Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. Day 30-had some electricity problems for 12hours so put them front of the window so they had some little daylight without sun :( guess this will not be so big problem since is autoflower. I hope... Day 31- i freaking love how they explode... they grow like 3+cm every day :) and biggest plant is lke 6cm every day lol... i belive they are now full in flowering stage cus alot pistals comming out ! Oney like 40 more days till harvest jeeeej :p Day 32- saw some brown spots on leafs i foud out is calcium deficiency,so i made calcium from egg shells..i boiled for 20min then baked for 10min and mixed in fine powder (1g/350mg) calcium and add 0.1g/l into wather ...also did some extra LST... Day 33- Some flowers hight info ... biggest plant is now 62cm then 52cm,39cm,37cm,35cm......they are in diffrent size of pot so i expected something like that.... well 50cm plant is in smallest pot,alot higher but 2main colas and alot less side stems then others plants(also made pic week 5) Day 34- I was looking and thinking and i noticated if plants keep growing like this i will have to make tent bigger so i going to make width and length of tent bigger for 20cm, from 100=120...biggest plant is alredy 65cm so i start bend her down slowly so doesn go to close to light....also i raised small plants so they are all olmost the same height. Owerall all is good did tons of LST little bit deformatiation and had little bit of calcium/deficienty also alredy made tent bigger so looks all good now :) !!!till next week!! Goodbye :)

Today, august 4, i flush the lemons because i see some ambar trichomes but now i think that it wasn't enough because the others doesn't look cloudy, so i keep feeding them. The pictures are from the lemons and was taken with a wifi digital microscope that i bought in Amazon. August 8, second time with potasic soap (i know that i have to clean/wash the buds, if you have any suggestion, do it please 😊) August 9 flushing all the plants, except the tallest one (one of the syrups). How you can see on the video, the TGL 60 is over she. August 10 little defoliation.

Stretch is done - I hope - Strawberry Cough is almost touching the light - Mimozz is not far behind. I need to move the light up even more. That is first time I did not ScrOG them right after flip - and so far I regret it - but we'll see - maybe I'll harvest more than usually and will not use scrog any more... who knows !? All are in full flowering mode now - stacking nodes on nodes, producing pistills and forming flowers. One month to go 💪

My oldest girl had her flush this week and its about time for her to finish up. I will continue the journal for my 2nd oldest so stay tuned!

So... It's that time again, I was planning on keeping her going for another 11 days but the trichomes are telling me differently, they are around 10% amber, with 70% cloudy and 20% clear. Personally, I like slightly speedy highs, and not such a fan of couch lock. So, she will be chopped in 4 days time (D121 - F74). I have cut back the nutrients, water is around 500ppm now, leaves on the top of the canopy are yellowing. The pistols have turned a pinky brown, and there is a real difference in smell these past few days, proper heavy dank smell. I will be swapping out the water for a final flush on D118 - F71. She will be in the dark for for the last 48 hours and temps will stay at 16ºc. She will be wet trimmed, a cola at a time, and then hung in my grow room in the dark at 55% RH and approx 14 - 16ºc. I will post one last flowering week once she is hung up in 6 days time or so, and then will post harvest details once she's dry enough to go into jars. Happy growing all!

Starting this diary to participate in the Tent-X Ultimate Grow Challenge. Using 10x strawberry cookies from super sativa seeds club We are growing with 7 liter pots in light mix using biogrow and biobloom ase base nutrients from greenhouse feeding + addictives from Xpert nutrients. Light by marshydro and of course the control panel from Tent-X Trolmaster We germinated the 15th of January and the small little plants popped in some days, being totally formed as seedling the 20th more or less. Week 1 of veg started the 20th!

Start of week 2 flowering:) loving the structure like a little Bush! Moved her into the back under 1 3500 autocob :) all smiles people really happy the way she's coming along ! Ladybugs were introduced to help with my thrips issue huge differences :) Some updated shots !! Almost start of week 3 of flowering !
