Week 6 is a short one. Humidity is high as shit but I've just ordered a dehumidifier. VPD sadly is only at about 0.8 mPa during the Day and wayy lower at night.

Plants with more direct UV showed much more purple across all 3 plants. The data shows that the number of terpenes in dried Cannabis flowers increases with a “No Red” light treatment for the final three days of production. Based upon these findings, we feel confident in recommending a spectrum control program that eliminates red light output from fixtures for the final 72 hours of the Cannabis flowering cycle. Terpenes are aromatic compounds that give cannabis some of its most distinct aromas from citrus and berry, to more earthy tones. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Emission of terpenes is a process that is entirely dependent upon phytochromes and red/far-red light cues in most plant species (Flores and Doskey, 2015). For example, repeated light/dark phytochrome signaling is necessary for the emission of terpenes in tobacco plants (Roeder et al., 2007). Based on previous findings, we hypothesized that a lack of red light and phytochrome-mediated light/dark signaling on the part of the plant is responsible for an increase in terpene content in cannabis. The plant continues to synthesize terpenes, but a lack of red light to trigger the Pr-Pfr shift results in a lack of terpene emission by the plant, thus causing the terpenes to accumulate in the maturing flowers. It has been found that sound waves were at different frequencies, sound pressure levels (SPLs), exposure periods, and distances from the source of sound influence plant growth. Experiments have been conducted in the open field and under greenhouse growing conditions with different levels of audible sound frequencies and sound pressure levels. Sound waves at 1 kHz and 100 dB for 1 h within a distance of 0.20 m could significantly promote the division and cell wall fluidity of callus cells and also significantly enhance the activity of protective enzymes and endogenous hormones. Sound waves stimulation could increase the plant plasma-membrane H+-ATPase activity, the contents of soluble sugar, soluble protein, and amylase activity of callus. Moreover, sound waves could increase the content of RNA and the level of transcription. Stress-induced genes could switch on under sound stimulation. Sound waves at 0.1–1 kHz and SPL of (70±5) dB for 3 h from plant acoustic frequency technology (PAFT) generator within a distance ranged from 30 to 60 m every other day significantly increased the yield of sweet pepper, cucumber and tomato by 30.05, 37.1 and 13.2%, respectively. Furthermore, the yield of lettuce, spinach, cotton, rice, and wheat were increased by 19.6, 22.7, 11.4, 5.7, and 17.0%, respectively. Sound waves may also strengthen plant immune systems. It has been proved that spider mite, aphids, gray mold, late blight and virus disease of tomatoes in the greenhouses decreased by 6.0, 8.0, 9.0, 11.0, and 8.0%, respectively, and the sheath blight of rice was reduced by 50%. Got these transplanted to the rain science 3 gal bags and moved to a 4x4 in the basement where it's a little better environment in terms of vpd. I had a full bag of roots organic soil so I decided to do a soil/coco blend like I did with the current autoflower crop. I also topped every single one of em mid week. Once I get the flower tent all cleaned out and everything I'll be throwing these in there for bloom. Hoping this will be an even better grow than the last since I have both my arms back. I'm doing the update a little early since I was late on it last week, today (tuesday 9.10.19) is day 43 from germination and about day 39 from full sprout. Before this week they were under only about 185w in a 4x4 area so it's been slow growth so far. The hulkberry is doing great it's one of the most rapid growing and overall healthiest plants in the crop.

So clones are hopefully nearly ready to form roots to allow me to put into their final pots! The main I put into the garden has started thriving, I knew she would as the soil she was in is very dense and holds water for longer of which I hate so once it got to root out it started to grow immediately stronger and bigger even after the whole trim down!

This lady has been Transplanted after 34 days since planted on may 5th, she's gonna be grown with FLO Living soil blend only, sorry for not having more pictures of this week but I had too many things to do and couldn't find time, stay tuned everybody!!

About 3weeks left.. No problems after Nitrogen and some P deficiencies.. As a new grower best things I have picked up is not be afraid to make mistakes do tons of research and testing nutrients on a separate dummy plant, have fun patience and learn everyday.

Ah nothing like a good stretch, Week 2 of flower after the massive transition feeding of 1800 ppm and no sign of nutrient burn so the media and nuites seem to be a winner. In the last feeding I doubled the watering, the second half was just water PH'ed to 6 for two reasons, dilute the 1800 ppm and to promote a deep watering for the roots. I let them dry out till the fan leaves started to wilt on one of the Strawberry Ice and after a deep watering of just water again this week they bounced back. I wanted to make sure the food from the last feeding is used up and also a mini flush before the next feeding for the flowering stage. I am going to go higher with the P & K % on top of recommended chart feeding. I want to play around with the numbers as a lot of growers have their own special sauce recipe. Based on these two strains they look pretty healthy, next week will be a lollipop on the bottom 1/3 to the canopy. as to promote air flow and stretch they are getting pretty thick and bushy still tucking the stems to fill out the scrog completely. The one BLUE DREAM HAZE is a different phenom by the look of it lets see how it turns out its a little shorter than her sisters, Please ;eave a comment good or bad I love to hear from you folks. TTFN

Here we are this girl is flowering fast. So I do not think this is purple haze unless it is the fast flowering version.But even then, I don't think it is based off of other characteristics... So I legit have a mystery plant on my hands.. I will say she's getting frosty. It's super super early yet, and she's already frosting up, so I am happy about that.. I hope everyone is doing well.. Shout out to Herbies Seeds idk what this is but it looks like.It's gonna be good either way.. God bless him happy growing ✌️

First week of veg, after two weeks of seedling growth. Light schedule: 24 hrs Nutrients: Nitrogen (bokashi), small quantities of potassium and phosphorus in marine algae. First transplant into: 2 lt and 1.5 lt pots

Everything was fine until I seen what appeared to be nutrient burn starting. The tips were getting slightly burnt. So last week I stopped nutrients and gave plain RO water with SLF100 and Herculean harvest to break up whatever was causing the burn. I then gave it a light feeding and then fed again with just plain water and SLF100 with Herculean harvest. So flush feed flush is what I did. Well now I have a bigger problem. My bottoms are all turning yellow. No brown spots, no curling. Just going yellow. I have already gave them a huge feed today. They got everything in my Nectar Line up plus BioBiz Alg a Mic and roots Organics teas as a top dress. Doing this I plan on fixing the Nitrogen deficiency and Potassium deficiency. Of course I’m not 100% sure that’s what the problem is but I’m pretty damn sure. My PH and PPM are solid and on point so there is only so many things it could be from that point. Plants aren’t hot. They aren’t cold. Humidity is spot on. More than enough light. Not over fed or over watered. I’m hoping things will bounce back really soon cause I’m not too happy with myself right now.

already harvested the big headbud, because its very wet outside in the moment and i dont want my headbuds to rot. The deeper flowers of the plant look like they need a little bid longer. they are smaller, so the chance of bud rot is lower. to dry them the box is standing in the cellar with around 20 degrees, but definitely to wet there as well :D sorry for the bad pics, got a problem with my cam. Update: after 5 more days I harvested the rest. I am curious to see how much it will be after drying Summary: ztrawberriez and zkittelz were a blast for our 1st time outdoor grow, about 25g each dried and trimmed. Gorilla Punch had a problem with bud rot because she only produced one big cola. So there were only about 10g from that purple gorilla punch

Had no time for the harvest so i took the risk and let her grow, under a rain cover. Im surprised that i didnt spot any bud rot! Removed fan leaves for better airflow. The weather makes it hard for her to fatten up, so i will give her one more week to finish up. Shes super frosty and has such an amazing smell. I did harvest 3 small branches that are drying and curing right now, looking forward to the smoke test.

Orion F1 Liquid Nutrients: The seedling is looking fairly unhappy. I will keep an eye on it. The plant has been given its first dose of Mega Crop Part B to introduce some more nitrogen, hopefully she will begin to grow some more and start greening up. The plant was watered when the pot was dried, to avoid mould and root issues. 8.5.25: The plant was watered with 1ltr of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.0. I added per litre; ♡ 1/4 TSP Mega Crop Part B ♡ 1ml Trace PPM: 656 PH: 6.0. ☆ Xpert Nutrients PH down, up to 1ml. ☆ Ecothrive Neutralise 1 drop per litre from the 1ml pipette, which is attached. Everything is filling up the canopy nicely so I flipped to flower (10/19/18) so they don’t get to out of control during the first couple weeks as they like to stretch. Will be doing a slight Lollipopping in the next day or 2 and will have to add a second layer of trellis either this week or next.

I'm trying to bend the plant to the right, but the stem is very thick and powerful, and I'm afraid of breaking it, so I'm letting it grow at almost 45 degrees
