One and exactly one :) FF-11 into the cup
7/16
On to the paper towel and bag, well its wet of course :D
7/18
Three days and no tail to speak of so I am popping another.
This one got a 15 minute soak in 2% H2O2 to clean the shell of the seed from any fungus or other badies.
Then into the little red cup
7/20
Well now I have two seeds with tails.
THe first finally sprouted a tail after three days as did the second in only one.
Both into rock-wool
7/22
Well now we have a grow folks 😀
Meet Beatrice of Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing 😎
She is the second seed that was treated with H2O2 as a 15 minute soak.
The fact she is up and the other is not tells us this will be a thing for EVERY seed we pop.
Will be giving the slow one a dose of H2O2 try and spur her on as she must be getting low on energy by now.
Into solo cups 20% pearlite feeding twice a day to runoff with kangaroots at 8 ml/gal
7/23
Hero Lives!
And its a close thing. Had to open the rockwool and help her up as she had run out of energy.
Transplanted to coco so she can be more readily fed. Gave light feed with kangaroots and h2o2, yes they conflict a bit but both will benefit for one feed.
Meet Hero heroine of Much Ado About Nothing that had to die to live.
Will be dropping the Kangaroots and h2o2 next feed, adding a one time of Fish Shit 2ml/gal
7/24
Not much change, maybe 10% veg growth overnight.
Ending all but base nuets till transplant.
7/27
Week ending tomorrow and transplant for Bea
7/28
Finally finished the first week now we can get busy :D
Transplanting Bea this evening Hero may take a couple of days, all moved to big tent
Transplanted Bea, gave kangaroots 10ml/g fish shit 2ml/g + nuets
Lights on hours reduced due to heat to 16
Increasing nuets to next stage
7/30
Watching Hero to see when to transplant, may only be a One gallon pot not sure she wont stunt,
7/31
Decided to put Hero in a five gallon pot, let her be all she can be, t-plant this evening.
Being forced to use Cal-Mag per the feeding schedule released by GH was hoping it would not be needed but yes can see the beginnings of def.
Thats one strike on the new nuet line.
Adding 1.5 ml/gal cal-mag on routine basis and not happy about it
Hero transplanted everybody got Kangaroots 10ml/gal and Fish Shit 2ml/gal to celebrate!
8/2
From results we are seeing have decided to go back to the cocotek, this is ok but getting problems we just did not have with the other line.
8/3
Week 3 is a little early but for ease of use we are updating now.
Lots ahead this week, Bea will be topped perhaps Hero as well
New feed is looking good
8/4
Looking good real good
Topping Bea day after tomorrow Hero likely the day after
Their forth and fifth nodes are growing
8/5
Look well and on track for topping- great color
8/6
Holding off on topping for a day on Bea she does not look to be stretching out a lot
Increasing nuets to 7ml/gal each of A&B
Dropping lights another inch
8/8
Growth has increased greatly, lights holding at 25", leaving nuets as is for now.
Hold off topping these girls, the way they are going that may not be best
Looking at some other grows decide tomorrow
Top dressed them and made nice 😎, kicked on the second light and spread them out raised the lights to 28" so as not to cook anyone till we get it dialed in.
He placed them in the best light between the two big Mars units so watching closely
8/9
Topping day, she took it well and have trained down the fan leaves.
Hero doing well look at her tomorrow
8/10 Week 4 and they are doing so well
Bea has recovered very well from topping and secondary branches rising nicely
Hero will wait a day to be topped not unexpected
Just not much going on and thats a good thing
8/12
Hero topped
Moved the light up to 30" just looking for a veg sweet spot
8/13
Looking good so increased nuets to 10 and 10 of cocotek A&B
Lots of growth tips rising from the leaf tucking we always do
8/14
Defoliation day not a lot removed but enough to open the tops to light.
Flipping in 3...
8/15
Recovered from all defoliation and growth tips aplenty in the light
Increased nuets to 12ml/gal each of cocotek AB, drinking more now
Pic tonight
Flipping in 2...
8/17 Week 5 Flipping
Lights set to 11-13 for the first few days then 12-12
Nuets will transition accordingly
Took two cuttings for clones
Reducing feeds to once a day during the switch
Intro Cocotek Bloom a/b at 5ml/gal each
Reduce Grow to 10ml/g each
Next feed half and half
8/19
Switching to 12-12 from 11-13 think its done its work changes are afoot
8/20
Colas forming quickly may have to flip the week to Flower, lets hope so 😉
They getting a dose of Kangaroots 5ml/g and Fish Shit 2ml/g at intervals during transition purely as plants seem to need.
Pics tonight
8/21
Not there entirely yet but wont be long at all
Vertical growth has picked up strongly, 2" in 3 days, though I really wont call it stretch yet
Continued light defoliation keeping center clear
Nuets as is for now
8/24 Week 6 Flower
Bea is the big girl of the tent, not by a lot but significant.
Hero is not far behind and looking great.
Reducing Grow nuets will Increase Bloom as we go.
Want a lower EC with lots of runoff for tonight, been pretty high and its going up from here.
Looking good what to say?
Stretch has started but its very reasonable
8/25
They added an inch and some over night
Nuets changed to all Bloom 8ml/gal A&B and Koolbloom 1ml/gal
EC at 1500 see if we can keep this until ripening
8/26
Resuming twice a day feeds
8/27
Giving a dose of Kangaroots for their early flower root building this is the last of that.
Defoliated lowers removing all under growth
Tent is getting pretty full... maybe they are like goldfish...
8/28
Growing @ 1/2 - 1 inch per day still
8/31 Week 7 and the damned tent is full .... such problems err?
25 sq ft of green, did not expect this really was hoping the extra space would allow more plants but this is full on 5
Plants doing well just trying to make em all fit
Nuets remain as is
These girls be a growin!
Defoliation to try and get they to fit in the tent a bit easier, removed fan leaves.
9/1
Upped PK to 2ml/g the cotton balls have begun
Both hit 30" tonight and are becoming exceptional plants
9/2 Still stretching but seems to be slowing now 31" both plants
9/4
Major defoliation cleaned bottoms middle tops get the buds in light and help them fit in the tent better.
Still hitting about 1 inch-ish a day nut seem to be slowing
9/6 Week 8 And she is doing very well
No signs of any problems nuets doing a great job
Added another light, custom 90w LED
Stretch is slowing
9/8
Buds beginning to form tent is VERY full doing what we can to alleviate some crowding
9/10
Pics Vid
Looks like stretch has stopped more or less
Stretch may have ended
9/9
Nah its aint ended was just teasing us
Increased nuets due to purplish stems seen on the indicas. CocoTek to 10ml/gal A&B
Just trying to get things to behave in the tent its really full humidity is very low so thats helping
Took longer for things to get into full flower than we wanted, have to work on that.
9/10
Pics Vid
Looks like stretch has stopped more or less lights did not need raising
9/14 Week 9 and they are doing fine
Little vid Hero Left rear Bea rt rear
They are almost identical now Bea a bit larger
Nuets not changing for now
9/16
Doing well but some white tips are saying we gotta reduce the salts so will be dropping CT nuets 10% and upping PK to 2.5
Extra space is really doing them well
Defoliation again tonight the war on stemmed leaves has begun
9/17
Held a meeting of the minds and decided the best course of action is to flip the light schedule so I can feed them more appropriately, twice a day.
Leaving nuets as they are as this will drop pot EC. Setting the alarm for the AM before lights out at 7:30 and changing the sched to 6AM-6PM summer is done no need for current schedule. Lights be out from 7:30AM to 6AM long I know but should not bother them.
Made a bouquet of all the sucker branches, seems to be a lot on FF11
9/19
Lights on girls feed buds look fine
Video enjoy
9/22
Week 10 update... finally
Looks good but going to add more Phos due to some red stems showing upping to 3ml/g
These pics caused my husband to do a serious defoliation, 😏
Changed nuets to lower Bloom 10% increase PK by adding Peak need to use it up.
9/23
Vid up
9/24
After looking at things this morning have decided to start moving the FFT9 and FFT11 to flush.
Begin slowly cutting Bloom nuets tomorrow for those two strains so we can start flush at week's end.
9/25
Feed is changing as we move them into flush.
Lower Bloom A/B to 5/5 raised Koolbloom to 5ml Peak to 5ml
9/26
Like things where they are for now hold here till flush
Vid/Pic
9/28 Week 11 and Beginning Flush
No nuets
Look for 7-10 days till harvest
9/30
Ambering very well and the tricones look like a ski resort.
On track for harvest at week mark
10/4
Hero to be harvested Monday
Bea will be longer
10/5 Week 12
Harvest day for Bea her pics later
Hero remains in the tent for now she could use more time think she may be larger than Bea now they we look close.
We will see wont we
10/5 HARVEST DAY FOR Beatrice
light trim on remaining leaves and she yielded 1585 grams wet
Dry report in a few days
Leaves leaves lots of leaves
Trim took a while so plan accordingly
Growing is easy really easy no issues
The strain does seem to be able to grow well on lower nuets than we used, maybe 10-20% less.
Bea dry yield 255 grams fixed the video
Hero dry yield 271 grams
526 total
