After a hard week, you can finally see the effects of my efforts, if you look at the photo of my girl from day 43 and you compare it with 45, you can see the differences in the color of the leaves. The new set of fertilizers works and my darling seems to be happy, let it be like that all the time without any problems :) This is the first time that I am growing a photopyriodic girl, after changing the light cycle to 12/12 you can finally see her reactions. I am excited and waiting for the situation to develop 😍 By the way, she drinks 1.25 liters a day, 5 liters in 4 days. If I drank as much as she did, I wouldn't have liver anymore All The Best, You Lovely Girls Growers :D

Well this little tester has out grown her sisters by quite alot in its development , she is much larger and bigger leaves than the others and looks like she is really reaching for the stars and has had nothing more than fresh water until this week

Here’s a deep dive into this exciting and educational week: The “Flush” in Full Swing The flush continues as we prepare the ladies for their final days. While we’re a week or so away from harvest, the plants are responding beautifully, showcasing stunning fades that highlight their unique genetics. This fading process is a critical part of the journey, helping the plants naturally finish their cycle while preserving those complex terpene profiles we all love. The Mold Incident: A Teachable Moment This week brought a challenge—a few buds succumbed to bud rot (Botrytis), particularly on the Papaya Zoap and a single bud from the Gorilla Melon. While disheartening, it’s a reminder that mold can occur even in the most well-maintained gardens, especially with dense colas and a full canopy. After a thorough inspection, all affected buds were removed and discarded to prevent the spread. A quick note to all growers: defoliation plays a massive role in airflow and prevention of such issues. This is why mid-flower defoliation is a game-changer, and I’m grateful it kept the rest of the garden healthy! Papaya Zoap’s Unique Quirks The Papaya Zoap continues to be a star of the show with its frosty buds and… albino tips! These tiny white tips are likely from being too close to the lights. While it’s a cosmetic detail that doesn’t affect quality, it’s a fascinating display of how genetics and environment interact. A Frost-Filled Wonderland The room is absolutely glistening with frost. Trichomes are piling up like snow, giving the entire garden a magical wintery appearance. I genuinely believe the ThinkGrow LEDs and TrolMaster spectrum control deserve a shoutout here. Running deep red, far red, and UV at 100%, combined with whites at 50%, is delivering incredible results. Sorry about the extended updates. Coronavirus has took a toll, and as an essential worker I’ve had to step up to the plate. Plants are doing fine. Much has been learned from this grow, so if any questions be free to ask.

Watering her daily! Super frosty nugs! Happy with this little ladies result! She’s doing great all things considered about the 8.5 oz can she is in!

Whelp figured out my PH meter was not reading correctly which means I was not balancing the PH of my water correctly....that being said I had been using RO water that *read* it was testing around 7.0, so I was using PH down to 6.5 5/27 - Decided to top the plant. Again with this being my first grow, this was slightly nerve-racking 5/28 - Seems I didn't mess up the top chop, woooh! I tested the PH of my soil today(5.6), if that even tells me anything(I find 2 articles that say it doesn't and another 2 that say the opposite...so that's magical) and ended up just buying a few gallons of distilled water from the store since I didn't want to be running my RO system for my plant and the others in my house.(made sense in my head at the time) Fed a dose of nutrients in the feeding tonight. I believe I was underwatering my plant. 5/29 Forgot to take a picture because I thought I might have overfed the nutes, on the night before.., So I spent the night researching info and trying to figure out if that was the case and how to correct it. But again since I am new to this, I have no clue lol. It also seems I had bumped up the light power from 50% to 100% some how the night before. Ended up dropping it down to 70% power. 5/30 I took the photo, then tied down the main stem. worries of overfeeding have subsided for now... 6/1 Looking extra bushy today. Holding off on defoliation, unless someone tells me otherwise. I am trying to hold off for a few days on doing anything more that could stress out my plant.

Hi Growmies! They ladies are doing good. They stopped taking up nutes and are getting milky trychoms. So I reduce light by an hour. Still no problems so I'm very pleased with the genetics provided by Barney's Farm. No herming ,very nice smell.
