Day 10 I started to use the easy plus supplied by RQS, have noticed in the past few days that my intelligent fan doesn’t seem to be turning off in auto on the settings I have pre-installed, I did do a full tent move about on day 11 so I maybe could of done something then? hope this doesn’t turn into a long term issue, however fat banana is starting to grow nicely 🌱👍 I have a 2x2x5 spider farmer tent with 1 passive inlet vent that is always a 1/4 open My spider farmer intelligent fan is set at 80f and rh @ 60 for veg, I have a 6” fan that was set to go off every 30 minutes for 30 minutes on the hour during daylight hours and once for 30 mins every 90 mins during dark hours, that has changed slowly during the week to a point where yesterday I turned on constant during daylight hours and still at 30 mins every 2 hrs during the night and I am still using the personal mist humidifier that keeps the rh at a nice level anyway during this stage… My Viparspectra xs1500 was set at 22” at the beginning of the week at 60% this has changed throughout the week and is now set at 19” and around 87% My feeding pattern has been feed/water/dry day…repeat at 250ml Lights on 8am Lights off 2am Water/feed time 8:30am/9:30am *update 29th April: I have stopped using the Biobizz products in this grow, after properly reading up on all RQS products supplied and realising I’ve already mixed the easy boost pellets in the soil I’ve no need to use these products…hopefully this hasn’t affected my grow thus far, I don’t see any deficiencies as yet and don’t seem to be in a bad shape, she’s actually the tallest plant so far I’ve had in this stage 🤞

We are at that critical point where timing comes into play. BB reversal is like 5 weeks in. Fem donors to be pollinated went in feb 16 and 20.. did two rounds to make sure something worked. Reversed BB is just full of male pollen sacs, they are beginning to open up and show bananas. There’s a point between when they open up naturally and when that pollen is easily used, and it’s a couple days at least. So if I pull a opened sac off now, try to open the bananas it’s somewhat difficult and often not much pollen in there... it’s just not quite ready. In a few days I’ll grab one and it’ll just like turn to dust damn near when I apply any force to it. That’s the time to start really trying to pollinate. You can see tho, I got several pulled off and opened up and placed right on top of fem flowers. We’re almost there! Now let’s just hope the couple fems I got going in another room don’t get much of this from it.. I got a couple in week 2-4 right now that would definitely be ripe for pollination. I harvested her today, the trichomes were to my liking. She is STINKY, she is definatly taking after her diesel heritage, granted, she does have a super fruity tropical smell. She developed some purple tinges to the calix with the lights out temp in the 60's. Super starchy, and lanky. She needed support 3 weeks into flower. The buds are fat and solid. There was some foxtailing at the end, but its expected. She is super frosty and I'm happy with the outcome thus far. I'm trying out whole plant hang drying instead of individual branch hanging. Definatly saving me some time.

So far on my strain hunt I'm gonna retire the mango and headband (cause I've had these genetics for a year) the enemy's dream because it's small and I didnt take clones in time and I'm on the fence about the Skywalker so ill wait til I give it one more shot indoors and once outside. And I'm on the fence about the white widow since I've had it before. Gotta make some hard choices especially if I get that order in to seedsman before the sale ends. Next grow will be: Alaskan Purple Gelato og Do-si-Do Bruce Banger Runts Skywalker og White Widow Amnesia Haze Followed by the same strains outdoor. I'm thinkn about ordering seedsman 3 new 420 strains and sum moonbow or moonboots any thoughts?

Really bent , clipped and tied the MAC x Purple Punch this week , try and get a nice shape. Of the 3 Rado Z 2 are bushy and shorter and fatty favourite taller and stronger. Got the Lumatek Attis 300w on 60% and around 30 cm above the tallest plant . Just water as the soil is premixed. The autopots have been plumbed in today , also added some acoustic hose to the extractor to reduce noise

New week, new growth. So we have done another defoliation to allow the lower shoots to be exposed to the lights which equal to a better yield come flower time, they always need a day or 2 recover after being put under any stress, especially if its an extreme amount of leaves being taken off. They were also lollipoped to clear up and messy under growth and to improve airflow under the canopy. I also took clones from each of these. Paying close attention to the EC and pH. Increasing and decreasing as and when I need to going off what the plants show me. Close to flower now. A few days to go! Day 50 and the plant seems to be growing healthy even though it's not stretching much my understanding is that this type of strain it is slow-growing type and require more of vegetable time than others plants flower seems to be developing fine but because there is a large difference in height between this girls and the other girls of my tent I had to introduce a regular light bulbs in there to try to address this not sure how is going to turn out but definitely I need more light in there and with the shut down everywhere not many places to Source out new equipment so have to do new ways to make it happen. Day 52 the plant seems to be responding well to the light bulb as well I how to do a little bit of defoliation to try to promote more light in there it is a very bushy plant. I have started flushing with pH-adjusted Flawless Finish solution, expecting to harvest somewhere around the end of this week, although I will continue monitoring pistils and trichs. Upd: Added back 50% base nutrients and some flowering additives after researching some of the first responses to my flushing question. I learn every day. Even that which was scientifically proven true one day, might be even more scientifically proven absolutely false some time later (not related to flushing specifically). Thank you kings! Upd 2: Okay okay I cooked her with some cosmic rays or whatever those Chinese quantum bars emit — purple rays, I'll call it — that's on me. Turned them 30% down to see what's up. Light burn was not on my mind, because otherwise the leaves were not really curving that much, considering that this is 3 weeks overdue wrt advertised. Sorry about that, did not pay enough attention.

Start of week 6. Week 5 went well. The blueberry plant also got an extra 2 liters of feed and it helped, she did got droop and the leaves did not die-off as much as they did the previous week's. She doesn't have as strong a smell as the OG Kush, but she's twice as sticky to th touch and she's got a shit load of bud sites filling in nicely!
