Week 2 7/26- All the girl's are doing great. I had to use some horticulture wire to prop up a couple of the girls that got a little 'top heavy'. Giving 12oz water ph'd to 6.3-6.5 as needed 2 hours after 'lights on' around each plant, and every other day in the saucers (1/4g/ea) to allow the medium to wick it up and stay moist. Temp's running 72-81deg with an average RH of 55-60%. I'd like to have the RH a bit higher but the girl's seem to be doing fine at the present. 😎Ordered another HLG 650R with the supplemental UV Bar to replace the two SunSystems 315 CMH's....should be a game changer! 💪 Also have an AC Infinity 6" exhaust system w/controller on the way to replace the Hurricane 400cfm fan I'm currently running along with another TerraBloom 6'x24" carbon filter as my current filter is losing efficiency. 7/27- Watered today ph'd to 6.4 with 2 tbsp/gallon unsulfured molasses added. I split 2 1/2g between the eight girls by pouring 12oz around each plant and then dividing the rest in their saucers to be wicked up. Temp's, RH and CO2 all on point! 7/28- Light watering today with straight non-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.5. Growth is looking great across the board. Even the late starters, Seedsman Zkittles #1 & #2, are coming along nicely! All the ladies are averaging in height between 2 1/2' - 3 1/2" and should be getting ready to explode as their root systems become more established and are able to start taking in more nutrients. Fans are running 24/7 to strengthen the stalks....they're gonna need it to support the buds these ladies will be sporting in a couple months! 7-29- Watered all through the bottom today with straight .5g non-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.3. Temp's, RH, CO2 and VPD all on point. Unhooked carbon filter from hose as it's losing efficiency restricting exhaust air flow. Girl's all growing STRONG especially the #1 Seedsman Gelato OG in Fox Farm/Nature's Living Soil mix and the FastBuds Purple Lemonade #2 also in the Fox Farms/Nature's Living Soil mix with the Seedsman Gelato OG #2 in SOHUM soil is getting close. I appears the two girl's in SOHUM soil are not quite as tall as the others but are leafing out well and are stocky with close node spacing.....hmmm? 7/30- Lift checked all the pots and gave 2 1/2g straight non-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.4 with 2 tbsp of unsulfured molasses added. I split the 2 1/2g evenly between all eight giving 20oz through the top and the remainder in the pans to be wicked up. I turned up the HLG 650R to 400w at the wall and kept the height the same. My AC Infinity Cloudline T6 exhaust and new Terrabloom 6x24" carbon filter came today, as did the UV bar from HLG for the HLG 650R that'll be here on the 3rd.....CAN'T WAIT!!! All the girl's are really doing well and starting to begin 'gettin it on'! All are healthy and running between 3-4" tall. Side note: While installing the new exhaust fan setup on of my pooches sneaked in the room and munched off a half of a shade leaf on the #1 Purple Lemonade....she's definitely got good taste!😆 In the process of installing the AC Infinity fan I relocated it and the filter to the left side of the tent and re-routed the cold air intake hoses so that both enter the tent at the bottom and are positioned at either side of the tent. I setup the AC Infinity which is a breeze, set all my high/low limits and alarms and let here run! Temperatures now are running 72-81 deg. and RH is remaining stable @ 55%, CO2@800ppm. All in all a good day!😎👍 7/31- Water looks good on all the girls. I'll just top water lightly today with straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.5. The AC Infinity is really a 'game changer' as temp's are now staying in a stable range without having to adjust the settings on my Ideal Air 14k BTU AC unit...niceee! All my ladies are finishing up their second week like champs and I'm looking forward to the next few weeks as when their root systems reach the 'super-soil' they are going to hopefully have some explosive growth. I'll also be evaluating all of them in the coming week to determine candidates for topping and LST to begin. 8/1- The second HLG 650R came today! I tidied up the tent before installing the 650R: moved EXHALE CO2 bags-one on each side, vacuumed, took care of any loose hanger cords and re-positioned the three thermometers/hygrometers. I installed the second HLG 650R w/UV bar in the tent and set both lights to 400w @ the wall and have both boards centered, level and hung @ 36" from the soil. These lights are AWESOME! I checked temp's on the boards & drivers after they were running for 4 hours: 98deg on the drivers and 94deg on the board...pretty freakin sweeet! Gave the girl's a day off from water as they all looked GTG and are all getting ready to really turn on! I plan on hitting them early tomorrow morning with a good watering. Temp's-RH-VPD all on point for this week. I've been continuing to run the humidifier set @ 60% RH and I'm going so far as to ph the water going into it to see if it makes a difference as my well water runs 7.8ph @225ppm dissolved solids and I hypothesized that as the plants were absorbing the moisture from the air it might be beneficial to have that moisture at the correct ph.....we'll see I guess!

D-70 : At this stage, I'm a bit.... surprised that the Desfrans are not taller thant they are. The smallest one is 35cm wich is really small for a 100% sativa strain. The tallest one is about 56cm, wich is also quiet small I think. If I compare with some other diaries, the tallest one could be in the target if we take into account that I trained them a lot during their first weeks. But the small one is almost the half she should be... There's no sign of deficency, none ! I have 420w @ 50 cm from the top, so it's not because of the light. The container is a 20L smartpot. I simply do not understand. Is it juste because of that phenotype ? Will she grow during the next 7-9 weeks untill she'll recover her late ? I Modified a bit the position of the light so the Lumatek 100w FullSpectrum on the side of the box is really pointed to the "slow" girls. We'll see if it change anything but I really doubt about it... The only lead I have is : Desfran loves HEAT and Light. The 2 smallest are on the coldest side of the box, even if it's not cold at all. But it is the side near the window...

What up grow fam. Week 3 up on these girls. At the moment they're a little upset with me. I went away for a few days so I over watered hoping they'd be alive when I return. They're still alive but sure upset and showing it. I did a defoliation taking the bigger fan leafs off to allow some more light to the lower branches. Also I don't usually put them under full power of my light until about week 5 but I did to see how they'd do and though they're stacking super tight, I think I probably did more harm then good. I'll baby them and see if they'll bounce back. All in all Happy Growing

Harvest time for Green Crack! Another successful run of this strain! While she is a bit nutrient hungry, she's been a pleasure to grow. Mars-Hydro TSW2000 killed it with this plant & grow, definitely happy with the performance of the light! Will update in 7-10 days with dry weight. Here we are again ready to start again, always under the sign of Zamnesia, we make our fantastic plants and we show you what we are capable of. We have 5 autoflowering strains and 5 photoperiodic ones and now we present them to you. The second autoflowering that we present to you is the Black Orchid Autoflowering. This was advised and recommended to us directly by the Zamnesia elves and we are sure that they are keen to send us refinements, we have seen some super beautiful photos of this strain. Guys, black is black as a style of beauty for me it is unbeatable. To explain my germination method which is a combination of experiences acquired in the field and readings of the right advisors, I have chosen to divide it into phases so that those who want can follow them and understand better step by step. - Preparatory Phase ---- Check the average temperature in the room, humidity status to understand if it is the case to start or wait, I decided for the end of August because the temperatures start to drop towards the 22-25 degrees recommended for germination. Then another thing more or less credible depending on the sensitivity is the control of the lunar phases. I believe in it a lot, it is a method that ancient farmers used to understand when it was best to plant depending on the attraction of the moon. To make my life easier I use a simple app that advises you on the right time to plant, harvest and put in the jar (depending on the lunar phases). - Phase 1 --- Soaking in water. There are many authoritative friends who advise against this method due to the risk of drowning, but I have always been fine and I follow the rule if it opens in water the seed is almost certainly healthy and will come out of the ground 90% normally. - Phase 2 --- Opening the seed in water. As soon as the seed opens and the root comes out a little, you have to be very very careful not to leave the seed in the water open for too long. This is why there is a risk of drowning. So as soon as the root comes out, it must be planted. Do not wait for it to stretch out a lot, you can wait a little longer in the absorbent paper, but not in water. - Phase 3 --- In the meantime, while I soaked the seeds, I prepared my pots: I use small biodegradable pots (choose the ones with holes underneath for drainage). A few hours before working with the opened seeds, I moistened the soil with water adjusted to the right pH (5.8 - 6.2) and Plagron Power Roots. The small root is now open and we can make a little hole with a toothpick, widen it and insert the seed. Not too deep with the root facing downwards. From Serious Seeds we learned the dome technique: if you put a small dome of soil on the seed the water will settle on the sides avoiding overwatering problems. - Phase 4 --- The plant emerges from the soil. So far I have not put the light, now I turn it on at minimum after half a day of soil to give direction to the seedlings. The first week the light will be gradually brought from 40% to 60% to go to 70% - 75% in the remaining weeks of veg. During the first week maximum, I keep the cycle of 24 hours to avoid stretching. Plucked a few leaves that were looking at me funny ;) Not much to do! Smells of sweet berries, after a fresh rainfall.. Smells amazing! Watered with 2.5 gallons of the above listed nutrients, every 5-6 days. (when the soil becomes 95% dry) 10% of the solution watered runs out the bottom of the pot, and is removed with a wet-vacuum.

I bring down the ph of the rockwool cubes by soaking them for a few hours in 3,5 and then flush them with ph 5,8 water with nutrients in and then let the cubes sit in ph corrected nutrients solution. I let them drain for 10 minutes After a 3,5 hours.

Week 18 Middle August : weather is changing. Return of heat and humidity: 28 degrees, a little bit rain. A heat wave is coming but near the ocean the maximum will be around 32 degrees. It’s good to grow in greenhouse during this period : -ventilation control: I adapted the rythme: for now it’s around 18h/24h intermittently -pests and diseases control: insect’s traps natural and artificial, less heat -humidity control: no rain problem Daylight 14h: 7h/21h Flowering time 😁. Every thing has been going well, plants looking very lush, & healthy, put on a bit of a stretch, added 2nd scrog net to train them through as they stretched. Been busy lollipoping & defoliating lower growth to allow more air & light through. Removed a lot of lower popcorn branching & lower bud sites, so they can now focus & send all their energy to the top bud sites. Going very well.
