11-09-2021: Today is day one of my veg-stage. I hoped for 15 ladies but I only got 14. Maybe the not germinated Runtz will come up anyway so I put her in the system too. Everything is refreshed now and I will just be waiting to the point where I can top the ladies which I am planning to do at least once. 13-09-2021: The not germinated runtz didn't make it so I have replaced her with another Purple Haze. Great seeds from wietzaadjes.nl. Still hoping for the Runtz though. One of the purple haze looks a bit yellow :(

So, first of all, I want to say that I´ll be doing the diaries in a weekly updates way, instead of day by day, not only because it is less heavy on me, but I think it´s a better and more attractive reading. So, tell me if you prefer day by day or weekly updates please! Thanks! So, this week was pretty good, thricomes are looking pretty close to harvest. About 90% cloudy, with a little amber and clear. Watered with regular water and didn´t feed her. Flushed it with regular water on day 74, looked like it had still lots of nutes/salts buildup. And about flushing: I saw a really good study (I can link if it´s of interest for someone) showing that flushing isn´t really required, specially if you´re doing organic grows. It was really well explained and had solid arguments and comparisons, even tho, I flushed her in order to see if it really makes a difference. On day 76 when i first opened the tent in the day, she was all the way to the floor, almost hitting 2 tiny girls on the tent. Since she doesn´t had any strenght to support herself, I used some ropes to mantain her up. In resume: The week´s been really nice, she´s beautiful as hell with some purples and I´ve learnt some really good stuff as well.

Hey, it's all normal, I would say, today I removed all the leaves that were dried out or over 60 percent yellow. I'm really looking forward to the harvest, but I already know that the result in terms of quantity won't be my personal highscore, I should have left it in the vegi phase longer but the net is "warned" before the stretch, but I didn't think it was so severe, that was I think the biggest mistake in this grow😏 but well you never stop learning and the next time will be better 😊👌 oh so the trichomes are clear to milky I think 1 week then it is harvest but I want about 30 / 50 have ratio 😱😁

Alright grow cycle, mistakes, improvements, etc... She did stay in veg for too long, her growth was slow and not the best and so she took quite long, next time i'll be there from the beginning so I can take care of her throughout. But her growth is really fun. It is a tall growing sativa with fairly tight noding when trained accordingly, producing long filled colas. The buds grow fairly dense and fluffly but do air out a little when dried. Trichome production was pretty impressive as well as terpene production. She had thrips since her early days but did not seem to mind them at all. I did spray them initially but once flower started I stopped. I believe predatory mites might have been feeding on the pupae in the soil, if that is what this specific species of thrips did, the reason I say that is I could never see adults only larvae. Whatever the case maybe they were there but the population never really increased. Something I did not mention during the grow is that those plants were played music during the days, music that is apparently developed for plants. The 10L pot was WAY too small for a true sustainable living organic and to provide enough space for the plant, that was a mistake, I'd say a 20L would be the bare minimum and still. The bigger the better. The hempy transfer did not hurt the plant and I believe even helped to some extent, BUT, I am still running test on the subject and so can't confirm anything, here are my observations Roots did not colonize the perlite, a little on top and the sides but that was it, I was expecting to see a big root mass in there. I believe hempy are great for salt fert as it hold a soup of nutes where the plant can feed from since the coco only holds very little Whereas in nature most nutrient are in the top soil where the highest amount of decomposition happens, this is where the highest microbial activity happens and so where the plant will find food. Living organic is trying to reproduce nature and so there is no need for the plant's roots to gather at the bottom of the pot. Although it could have potentially provided the plant access to a larger amount of water and possibly more oxygenation of the pot. Those are all theories, please speak up if you have other proofs. In conclusion , unless i get proven otherwise by someone or my latest running experiment , I will not be using hempies again as I believe it brings more complication and issues than a simple fabric pot. The lights, The 600w at the start was good, then I decided to add a 400w...😂 That was completely overkill and not necessary. Waste of electricity. And they started suffering from too much light it seems at some point, I raised the light by a good 30 cm and they were fine. 600 is more than enough. I am happy about how the soil performed but it has room for improvements. As for the watering technique I have been watering large ammount every few days, next time I will be giving constant small amount of water each day and a soak every week or so, I believe the soil might perform better under those conditions. She was also an easy plant to harvest whit her long colas which had very little foliage, I do trim in excess as I like my buds extra clean but the buds are not excessively bushy. The trims were use to make some bubble hash, around 100g of wet trims yielded around 1.5-2g of bubble hash. I did add a negative effect but only because it wouldn't give me a smile otherwise, but to be honnest it barely dries your mouth. The soil is going to be recycled and reused in a next grow. I can't think of anything else at the moment but if you have any question don't hesitate.

Wenn es soweit ist gebe ich euch bescheid wenn ich Samen und Setup bei mir stehen. So jetzt aufs eigentliche zurück. Ich habe heute erst mal mein Setup geprüft und so gut wie möglich desinfiziert. Es ist verdammt wichtig das nach jedem Durchgang sauber gemacht wird also zb Zeltwände, Boden, Topfe, Boxen, Wasserbehälter. Habe ich gemacht und habe meine ersten Samen in Anzucht Erde gesetzt, befeuchtet, markieren und in die Box. Wände und Deckel mit zersteuber befeuchten und ab unter die Lampe. WICHTIG MACH DIE ERDE NICHT SO NASS ! DAS GEFÄLLT IHNEN NICHT SONDERN HALTE SIE AM BESTEN FEUCHT IN DEM DU ABEND / MORGEN EIN BISCHEN WÄSSERST! ICH STELLE DIE LAMPE AUF CA 40 cm zum Boden ein bzw der Box. Ein gewisser abstand muss sein um die Fläche komplett zu Beleuchten. Da meine Lampe dimmbar ist muss sie nicht ganz oben hängeng sondern Kann näher an die Pflanzen ran und Stelle den Dimmer auf 20 %. Das reicht anfangs in dem Stadium völlig aus, muss aber dann später angepasst bzw hoch geschraubt werden! Lüfter I läuft 24/7 und sorgt für optimale Bedinungen! It's all happening. Buds are thickening out really nicely. The only downside is that I haven't anticipated how tall haze grows. I've had to do a bit of LST on my largest top bud to keep it away from the light....it has grown about 5cm from the lamp, so i've trained it back down to 10cm under the lamp. Next time I need 2 ScROG nets - The first needs to sit about 15cm from the base of the pot, with constant training in the weeks 1-3 to get the plant growing right to the edge of the tent. The second will be added in week 5-6 about 40cm from the base of the pot - when the plants meet the second net I'll then train the top buds inwards towards the centre of the net. I am also DEFINITELY defoliating properly next time - all the lower branches have died off and I'd like all that energy to be directed towards the flowers. Has to be the last job before I flip my lights.

Buds have really shot out since I last checked them smells like lemon and sweets with a subtle sour to it smells unreal can't wait for this to be done
