Start of week 2 flowering. This girl is hungrier than her round 1 sister. Probably because of the extra veg time, she has developed more root and plant mass that needs more nutrients. The plant itself is growing nicely, stretching a little and filling out.

Another new grow and like the OG kush, trying something new with this grow, by flipping to 12/12 for a week (without bloom nutrients). Also with this grow and the OG kush, I'm switching to the coco series nutes, as they have higher P & K values than the non-coco line up.

Week 11 started, I was hoping for a harvest soon, but looking at buds and comparing to other growers, seems like plants arent quite ready yet. Will harvest at end of week I think. So week 11 has ended, I got myself a better microscope mid-week, looking through microscope and comparing whats written on the internets it looks like it still isnt quite ready. Perhaps I'll go for an early harvest, what could go wrong? Will wait few days to decide if want to harvest at next week start or wait much longer. First grow, zero experience. :D

The CMH grow light has been set to 300w power and hung 120cm above the seedlings. The room is humidified to keep the humidity over 50%. A small fan is mixing the air to avoid any hot pockets from developing, plus the air movement is keeping the rockwool cool through evaporation. The extractor fan is running to get rid of excess hot air in the tent. Babies are growing fast. 😄

What’s good everyone, this is the start of week 11 and the first week of flower. Yesterday I let the, sit in darkness for a whole day to jump start them and by the sight of it, they sure did jump a bit. MXOP is amazing she takes to what every you toss at her, she is hard to stress out. But after growing this cultivar a few times now I can say they don’t require much nitrogen as one would think they CRAVE calcium and possibly a bit of magnesium but from what I have seen they ALWAYS want more calcium weird might be the soil I have been using. Another blessed week with vigorous and accelerated growth. Its stem is now 5mm thick. I've been adding Potassium Silicate in some waterings, I believe this is giving it the strength. The ppm is now approaching 1000, and I always keep the pH at 5.8. I applied the Topping pruning at the 3rd node, and as soon as the side branches grow, I'll do LST (Low-Stress Training). I'll also perform the first defoliation soon.

Week 11 Jan. 13 - Jan. 19, 2020 Jan. 15, 2020 CS #1 & #2 are coming along nicely. No amber trichomes but wow t the plants are frosty and they have a strong pungent smell. When thr main cola is bent a little sideways it really begins out the smell. The smell is like a gassy, diesel fuel, strong chemically smell. I love it. CS #3 is giving me some problems. The pics might show it. The leaf tips are curling up and thr leaf edges are turning brown. Not sure if I can correct this befor harvest. It's late into flower. I may just ride it out until then. I've topped dress once weekly for the last 4 weeks with kelp, and a blend from roots organic for bloom 4-6-3.

This plant was a dream to grow, wish I'd taken cuts. Halfway through dry at 7 days. Drying at 55 - 60 % RH and 17 - 19 degrees C. I anticipate she'll be done between 10 - 14 days total dry time and I'll then trim and update weights on this Harvest. 133.75g total after trim. She's a nice smoke, very happy.
