement ; J’ai observé les trichromes le 28/10, ils sont presque tous laiteux et les premiers ambrés arrivent doucement.. A la semaine prochaine 👋

Start of week 4 of flowering. Week 3 went well, even with temps reaching 35°c in the closet. I've since added another fan to circulate more air, temps have dropped down to 31°c. Despite the heat stress, the plants are growing rather well and bud sites are developing nicely. Light defoliation again this feeding. Based on the heat issues, I need to upgrade my exhaust fan, 100 CFM isn't enough to get ride of the heat.

Como ha mostrado a lo laargo de estas semanas y meses, algo fuera de lo comun y en floracion no se queda atras. El color y grosor de tallos ya esta demas decir lo bien que andan, el olor (que es algo caracteristico de esta etapa de la planta) es muy fuerte y frutal. Estos pre-cogollos tienen una produccion de resina que esperemos se mantenga hasta el final....

Day 70 Really struggled with high temperatures this week everyday was 33 plus and nights wasn’t much cooler just glad it’s over now got a week left until I have to harvest hopefully they be ready to go by then most of em anyways

Every week I watch my girls grow into beautiful budding trees only difference is now she in flowering I take her outside to absorb some of the beautiful sunshine and she's loving every bit of it. I let her stay outside for 8 hours in nature then back inside for another 8 hours of led full spectrum and turn out my lights for another 8 hr she's an Auto so she loving every minute of this ...... this is the results ⬆️
