Aug 30: it’s still hot (too hot at peak for photosynthesis) so lots of water, watering outside of growbag, etc to cool things off a bit. Sep 1: almost ready. Found a dried leaf and a spot of bud rot which was immediately removed. Main tops are almost ready and I’ll start harvesting this one later this week. Sep 2: buds are looking pretty ready (at least the tops) and the pistils changed colour last night. Heatwave is now past and now we’re into a couple days of smoke from fires in the NWT. Sucks, but at least this is the first serious smoke here this year. Sep 4: decided to do a chemical flush this year. Great buds last year but didn’t burn well because of excess P in late flowering. Considered another flush product but looking at the MSDS sheets that stuff had ‘editic acid’ which is an obscure but acceptable name for EDTA. That is a very strong chelating agent which will remove salts effectively but I’d rather avoid it. In contrast, Final Flush from Grotek has potassium sorbate (generally recognized as safe food additive) and good old citric acid which is a chelating agent but not as strong as EDTA. Similar products but citric acid is more gentle and the plant still gets some potassium. Sep 5: don’t take flash pics of photoperiod plants unless you follow up with a far red light.

Week 10, Week 10 has been fun. The buds are becoming denser and starting to almost look like a finished product. I am planning on harvesting the plant the first week of next month, so three weeks or so and counting! I am adjusting the tie downs twice a week trying to get the buds as much sunlight as possible. I am watering every 3 days with 6.0 ph water. I have been putting a teaspoon of FloraNova in the water with a tablespoon of molasses mixed in but it appears she received a little nutrient burn. I'm not to worried about it because I wanted to make sure the flower sites received enough nutrients to make some dense dank buds. It isn't a huge burn but a little. As a result I started mixing only half a teaspoon of FloraNova in the water to make sure any future burn doesn't happen. I am excited about the plant, she is starting to look like a thiccy ha I am probably going to starting flushing in three weeks. Let me know if you have any questions/concerns/comments. 11/16: A few of them are in a bigger hurry than the others, and that's just fine by me....very tired of buying weed to smoke.. I fed them again today with about 1/2 gallon each and put a couple of 24w 3000k bar lights under the canopy to increase light to the lower branches. I also took some photos and a video. 11/17: A few of them are protesting about their proximity to the lights, so I raised them as high as possible, which was only another 4 inches. Hopefully that's enough! 11/18: I checked their moisture levels and rotated the edge plants. 11/19: I watered them today with about 1/2 gallon including bembe, signal, cal-mag, myco, and started them on cha ching. At least one of them will get flushed for the first time at their next feeding. Already fading... 11/20: I rotated some edge plants and started decreasing humidity in the closet. I set the AC Infinity to come on whenever it gets up to 45% RH., plus the new dehumidifier I ordered will be here tomorrow. 11/21: I fed them today with about a half-gallon each. I started cutting back on everything except cal-mag, bembe, signal, and cha ching.

Decent smoke… Not as good as White Widow but pretty good

Ms Mia Wallace went to town and blew the f up. Lots of leaf growth but no sign of bud spots- I know it’s early days tho. Watered with half serving of bloom nutes. Not the ideal nute mix I think, but served me well last grow. Also, as I turned up the light to max power, I noticed heat stress so i turned it down and successfully installed the worlds most eco friendly trellis - one minute- hockey net - next minute - weed trellis. It’s called upcycling boys and girls. I know it’s shit, I’m gonna reinstall it one more 1/4 ass so it’s a full half-ass scrog. Point is, the canopy is flat, pushed that puppy down so there’s more distance. Light back to 100%. Humidity was a little higher under the canopy, even with the dehumidifier, so I put my inline fan back in (was just a booster in-line fan before) and the temp and humidity is dropping. Saw a little bug. Hit the top & bottom canopy layer with light neem oil spray then incecticidle soap. I saw a small critter so I put Diatomaceous Earth on a upside down Tupperware lid. Don’t know if that works. Last time I did a top coat of the stuff on top of the soil - something happened and bad nute burn. Anyone know anything about this? Finally, also tied down a bunch of branches to let the light hit the lower areas. Tune in next time, where I’ll show you how to make a trellis from a pair of spandex Leggings , Peanut butter and a single streamer from the handlebars of a kids bicycle. Keep your buds green, and your grow room clean.

The plant again doubled in size. Not sure if it’s the light, but the plant is growing super bushy. I have already started removing some of the inner shoots, to focus the energy into building some length. The roots are developing phenomenally and she seems to be overall quite happy. Once she is a bit taller, I will probably top her to make sure that I can fill the SCR.O.G. Properly. Light intensity is currently set to somewhere around 80% veg only.

I also like the fact that you can control the light intensity and daisy chain with another light witch is what I plan on doing.

Day 77 - June 18 June 18 - 06.00AM One Amber trichome found. Will water with 5L of water at 6.3PH this morning. Wilted leaves are still springy. I'd like to defoliate but will wait until they're completely wilted. June 18 - 06.45AM Soil is still cold, a little moist. I'll water at approximately 9AM June 18 - 10.45AM Removed dead leaves to avoid pests (as sharing tent with outdoor plants at night). June 18 - 10.45AM Watered 4.5L to runoff at 6.3PH. Time taken approximately 1 hour to saturate soil. June 19 - 09.00AM Trichomes are starting to morph from clear to cloudy. Each clear head is now about 50% cloudy. There are slightly more light amber trichomes appearing. I suspect just under a week remaining. June 20 - 07.00PM Found another amber trichome on a more developed cola. With more half-clear trichomes becoming cloudy. I suspect I'll chop in 5 days or so. Leaf necrosis is developing further with some fan leaves (with trichomes) are decaying. I'd really like to see more purple by this stage, but I'll settle for a pineapple fade. June 22 - 08.20AM Temperature ate 78F at ground level. TOO HIGH! Had to turn the AC off due to partner being cold overnight. Possibly lost terpines+potency - frustrated. Trichomes still seem too clear for my liking. June 22 - 10.40AM Watered 4-5L to runoff at 6.3PH. Should have watered yesterday, though pot was still relatively heavy. Removed one dead leaf resting on budsite. June 23 - 06.00AM Removed a few dead leaves. Trichomes are still cloudy. Some milky, it's close - though little to no ambers. June 24 - 07.00PM Removed more dead leaves + 1 healthy accidentally. Trichomes are about the same. Removed all LST ties.
