Can't believe we're at the start week 5 already. This is such a beautiful process. Things are looking good - I started defoliation on all the ants this week. I figure, the little one isn't getting much bigger, the big one is so bushy the light is having trouble getting thru even with LST, and the bag seed seems to be a photoperiod plant so I have all the veg time I need to recover on that one. Update: The bigger girl started flowering on day 32! Let me know what y'all think!

#Crop King Seeds Planting 3 Seeds Using 2 Different Techniques to germinate the Seeds - The First 2 Seeds were germinated (Jul 2nd) using the water / paper towel technique * The seeds were dropped in a half glass of bottled water (It stayed afloat) and kept in a closed dark area. * After 12 Hours the 2 seeds were pushed down to reach the bottom of the glass using my finger. * After 24 hours the 2 seeds were transferred / Now using the paper towel method to complete the germination - The last seed was germinated (Jul 3) using just the paper towel method * This method took longer to break the seed surface. On Jul 6 Decided to transfer all 3 seedlings into the Aerogarden. * Seed G1 had about 5cm roots. Some flowers already sprouting * Seed G2 had about 3 cm roots. Still had seed top. * Seed G3 had only just cracked . No length

Howdy it is day 63 and in 2 days it is time to harvest. Since 2 weeks i feed clear Walter only. They get 16 hours darkness before harvest. All the plants are really🔥 My favourites are still 3G and Wedding Gelato. The smell and Look is crazy. You will see i guess Also North Thunderfuck and Hulkberry is good looking. so i let the plants veg out for another week (per my girlfriends recommendations). here's a plug to CocoForCannabis.com, I learned a lot there and I give a lot of credit to high frequency fertigation in coco. I defoliated twice just this week, and within a day or two all of the leaves have come back. i did one large defoliation today as I plan to flip to flower on Tuesday. I'll let all these grow vertical and then I'll do one final cleaning at the end of week two. I'm loving these barneys farm genetics - the plants are strong, and I'm getting the craziest lemon scent - like lemon candy. not a lot of skunk coming through yet, but I'm sure that will come in flower. i also cracked on of these plants right down the main stem when doing the quadline LST, and it just powered straight through and didn't even show and stress signs. full credit to the genetics on that one. included some before, during and after pics of defolation. unfortunately my timelapse got messed up AGAIN (stupid wyze cameras) so I only was able to pull like two days, but you can see some of the daily quadline training and how fast they flip back up and grow out

On Feb 24 applied LST, girls responded perfectly. Leaves tucking on daily basis. 2 watering with 1L each on Feb 24th (half nutrients dose) and second one on Feb 28 alongside with 2 foliar feedings(100ml water and fish mix). So far this grow is just a pure joy. Both girls are strong and healthy. 🌸 Week 21 Update (Flower – Week 4) Another steady week in the garden 🌿✨. Red Hot Violet continues to thrive 🔥💜 stacking up nicely with frosty buds ❄️🌸 and that signature rich aroma filling the space 🍇🌿. She’s clearly loving her environment 🌞💨 and showing no signs of slowing down 📈. Amaretto Sour 🍋 is still hanging in there 💪 though a bit overshadowed under the canopy 🌳😅. Haven’t separated them yet still planning the water separation method 💧

9/8/2024 Plant B showing signs of female with hairs coming from the pre-flower formations. Looks to be stretching and starting to push into flower as well. Plant A is growing insanely well! Continuing to defoliate daily by removing larger fan leaves here and there to continue to open up the canopies on both plants. No complete water change yet since a few weeks ago. I have continued to add fresh nutrient water with an occasional pH-adjusted gallon of filtered water + cal mag. 9/10/2024 Both plants and stretching nicely and developing great canopies! Plant A is an absolute monster, plant B is small and compact but has really good node spacing already. I am expecting some nice flower development over the next few weeks! Topping off the reservoir with about 1 - 1.5 gallons per day of nutrient water at this point. Continuing to prune a good handful of leaves and smaller growth from the plants to open up the canopy leading up to day 21 final trim. Trying to stay ahead of a huge stress event for the plants. 9/12/2024 Continuing to defoliate handful of leaves and prune smaller undergrowth. Cutting only 2-4 stems per day to avoid over stressing. 9/13/2024 Raised lights over plant A a few inches as it continues to stretch. Also trying to keep the lights low enough for plant B without burning the side branches of plant A. 9/14/2024 All week I have been adding nutrient water to the system. No water change or replacement. However today, I decided to introduce just pH-balanced water to drop the nitrogen concentration in the system as we transition into week 3 flower. Highest PPM throughout the week was around 900, average 800, low in the PM after pH water 700. Had a minor flow issue with a root plug in one of the drain lines. Blew them out and flow returned. Humidity in the tent has been slightly higher than ideal this week, although VPD has been around 1 - 1.4 with the lights on. Likely due to the volume of plant matter in the tent. Doing my best to keep up with defoliation and trimming. Day 21 flower will be much needed!

Harvest done, a few days drying and then up for weeks of curing.

Day 15: 3 nodes now visible on both plants. Day 16: Lights lowered. Canopy now at 20000 lux. At 22" from the canopy, my light is hanging lower than recommended by HLG but I am using a lux meter to ensure the amount of light isn't too much for my plants. I'm at home almost all day almost everyday so it's the perfect time for daily lowering of the lights and monitoring carefully. Day 17: Lowered light to increase LUX readings by another 50%. Canopy now at 30000LUX. One more lowering should bring us into optimal amount of light. Noticed a slight amount of curling on leaves last night so upped the ProCal just slightly. I make my mix using pre dosed calmag & potassium silicate water. I adjusted the final EC with this water to ensure calmag levels remain high enough to prevent the coco from "stealing" it in its own cation exchange points. Ended up adding Green Planet GPH Uptake to the lineup today for the PM feeding. Will continue at recommended dosage going forward. Also picked a foliar calmag. Made a foliar spray with recommended dose of GP Ocean Magic as well; adjusted pH to appropriate level. Did one application then ditched the Ocean Magic as you're only to use this as a foliar once weekly. Made calmag foliar spray and am now regularly using this in my mister. This will allow me to adjust with plain water as to keep the EC down and my nutrient mix stronger. Also had a revelation! Root Guard and GPH Uptake have very minimal impact on EC so therefore can be added after dilution as to insure a full dose of each of these are being applied at each feeding. Day 18: Ladies doing so great now in veg phase of growth. Calmag and Ocean Magic foliar application yesterday and continued Calmag applications throughout the day seem to have really given them a boost. Adding GPH Uptake seems to be a great addition to the lineup. It will take a few more days to truly notice the results.Looking like only a few more days until the Lamb's Breath sees its first round of LST. Noticing a bit of leaf curl on both plants. I have been fertigating with a litre of solution twice daily. I am going to reduce to once daily for at least today. Will try for smaller feeding tomorrow morning and see if I can still achieve the required 10-20% runoff with an EC no higher than 300 points more than inflow. Ceasing foliar calmag applications until plant stops showing signs of oxygen deficiencies, especially the Blue Diesel. Added a Wyze cam to the setup which is awesome. I can check the ladies all the time with out opening up and disturbing their environment. (THIS IS THE POINT WHERE LIGHT BURN WAS FIRST VISIBLE BUT I WASN'T AWARE!) Day 19: EC rose dramatically as i skipped evening fertigation (Day 18). This is NOT a recommended course of action. I was trying to adjust for what looks like oxygen deprivation to the root system of the Blue Diesel (IT WAS ACTUALLY TOO MUCH LIGHT!). I think this plant is lagging behind the Lamb's Breath a bit due to being bleached (TOO MUCH LIGHT!). I believe this may be the root problem (hahahaha!) and why it is a bit behind the Lamb's Breath. Droopy leaves are usually indicative of an over saturation of water in your media. I will fertigate 3 times today to correct EC issues. Still keeping EC to just under 1000 microsiemens. Reducing volume of solution given to the Blue Diesel by half. Day 20: Started LST on the Lamb's Breath. Slowly raising EC back up to ~1000 for the Blue Dream. Lowered the light by about an inch and shuffled the plants just a bit to get optimal light saturation. Everything chugging along at this point now. Day 21 & 22: Soooo I lowered my light too much. Started noticing signs of light burn on the LB. Watched some videos, read some articles then found my manufacturer's recommended hanging height. This HLG 100 V2 should be at 24" for veg stage. So thats where it got put back up to. Measured 20000LUX on the meter still which is within optimal range. I'm sure with the light up higher, the penetration to the lower canopy will be better due to the reflective walls of the tent. I removed the first pipe cleaner of LST on the LB to let it grow up toward the light a bit more. The one day of being tied down has had a dramatic effect on the production of branches lower down. I'll (probably) let it ride out for this week to allow unfettered growth before starting to tie down new branches. Days 23-26: Everything rolling. Figured out optimal EC is around 800 for inflow for both plants. Thinking this may be the optimal inflow EC for the Green Planet Line. Decided to pick up an HLG 65 V2 4000K light as well as an HLG 135w RSpec. Both are KILLER lights for sure. The 65 has really helped in veg phase. I would highly recommend it! Optimal light hanging height ended up being around 24" for the 65 which is manufacturers recommended height. Can't wait to see what the 135w fixture can do. Day 27: Switched lights to the HLG 135w RSpec today. Lowered light down to 90 watts so the lights aren't too much of a change from one day to the next. They are about 50% brighter than the HLG 65 V2 4000K when hung up to the maximum height my tent will allow. It looks to be a sweet light and the plants are getting new hues of green showing almost immediately.

This week I've just been feeding, watering and defoliated the girls.
