Ok start of week 5, as stated in the video I finally got on top of the ph drop. After some research I found that dwc systems can have 2 problems that can create this problem. One is the air it pulls in is to rich in co2 and basically creates acidic resovour but since I have been changing the system weekly I didn’t feel this was my problem. The other reason could be too low ec for the plants. Basically every plant has a natural ec lvl and if the nutrients are below that of the plant it can create an inbalance that leads to ph drop. I upped my nutrients from 1200 to 1400 and since I done that my ph has stayed stable at 5.8. Also had signs of slight light burn so lifted the light. So on we go learning this system day by day. Will say I have seen some great explosive growth since it’s all been stabilised.

Starting with EB2, - [22:15]: Poured 2 cups out of one of the gallons into a measuring cup. --- Added 60mL (2oz) of Yah-Whey. --- Mixed and poured the solution straight into the fill tube. --- Then poured the rest of the gallon along with another full gallon of distilled water into the fill tube. - [22:27]: Repeated the exact same process with EB1. --- Poured 2 gallons of distilled water along with 60mL of Yah-Whey into the reservoir. --- Great! Now both EarthBoxes are the fullest they have ever been. - [22:36]: Rotated the EarthBoxes back to the default configuration. --- Oops. Sour Wiz is still in veg. 7 weeks. Looking fantastic. EAsiest strain to grow so far. 0 issues and respond so everything well. Once I can sex I’ll separate and start planning to flower. Skywalker OG is still going great in week 9 of flower. STARTING to see a lot of bud structure and white hairs. Northern Lights is still surprising because it was so mutated and now its thriving.

Apologies for not updating last week, I have just been really busy! These last couple of weeks have been great - her growth is coming along very well. There are no signs of any deficiencies as of yet, what is your opinion! In regards to defoliating and lollipopping - what growth would you suggest I get rid off?

Been trying to keep the humidity between 40-60%. Likely going to purchase a humidifier. Plants seem to be loving the Elite Nutrients though.

What can I say about this lady? Well let's see. She's sticky as hell. She's a 🔝 trichomes machine. Beautiful hard dense nuggets. Very spicy and piney aroma, very very strong, stinks my whole balcony. Let the flower begin! Shut the lights off April 1st so when they wake up at 7am the flower cycle is on!!!! Let's "flipping" GOOOO

At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. Everything after germination has been pretty smooth. The plants in veg had a couple small brown spots due to under watering but no extreme signs or any abnormalities.

I think she is a beautiful strain, but man is it a pain in the ass to trim here and there, and to LST. Her stems were always very fragile no matter what i did, not to break but to bend. Stayed short, and grew bushy, I couldn't get them to strengthen up. But overall I would say its pretty to look at and grows densely and might be worth a try.
