Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. Good afternoon everyone! One more week is gone of the flowering. the plant looks beautiful, the buds become heavier every day. I still only use Hesi sponsored nutrients with every watering. I don't overdose on nutrients and follow the weekchart I got from Hesi. genetics is good old school from Neville's seed bank. It is also a normal seed, not femenized. The light schedule is 12/12 , feeding every day( I try to handle the cocos always wet) next week is the last flowering, after that I will clean the plant and will harvest it. Good luck, everyone

Elle sera définitivement classée comme une strain dure à faire pousser. Une semaine elle a trop de nutriment, et puis cette semaine, elle semble en manquer. Les feuilles jaunissent jour après jour et je n'ai même pas flushé encore. Peut-être que c'est les foliar feeds avec le BooBloom?. Au moins, elle a de belle couleurs mauves et jaunes que je n'ai jamais eu avant, dommage que ce soit trop tôt. Je crois que je vais la flusher 1 semaine avant la récolte au lieu de 2 et donner un peu de nutriments à chaque arrosage pour les dernières semaines avec une plus forte concentration de Bloom. 2/10: I watered today with about 3/4 gallon each, plus cal-mag, signal, bembe, armor si, a little open sesame, and their final dose of endoboost. The short one never did stop making the hook leaves on all her new growth, but she seems happy..budding faster than anybody else.. 2/11: Wife home sick today....postponing construction project to raise the lights. 2/12: Today, I tackled the project to raise my ceiling another foot. In addition to that project, I installed and hooked up my new AC Infinity 6" intake fan. It's pulling in fresh air from the soffit vent on the eave of the attic, and currently feeding the garden with 46f fresh air. I'm able to easily maintain daytime temps in the lower 70f's now. I am able to drive the nighttime temps as low as I want. The only issue is that the outdoor RH varies quite a bit, so I ordered a 30-pint dehumidifier to put in the top of the closet. I sprayed everybody with boomboom spray to try and mitigate the light burn damage that is likely to ensue. 2/13: The taller one is still stretching a little bit, but the 2-footer is just budding up. 2/14: I fed them today with about 3/4 gallon each including grow big, big bloom, tiger bloom, cal-mag, signal, bembe, humic acid, and I switched over from Open Sesame to Beastie Bloomz. Raised the lights another couple of inches. I did some training on them and defo'd a little bit. 2/15: Installed the new dehumidifier and rigged the continuous drain on it...works great. 2/16: I rotated the edge plants and removed some old leaves. I added another 22w 3000k 4' bar light under the canopy. 2/17: I rearranged the garden and defoliated a little bit. That's it for week 8-

Good bud and visible trichome development.😍 Stretch seems to be slowing down by the end of this week. Another round of MegaWorm and Guano powder spread on the soil this week. Temperatures and and watering needs are increasing as the light is set to 100% this week. 160W of LED on about a third of a square meter should push these plants to some nice yields.🙌

Continuing flush. Planning on harvest this week. Started the flush a bit early on the CBD and probably should have chopped a week ago, but lesson learned. Both plants have a bit of yellowing on the sugar leaves and the tops of the buds (especially the CBD feel a bit crisp and are browning. Hopefully won't affect much other than appearance since this is just for personal use anyway! Will update soon with the harvest details once the initial drying is done.

Week of admiring this girl is drinking water every 2 days without problems something big to take I need a lot more of that in my garden her resistance and incredible leaving in its natural form you only feed and observe because it makes great sprouts with incredible sugar, aroma sweet, previous weeks in veg the defoliation of everything that was underneath made something bigger in equal proportions, it really doesn’t need big lights to show its potential I believe that improving in each specific strain you know each one, being able to understand more and improve. Thanks for another week everyone, the trichomes are taking their best potential, I hope at any time to return with the harvest 😁

Added an humidifier to keep a constant humidity level of 55% in the grow room. The temperature just outside the grow room is 10C, and even more outside is 0C!! It's a miracle I can keep a temperature over 20C inside the room ;) UPDATE: TOPPED! A nice cut just over the 3rd node. She’s still kinda small and fat, and this is because of the light that was too close to the plant last week. Now she’s 60cm far away from that. Because of the top, I gave her 2ml of Voodoo Juice to help her radicate a little bit more. Let’s see what happens!

This week went well I am continuing to harvest buds as they become ready. The leaves are yellowing more and more letting me know that she is almost complete. I think the lower bids have about one more week until they are ready and that will complete the harvest for Big Girl. Little girl is now declining, she has not branches out or grown new tops.

Things are looking good. Another thing I learned on this batch, SOAK the rockwool a few days before, so the water can drain out. My problem, and did it before, but have better control this time. The problem is I soak the rockwool, then the clones are drowning in the cubes because they are so wet, and take a week to begin to dry out. Just gave them water, so they ben drying for over a week, with no water, thus no fresh oxygenated water. Also as you will see in the video, I added new QB288 lights. There on a 480-1750b, so I need to start with 3 at 3000, and will be buying 2 more, 1 at 4000 and another at 3000, thus will have 5 QB 288 in a 4x4 :)

Monkey berries is finished up in 55 days flushed too 0.0 EC . The colours are so beautiful!! She’s went quite purple for me the trichomes are thick what a killer strain to go it was my first exotic mikes genetics looking forward to the next run with exotic genetics.. stated flushing the slurrican IX yesterday she be chopped by day 60 . One last update coming of the final grow in a week or so .. happy growing

The start of week 5 is going well. Blueberry is smelling nice and my seedlings should be showing preflowers soon.
