Flowering Week 25: Structural Support & Purple Progress Update: 29.08.2025 | Day 17 Hey Growmies, Week 25 brought some clarity – and a little intervention. Remember those yellow leaves up top I mentioned last week? Lower leaves were totally fine, so I knew it wasn’t nitrogen. I posted pics and you guys came through – most of you called it: lack of potassium and phosphorus. So, I did something I rarely do: gave the ladies a mild dose of mineral fertilizer. Mixed a 2L bottle with normal dosage into a 10L watering can filled with rainwater, then split it evenly between both plants. It felt like a small gamble, but sometimes you gotta trust the process – and the community. I didn't want to spend money on organic fertilizers as long as the Tripart bottles are still full from last year. Biggest lesson this year? My compost needs more power. Next season, I’m amping it up with extra horse or pigeon manure to keep those nutrients steady deeper into flower. Strain Check Durban Poison: This girl’s gettin’ heavy. I’m constantly tying branches to my support structure to keep ‘em from snapping. She’s bulking up nicely, and the colors keep deepening into that gorgeous purple she’s becoming known for. The smell? Still pretty moderate – not overpowering yet, which is kinda surprising. Still not seeing much resin on the sugar leaves, but she’s a beauty through and through. Blueberry: She’s still reaching for the sky – definitely wants to be the tallest girl in the garden. Bud sites are becoming more defined now, and she’s slowly starting to form proper buds. Her colors are even more striking than Durban’s, deep and vibrant. Still no real smell to speak of, though. I’m thinking she’ll need until at least the first week of October to fully finish up. Next Steps - Keep a close eye on how they respond to the mild dose of mineral fertilizer - Stay vigilant for pests – especially as buds develop further - Check daily for branches that need extra support and tie them up as needed That’s it for this week, folks. This is my growdiary for the Royal Gorilla seeds. They are growing together with NL from RQS. I planted 3 of them and all are growing happily. I planted each seed in a different pot so i can look for differences in yield and quality. Im looking forward to share the grow-process with you and i hope you enjoy my diary :).

Finally the Sour Strawberry started catching up! It seemed to have some sort of mutation where it topped itself and also rotated while growing. In the timelapse you can see the entire plant rotates about 90° over the course of the week. Sadly the other 3 plants kept throwing new issues at me and were at very different heights, all while the Sour Strawberry was tiny. Bending them had little effect and I did not actually want to super crop them just yet. I had to put in a net.

На этой неделе растения стабильно получали 20 часов света, это очень помогло им стать больше и сильнее. Я продолжаю тренировки LST. На этой неделе была обрезка веерных листьев, я часто практикую дефолиацию автоцветов. Надеюсь проблем со светом не будет, растения уже показали "усы" свой пол, значит стадия предцвета будет примерно через неделю, хочу что бы они стали ещё больше и набрали "мяса" массу. Bud fatten up and smell and look so nice 😍 So happy to grow such beautiful plant she is mazing with lots off branches but bit short only 60cm Every day going she get darker purple Because she so bushy some bud won't get air and light so every time I feed her I have to remove some top leaves or middle leave s to get ligh and airflow I hate popcorn nugs and she seems have alot popcorn nug but bud still growing and fatten up I won't rush to harvest her I let her grow atleast 3 or 4 weeks more

2/4: Photo session day! The squattier of the two picked up a lot less of the sativa genes. She's gonna be shorter, but she's in a big hurry compared to her lankier sister. The taller one, like most other sativa dominant strains I've grown, really doesn't like being fed so often. At this point, I'll probably just feed her every other feeding day, and on plain watering days I'll give her cal-mag and flavor/terpene enhancers, and maybe a little beastie bloomz. I had a total infestation of Cattus (felis) which I documented in my photos. Eradication seems impossible, so I'm opting to allow a degree of predation, but hoping trichome production will, at least, deter them soon.😁 2/5: I fed everybody today except these girls and my two #3's..they usually protest after a full-strength feeding. I just gave them water with cal-mag, bembe, signal, humic acid, and a little Open Sesame. I also sprayed everybody down with Axiom harpin proteins for the last time today. I made a DIY CO2 generator today using a 5 gallon cat litter bucket, a small aquarium pump, some air line tubing, and a bubble stone, plus 6 cups of sugar and 30 grams of wine yeast in 2 gallons of warm water. I put the tube where the CO2 is exhausted up against the back of the oscillating fan that aims down over the plants so they are being constantly forcefully bombarded with high levels of CO2(1300+ppm) from above. I set the ac infinity controller to allow the temps to climb up to 89f before the fan turns on. 2/6: These girls are a much lighter shade of green than anybody else in the garden. I bought some Gro-Pro pot risers to elevate the pots so that they will dry out faster..seem pretty effective. 2/7: Now they look deficient in N and K...ffs! I'll go back to feeding them with everyone else, but will make up a batch of weaker nutes for them. I foliar fed with big bloom and tiger bloom. 2/8: I ordered a second 6" AC Infinity fan to connect to my controller, some ducting, and a diffuser which I'll mount to the wall, down near the floor. The fan unit will be in another closet, adjacent to the garden closet, and I'll run ducting up through that closet ceiling into the attic, with a filter on the end to keep bugs and particulates out. For the next 6 weeks or so, it will provide a supply of colder fresh air. I did the math, and it will now only take about 1 minute and 40 seconds to completely exchange the air in the closet. Depending on the outside air temp at the time, it should take anywhere between 8 and 20 minutes for the closet to heat back up to 80f and the fans to kick back on again. This Spring, on days when it's not cooler than 72f, I'll disconnect the duct in the closet and stretch it into that bedroom, clipped to the window unit air conditioner output, cranked down as low as it will go. This Summer, I'm gonna just run a pair of the quantum boards and grow 4 or 5 autos in there, but this should help keep the temps cooler in summer as well, without dedicating an air conditioner to the grow op.🙏 2/9: I foliar fed them with grow big, big bloom, and tiger bloom and checked moisture in their pots. They're due for a good watering tomorrow.

Anorher Week😀 so the training looks god💪 Lot of work, hope it pays of. Think the canopy is the most even I’ve grown before. Everything is at the same height. Even small popcorn sites gets light. It’s winter here so the air is very dry. Flower developing nice. Eating and drinking god. Total EC is 2.0

Started LST on day 16. So far I been having good luck.

week 2 of flower, been able to line up compost teas with feeds so they get nutes, nutes, RO+TEA, Repeat. foliar last times this week, I stop spraying anything on week 3! showed how i like to shake them up with the scrog a bit in last vid. I do that to essentially simulate a wind storm, strengthen stalks and roots, also helps reorganizing the canopy as you sorta shake things into place that were bunched up next to neighboring leaves. next week will do a fairly heavy defoliation to allow better airflow around colas

Some leaves starting yellowing and dying as plant is focusing on bud growth. Decided to run some defoliation techniques to allow nutrients to not be wasted. Didn’t want to stress the plant too much as I did this earlier and don’t want to cause any hermies will monitor and feed regularly

Week 11 Jan. 13 - Jan. 19, 2020 Jan. 15, 2020 CS #1 & #2 are coming along nicely. No amber trichomes but wow t the plants are frosty and they have a strong pungent smell. When thr main cola is bent a little sideways it really begins out the smell. The smell is like a gassy, diesel fuel, strong chemically smell. I love it. CS #3 is giving me some problems. The pics might show it. The leaf tips are curling up and thr leaf edges are turning brown. Not sure if I can correct this befor harvest. It's late into flower. I may just ride it out until then. I've topped dress once weekly for the last 4 weeks with kelp, and a blend from roots organic for bloom 4-6-3.

Bud sites are producing black/purple spot in leaves. Bud growth is producing as the days go by. Really excited with this being my first grow Nitrogen boost really helped with the deficiencies. Plants are starting to look really heathy... Prunes lower colas that weren't stretching past the canopy and receiving energy so more energy can be used towards the top buds
