Really surprised with how everyone turned out! Everyone is starting to flower but Kayla definitely got the lead in terms of pistils and bud sites. These ladies still need to be LST every other day. Looking forward to an early harvest!

Good week, did quite a bit of defoliation, the main cola is getting bigger but I was hoping to see more growth on the other bud sites. Watering with a ph of between 6.2-6.8 from the top and the bottom without any run off about every 48 hours or whenever the top inch of soil is dry. This is my first grow and I would say it’s already a success, but I do hope the buds get bigger in the next couple of weeks. Would love to get 30g or more from this plant but I don’t really know.

July 5: Lemon Cream Kush seems to be doing fine. The canopy is more or less even. There are four small growth tips that I'm trying to get exposed to sunlight but all the other ones are exposed and doing fine. July 8: added Power Bloom and barley as a top dressing. July 10: looking pretty good and fairly rebalanced and recovered after I damaged one of the main stems a couple weeks ago.

Not as many photos these past few weeks because this and harvest are the most non-eventful. However, I can add that this variety of cannabis is EXTREMELY robust and vibrant despite light, nutrient and medium constraints! I get why growth is slowing; I've introduced far-red for EOD and BOD 15 minute regiments and I'm slowly decreasing light lengths instead of flipping(I don't want to stress out other plants in room). This is fine with me as not only this plant outgrown its area horizontally, I have roughly 20% vertical space remaining which should work out with flowering stretch. I didn't want to put flowering in this weeks journal despite obvious maturity(pistils are kool-aide red), the transition is slow but the past 3 days have been slow-er than past month. Lots of very lime green new growth which I've associated with a tad bit of light bleaching but actual leaves themselves show no signs of anything, I go back to when this plant was weeks old...it was very lime green then too so Boron, Molybdenum and Magnesium issues are out of the window. Same with iron. This plant is just fine but could use some UVa baths to pull out those phenotypical traits, a couple more days and my custom built board will be added to this room for 6hr increments. Otherwise, all is good. I could transplant but it's not showing it's rootbound. I could also raise my lights, I probably will tonight even though I've grown other plants 1" away with zero burn(around the led edges). I also have been feeding with McCormick(must be an old-school midwest thing) Strawberry Extract and as usual been seeing the plant respond, especially with "oops, too much" moments when using the blackstrap molasses! This micro area has a very humid(despite 45%Rh), dank, floral smell and when doing the rub test; this plant has a very fruity pungency to it. I like using molasses all the way through as when buds are harvested are much more dense, stay humid longer and have much more sugary kief. Rambling. Next week will have the 365nm UV, the results will blow your mind! Until then. Couldn't figure out the extreme lime green new growth despite almost perfect growing conditions all around, concluded light bleaching but never thought N or Iron deficiency. After transplanting, roots were pearl white, no rotting spots and very little soil showing. Good thing I amended heavily with 5-3-3 and 4-15-12 dry amendments and that blood meal I bought weeks back...3 days later the darker green is coming back! Lots of growth and it has a very distinct strawberry candy aromas when watered and when surrounding air is humid. I have also stopped using my 150w ceramic heater, temps hover 76°F to 80°F day and stay constant 66-68° nights. This plant has almost ideal growing conditions and you can see it's now focusing energy to forming sturdy bud sites. 2 more weeks until full blown flower 12/12 cycle but I cannot wait for this heatsink to get here for this UV light I've sourced. Pre flower stretch initiated, pre flower female sex pistils forming 😍 Day 39 08/08/24 Thursday Feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with Plagron PK13-14. Showing her pre stretch 😍 Day 41 10/08/24 Saturday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 today again with calmag. 400ml with run off now. Transplanted into the 3 gallon medical buckets from thebucketcompany. Everything still going smoothly. Plants are happy under the gavita at 40% power and 50 inches above the top of the plants.

Start of Week 11 - Day 71 07/12: It seems as if Annie’s stretch is slowing down. She’s now at about 30” tall and she has a lot of colas poking out from her base. Aaliyah and Alexis have stopped their height at 34”. Alexis’s buds are starting to get bigger. The buds in Aaliyah’s main cola are starting to connect and are also getting bigger. Aaliyah’s bigger buds are also getting coated in trichomes. The smell is still pretty minimal. Based on the visual changes it appears that Alexis is about a week behind Aaliyah and Annie is about three weeks behind Aaliyah. Since this is my first grow I’m not too sure on harvesting time, but I’d say Aaliyah will be ready first and she still has a few weeks left in her. They are losing some leaves closer to the base, but they are looking amazing overall. It’s hard to believe it’s been 70 days since I put the seeds in water. Time really flies. 07/16: Playing the waiting game and it isn’t easy, but it will be worth it. The ladies are at different stages of flowering, so I’ve decided that next week I’m going to start giving them different doses of nutrients.

De nuevo, actualizamos semana, me da que será última semana de crecimiento, y pronto abonaré para floración, en la quinta semana deberían estar tirando pelos ,mostrando su preflor y su sexo. Temperatura y humedad controlada, ph siempre regulado esta semana aportamos el resto de la gama Gold para entrar en floración en breves. Vemos que estos productos pro el momento hacen más que su función. Misty gorilla automatic se está comportando bien en interior, justo en que muestre su sexo ataré puntas y empezaremos LST. I purchased a pack of 3 seeds, and one of them didn't germinate. I must admit this is discouraging, and I believe reputable seed banks should address this by providing guarantees to us growers. I'm not wealthy, and when a seed doesn't germinate, it feels like I'm wasting money. Regarding the fertilizers, they come in powder form, but I didn't see the option to measure in grams, so I used milliliters instead. The iron supplements I use are effective; I even found it strange not to have Plant Prod around here. It's a very affordable Canadian fertilizer that delivers good results. Many brands don't want you to know about this fertilizer. Look it up and let me know what you think.
