ｆｒｏｓｔｅｄ　ｇｕａｖａ ❄️ 🌱 Woche 9 von 10 – Ernte 🌱 Diese Woche ist es endlich soweit – die beiden hinteren Pflanzen werden geerntet. Rückblickend haben alle drei in den letzten Wochen nochmal ordentlich an Volumen und Gewicht zugelegt, wodurch sich das Warten definitiv gelohnt hat. Da die beiden hinteren Pflanzen in ihrer Entwicklung deutlich weiter sind als die vordere, werden sie nun zuerst geerntet. Die vordere Pflanze darf noch etwas länger reifen, weshalb ich dieses Grow Diary bis zu ihrer Ernte weiterführen werde. Besonders begeistert hat mich zum Ende hin das wunderschöne Farbenspiel der Buds. Genau solche Momente machen den gesamten Grow zu etwas Besonderem. Die beiden hinteren Pflanzen wurden vor der Ernte eine Woche lang ausschließlich mit Wasser gespült und sind jetzt bereit für den finalen Schritt. Ein großes Dankeschön geht an Green House Seeds für die gesponserten Seeds. Die Genetik hat mich auf ganzer Linie überzeugt und gehört für mich zu den besten, die ich bisher anbauen durfte. Nothing has realy happened since I cropped the royal cream....It is just hanging. Decided to do a dry trim so that it takes longer to dry due to the fact I am having to just use my cupboard so the humidity is pretty low. Leaving the leaves on just means It takes longer to dry. I am going to crop the Easy Bud in the next few days when the mood takes me. I had 4 left over R. Cream seeds left over because I informed them that. bought 2x 3 packs and only 2 seeds germinated so they sent me another packet which is REALLY good of them and the sort of thing that means I would definitely use Royal Queen Seeds again, for sure! The trich's are basically all cloudy with a few clear. I cant see any amber but my loupe is a ridiculously cheap Chinese piece of crap. I will invest in a microscope camera so I can hook it up to my phone or MacBook. It is way too hard to keep everything steady In order to see what is popping with my sexy trichomes. Obviously feeding has stopped for about a week now. I forgot to change it In the diary last week so will try and correct that now.. I know it is not strictly relevant but I had to go somewhere earlier and took a video because I was able o walk in the middle of a main road in my town which Is usually packed full of cars, especially at the time I was walking on it. It is a time that makes me even more glad I grow my own. I really need to buy the bigger tent, lights and re-locate to the bigger, more subtle cupboard (not the one i am using to dry my weed in the video I posted) and then I will be able to effectively ScrOG the 2 or 3 plants I have, in order to maximise yield so I can be totally self sufficient with regards to my cannabis medicine. UPDATE - MONDAY I just realised I have made a proper idiots mistake an missed out on some much tastier buds because of it. OK, so I got paid today, so I though I would treat myself to some of them cheap COB chips I used for my last grow because hey were super cheap and actually really effective considering the price. I ordered 2x 100w 6000k veg spectrum chips with a solderless connection for my power. I also ordered one of these heatsink + reflector. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01MT824NP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 My thinking was that I have a spare heatsink here that the old citizen CLU-048 is attached to so I was going to fit one of the chips into that and the other into the heatsink and fan I bought. This hought process lead me to go ad retrieve the old citizen LED and I thought I would try it. Still didn't work, then suddenly I thought it could be a simple blown fuse so I changed it aaaannnnd.....still doesn't work. doh! I started to remove the COB holder and COB from the heatsink (it was just glued to it using thermal compound) and when I laid it on the table I decided to test the driver without the COB holder on the tiny off chance it might work...nope I then realised maybe I got the + and - the wrong way round, tried again and boom works perfectly. The connection from the holder to the cob had bent slightly off contact. Really annoying that this whole time I could have doubled my photons to the plant, however, really nice that I don't have to spend a load more money on lighting in order to upgrade into the new room. So all I have to do now is spend money on a pre-drilled heatsink and a new metal COB holder for the citizen.

Smooth sailing this week, caterpillars have slowed, they will burrow into the soil to pupate from now until first frost. Next year I'm going to put bands of sticky tangle foot around the cherry tree in Oct, canker moths will emerge in Nov and have no luck getting back into that tree to lay eggs for next year. Top dress of a couple cups of home made compost with 20tbps of Gaia Green AP/PB, 70/30, 10tbps for smaller airpot. Fungus gnatts are always annoying in my smaller pots. Airpots make it fun because now they go in the sides, trying shade cloth which I normally use anyways around the pot. Did some super cropping of the small plant as well, looking good, no signs of flower yet, but I'm sure the pots maxed soon so we'll see. Witnessed the brood of Chickadees in my nest box take first flight, what a sight. Now I have a family of 7 eating those damn caterpillars. Half dose of silica / diablo maxx, and some drip, weekly LCPT spray and that's a wrap.

They have definitely doubled in size and probably grown 2in or so. Showing good color of green with no present issues. I'll do my weekly preventive maintenance and go from there. Week was pretty successful. Only problems I had was my PH out of wack due to the lava rocks. Ever since i took them out PH has been pretty stable. I check it every 2-3 days to keep at 5.8 to 6.2 range. I am up for suggestions on the medium.. should i keep it in or just leave them to sit at the bottom of the net pots? Any help will do for this grow. Thanks

And the time to flip her out came and here is day one on a 11/13 light shuttle lol she is looking amazing to my eyes and so , but so ready to flowers and deliver big fruits, lets see. I topped 2x and they are all clean up to the top, from now on i will give her a defoliation some point on, like day 15 something like that, depending on her needs , if needed before it will b if after, after will b, she will decide if and wen i defoliate her . I gave her still in this watering some root booster (start booster in my case) but from now on i will not give it tho her any more, started my P on them and my fruit booster ( in my case topbooster) Gave her her last training and from here on she is capable of doing her thing, i believe in her and in the power of Aptus Nutrient line. Hello Diary. Mimosa Auto has entered the first week of flowering, at least as far as Mimosa # 1 is concerned, given that Mimosa # 2 is a few days behind. Mimosa # 1 has grown 80 cm which worries me a bit, I hope it won’t grow too much in height anymore. The plant is quite stretched, and the distance between the branches is longer. This is not the case with Mimos # 2, it is the complete opposite. A small bush, full of large leaves. So on the 28th day I did a defoliation on both plants, plus the Sherbet Queen with whom they share the “Farm”. I removed the leaves and branches at the bottom of the stem, now the air flow through the plants is much better. Mimosa # 1 is very nicely shaped with a solid elongated stem, and the flowers began to form at the ends of the branches. For Mimosa # 2, I used Bending clips, small plastic devices for bending branches. We'll see what happens. Watering has become more frequent, every two days I water with about 2 liters of water. This week I added only one Easy Bloom Booster tablet to stimulate flowering and I adjusted the p.H to a value around 6.3 and at one watering I added CalMg preventively. The conditions on the Farm are in line with the summer months. The temperature is slightly higher, 28 degrees and the humidity is around 50%. It is expected that the temperature will increase in the coming time, considering the temperatures during the summer. I also changed the light mode, I put 4 hours of darkness and 20 hours of light. Both plants look really good, the leaves are a healthy dark green color and for now everything seems to be going as it should. Mimosa Auto # 1 - 80 cm Mimosa Auto # 2 - 45 cm Here’s what it looked like last week. 08/06/2021 - Day 24. Watering. I put one Easy Bloom Booster tablet in 6 liters of water and lowered the pH to 6.5. With that, I evenly watered all three plants that are on the “Farm”. Since the last watering was three days ago, the branches and leaves were very droopy which is an indication that they were very very thirsty. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 27.5 degrees and 45% humidity. 10/06/2021 - Day 26. Watering. I prepared 7 lit, lowered the p.H to 6.2 and did not add any other nutrients. 12/06/2021 - Day 28. End of the fourth week. I did defoliation on all three plants and put bending clips on Mimosa # 2. I think it will respond very well. I photographed the plants, measured the height and then watered them. This time I added 1.5ml / lit of CalMg preventively. That’s it for this week, see you soon.

16th June We're drawing to a close. I'm not sure how much longer there is to go, we're well into the expected 55-65 day flowering window at this point. It's about to shut. At this point my past plants would have some mild chlorosis from nutrient burn or lockout, or at least some yellowing of leaves this late into flower as the plant goes looking for resources. I think the huge volume of soil works as a magnificent buffer against common errors. I feel like she really filled out the space we gave her beautifully. Makes me wonder if topping maybe three times might have given us a very interesting result, and much better in terms of light intensity per bud. I'm used to some chlorosis as a sign I look for that the plant has decided we're at the end of the road. So far, we're evergreen from top to bottom. I'll have to rely on inspecting the individual trichomes for change. Speaking of the main cola, it's huge. It's fat, it's girthy. Weighty, even. It's a sight to behold. It's also full of mould. See photos, I tried to open things up a bit for the camera. None of the other flowers seem affected. I'm honestly not surprised in the least, but if I knew to open the bud up a bit I would have done so. Might not have succumbed to the creeping grey death. About half of it is salvageable from a hasty first assessment. Fingers crossed as always. Looking forward to sampling, not long now :):):)

[ Information ] For all grow information, including strain and room details, please see the first week of veg. [ Updates ] (Flower) Day 1 - Light intensity increased to 65%. C02 increased to 1300ppm average. Day temp/humidity 85/70 (1-1.2VPD), night temp/humidity 75/65 (.8-1VPD). Fed a diluted compost tea mixture before lights on. Base water was R/O and tap water mixed lightly with silica and Tribus microbes. Tea was a mixture of Fish Hydrolysate, Bat Guano, Molasses, Fulvic/Humic, Kelp, and Earthworm Castings. 8 gallons of tea were added to 72 gallons of water mixture for an 80gal batch total. The batch was mixed for a half hour before feeding to the room. I did not PH or PPM test the mixture, organic material is hard to get an accurate PPM reading so the numbers are useless to me. I will be working to bring the lights to 100% power over this first week of flower. Day 4 - Light intensity increased daily, currently at 90%. Will raise to full power tomorrow. C02 increased to 1800ppm average. Temp and humidity for day and night are still the same. Lights were raised slightly to maintain 12 inches from canopy height, and a few growth nodes that were above the canopy got topped. Watered today with an 80gal (1.25gal p/pot) mixture, 10% tap 90% r/o water. 6.8 PH, 2.2ec. Foliar sprayed yesterday before lights off with a neem mixture for weekly IPM. Canopies are stretching relatively evenly, though I will be adding in support nets within a few days to help maintain the even spread. I've run this strain before so I'm fairly confident that I know what to expect during these few stretch weeks. Day 7 - Lights have been at 100% since day 5. C02 still 1800-2000ppm on average. Plants are stretching quickly into the lights, I have yet to readjust their height. The best growth usually happens when I do nothing, and I've done almost nothing the past couple days besides enjoy the unusually warm spring weather my area is currently experiencing. Watered today, 100gal (1.5gal p/pot) mixture, <1ec. Mainly an organic feeding for microbe health, also wanted a bit more runoff than normal due to the high ec feeding previously.

Day 56-63 (Day 57) I might have to fix the light to the roof of the tent so I can get another 3 inches up. The ppfd is just too intense at this height. The node stacking is super tight, I’m seeing some droop on almost every plant and the plants just look stunted. I might have to take out the big shelf I just paid 90$ for and raise the light to get the ppfd level down. This happened my last grow as well. It’s a great light for flowering but sucks ass for veg unless it’s hung 5’ above the canopy. I’ve seen videos of others with the same light and they have to fix it to the roof. The dimming function only works with a master controller I don’t have the money for right now. Pulling bbb #2. I’m seeing very small but clear pollen sacks. It’s also drooping like crazy. The roots don’t look as healthy as some of the other males I pulled earlier. They have a slight brown tinge but still mostly white. I wonder if I accidentally gave top dressed it too many times when I mixed them all up a while ago. I’m going to transplant bbb’s #1, #3, #6 & #7 into my 10 gallon destiny/coco pots lightly water. This is kind of a gamble because 2 of them are not showing definitively. Although I’m about 75% sure they’re fems. If not, I got my two backups. (Day 58) I was reading about symptoms of high PH and I definitely have it indicated by the twisted and stunted growth on top. I’m going to try to water in a full gallon at 5.8 and see if I get a good response. I sprayed the pump nozzle directly into the soil after it was empty to put some oxygen into that big 10g pot. The blackberry I gave the lowered PH water too noticeably responded within a few hours. The clawing has pretty much stopped and it now looks like the healthiest plant in the tent. I’m going to see how it responds over the next few days then try it with my other plants if everything looks good. I’m going to try it with bbb #5 in the 1.7g pot and see if it responds in the same way. I ran a gallon of 5.8 water through 1.7g and got less than a 100ml of runoff which is a little surprising. The runoff measured 1750ppms which seems a little on the high side but isn’t insane for peat based soil. (Day 59) Wow. The plants responded to that little PH adjustment insanely well. #5 isn’t dropping at all and the leaf wrinkles are actually flattening out. It’s starting to look like one of the healthiest plants in the tent. I’m still hoping for #5 to show female. 5 plants would cut my veg time down and give me another opportunity for a keeper pheno. All 4 plants are looking like they’ve already recovered from their transplant. #1 in particular was drooping like crazy yesterday and today it’s bounced back and looking happier than ever. I’m seeing a bit of tip droop on a few plants but they still seem fine I wonder if because my soil is 50% coco I should try watering on the acidic side, around 6.0-6.2 from now on. I’m almost certain that solved all the issues I was having. (Day 62) Plants are all looking really healthy. They all seem to have outgrown the initial light stress actually but node stacking is still really tight and I hope to raise the light up next week sometime. I’m going to drop the humidity to 60% for the rest of veg. These pots are massive and I’m still a little worried about dry downs but they aren’t showing any signs of overwatering or lack of oxygen. BBB#3 is starting to show some weird discoloring like an mag or nitrogen deficiency. Which is weird because it’s freshly transplanted into nitrogen rich soil. Guess I will give it a kelp foliar spray. I’ve been looking for a good organic source of K without an absurd amount of magnesium and sulfur like langbeinite has. I found some 0-0-15 kelp/seaweed extract in soluble crystal form. So from time to time I will water that in at half strength or with compost teas to keep my soil K dominant. (Day 63) I’m still waiting on #6 to show sex. I am shocked it hasn’t shown sex yet. Although it was started a week and a half after the others but still. I’m going to be so pissed if it ends up being a male. I’m taking a gamble but I’m confident it will show female when the time comes. bbb#3 got a little more color back from that foliar spray. Hope that doesn’t get worse because it’s my favorite pheno so far. I will give a N boost in the form of compost tea tomorrow afternoon to both of my tents. I’m starting to utilize the scrog net and boy does it make training way easier. This seems to be a much smarter style of growing for yield and quality. I’m getting tired of these pH fluctuations every time I water. I’ve been eyeballing for the most part and I need a consistent formula. I found the perfect mix to stabilize my RO water and stabilize the pH at 6.2. I moistened the top soil of each plant and will watch for any reactions. Water recipe: 60ml bottled water 2000ml RO water 3ml calmag 2ml microbes
