God's Vagina seedling seems to have finally established its roots and begun to thrive. The clone was yellowing I belive from being root bound. She was transplanted today 04/27. End of the week update! 05/03/2020 God's Vagina was topped at the 5th node yesterday(05/02) First time ever topping but she seems to be recovering nicely. Will begin with low stress training on the clone soon in an attempt to keep both plants at roughly the same height. Yellowing on the clone is nearly all gone. Planning on keeping them in veg for another 6 weeks.
Started feeding with Fox Farm nutrients this week. Really happy with the rate of growth now! Going to continue LST on the clone for the time being. God's Vagina is about ready to begin LST. She has successfully split from one main stem into two which is the highlight of the week for me! Thinking about giving both a solid defoliation soon but I'm in no rush yet.
Both plants are fighting for the spotlight! The clone is really trying to steal the show but God's Vagina is vigorously trying to keep up regardless of being much younger! Temperature has gone down and Temps have been closer to ideal. I had a little accident while LSTing the clone, I snapped one of the larger branches. I know I should probably tape it up or remove it completely but I just left it and she doesn't even seem to care. The branch itself is only connected by a sliver but it hasn't slowed growth down one bit. It's cray but these genetics seems amazing to a new grower like myself. In summary both plants are doing amazing but I started to notice some discoloration on one leaf which has subsequently spread to various others. Not sure what the issue is if anyone has any idea I'd love to hear it. Unfortunately I wasn't able to snap many pics this week but I'll be able to document further progress much better now
Really happy with the rate of growth. Both plants responded well to training and have bushed out pretty well. Going to let them stretch out from now on. God's Vagina has finally shown she is a female! Both plants are now growing at roughly the same speed.
Got hit by a severe heatwave this week! Temps reached 104 in the grow tent even with the lights off and fans at full blast. Threw some ice in front of a fan to help but it was not enough. Also doesn't help I went one day over when I would normally water them. First day of reasonable weather today. Plants seemed sad and droopy for a day, luckily after feeding they perked right back up. Defoliated slightly this week. Will definitely NEED air conditioning moving forward. Aside from that, the odor these two are creating is already mesmerizing. Best I can describe the smell so far is, a mixture of sweet pineyness with a light pungent funky undertone. Can't wait to switch to flower in a few days! Going to be flushing both plants this Sunday 05/31.
Start of the week. Flushed both plants using Fox Farm Bush Doctor Sledgehammer. Flipped to 12/12 & turned on the 5 Watt bloom enhancers today. God's Vagina is a little smaller than the clone but that's to be expected seeing as the clone had such a large head start. They're really going to start stretching now! Each week they get hungrier and hungrier! Will be updating daily this week
Any creative ways to mitigate heat? I have a 6in Inline duct fan working at full capacity along with a fan circulating air inside the tent. Temps are hitting triple digits outside as well as in the tent even with lights off. I've put a bowl of ice in front of the fan.
Snag an AC unit. Or with an active intake system, you can make a chill box and run ducting into a styrofoam ice box filled with dry ice. This will make it cooler while adding a boost of co2 hope this helps! Happy growing!
Back after several months. Both plants are finally budding after going through some serious heat stress. Seriously considered cutting them down because i didn't think they would bounce back. But I let them recover what do you guys think? Not as dense as they could be but the buds are still growing.
Had a tough time mitigating heat in the summer when this grow took place. Was also not able to care for the two plants I had as best i could due to a lack of time. Harvest really suffered because of it but still got some great results. Didn't weigh it but i filled 12 32 oz mason jars. 6 Of which were from my cloned plant. 4 were God's Vagina and 2 were a mix of both buds.
