I only got to fertilize once this week but with the super soil she doesn’t show any deficiencies. I fertilized with I49 grow 1 tbsp/gal & 2 tbsp I49 Flower. I added this more as a preventive measure since I’m seeing issues with AK-47xl also outside in super soil. With the extreme heat and rain, my purple hulk is a HULK. She almost doubled height (grew 15 inches) this week and is now 33 inches tall and starting flower. She demonstrates resistance to fungal diseases and bug damage. In the background noise on the video is Cicadas. When they hatch, they crawl onto a tree or plant and molt. The adult has wings. This is the empty body casing. I mean, overall this was an extremely painless grow. The test of whether we should or shouldn't top autos is still TBD imo. Our topped candidate produced denser, frostier buds, but weighed slightly less, at 14 grams of bud total. And our lst plant produced 18 grams of bud, not as frosty, and almost as dense as our topped girl. I'll be topping autoflowers from here on out only under the circumstance I have 4+ to grow at the same time. Seems like it could be used to speed up the autoflower grow cycle if done properly, like with right. Since I'm doing a perpetual cycle, it's still a viable option for me in the long run. A few tips I have for anyone growing this strain in organics: Start feeding bloom nutes a little bit prior to flower transition - this makes the transition more seemless. From weeks 1-3 flower, I slowly dropped the grow dosage until I cut off grow nutes week 3 flower. Starting the flush around week 6 flower seemed to really bring out this plant's potential. But I think you could get away with starting the flush around week 5. I hope this helps anyone trying this strain out. It's a good one, I hope to see more journals of it, eventually. Cheers everyone! She unfortunately molded a bit and my friend had to harvest her while i was on vacation. Really should add a fan to my setup.... Well i will just be hoping that these girls will be quality with the audio frequency. I know from the first place that my lamp to light distance when veg state it was too high i noticed it after 6 weeks. And forgot again cause im stupid and flipped it on 7th week. 😪 mistakes mistakes. Mdfckr me😩😩😩 wish they are 1 hit kill 😂

Flowers are growing great. All the plants have been given 2 small shovels of compost. The compost was mixed into the soil on top.

Beautiful flower full of trichomes. Smell and test fantastic. Very fast flowering. She was done on day 49 but I cut her down few days later. I love the strain, the only thing that I will like this strain to have is a better yield. Beast quality buds I ever grew.

05/18 I have a question Should defoliation continue? The light hits the buds and is unnecessary, but some growers advise getting rid of the foliage so that power from the roots goes to the buds. I plan to leave it as it is and only occasionally remove 5-10 leaves that are shadow. Apologies that this took me so long to update! This harvest was probably my second favorite, after my Choc Mint OG. Even tho the yeild was low due to only having 1 plant after a season on downs.

Week 8 is finally here! We changed up the nutrient feeding to the week 8 on the feed chart. I am diluting everything at a 50-40% rate to keep EC within acceptable ranges of 0.8 - 1.1 EC. I started adding Terpinator to the mix and I do notice a significant smell increase vs. without it. I am going to keep using this as I think it is a great supplement. I did figure out that even though on the bottle and on the specific feed chart, it says it is a light formula that will have minimal impact on EC and will not burn your plants at the recommended rates - it will! First time mixing up my nutrients with terpinator, I had to dilute it because the EC was too high. I put the recommended amount in my mix, and checked EC and low and behold it was high. The next feeding I did a 50% dilution rate and that seemed to be ok if you are diluting your other inputs properly to compensate. ALWAYS make sure your EC and PH are in check prior to fertigating your plants. I am watching the trichomes on a daily basis and am looking to harvest sometime this week or next. I plan to dry it in the tent it is growing in as it has AC and good airflow. Once they are done drying, they will get trimmed up, lightly vacuum sealed and stored in the freezer. starting to see some crowning. nice stretching going on. very happy with how it's all going (except for the wyze camera timelapse, which still stops working halfway through the week) I do have some weird stuff going on with one plant, I'll post some pictures, if anyone has any advice. the only thing I can really find online that looks like this is tobacco mosaic disease, but I don't think it's that. maybe this one plant had a little extra stress or something. I have some of that mosaic looking pattern. it's showing up mostly on one plant, and like two leaves on one other plant. maybe calmag defiency? i guess it can kind of look like that, and my RO system was down for a week or two so I had to use tap water, and to keep EC consistent that meant less nutes for a week or two (that was taken up by the tap water EC of like 150). anyway, super excited. wish i had more to do, but it's pretty much just riding it out at this point. was crazy busy with work this week, i wanted to have got in a good defoliation already but I will get to that this weekend. going to remove everything below a certain point, all the lower leaves and the lower nodes that aren't going to make it to the top. probably going to put a trellis net up as i don't think they are going to be able to support their own weight once they start to really stack. i may do one or two final foliar sprays, all organic stuff, but one last IPM and maybe one amino acid / coconut water / aloe / bloom boost after the defoliation, just to help them bounce back quickly as i'm going to be removing a lot of biomass. all that is organic and there are barely flowers on so i'm not worried about it. getting such a strong lemon scent off these already, skunk is starting to come in. can't wait to get some real flowers on them and for the terps to develop. i'm not going to judge yet, but i think if i was to run these again i wouldn't do quadline. quadline was super interesting to me when I first started growing, but after having a bunch of grows under my belt, really i think my preference is to mostly let them grow natural, maybe supercropping the main cola, but my favorite grows have been the ones i did the least amount of hard training on. not sure why i decided to quadline this run, but i'm happy with the even canopy so it's all good

Week 6ix behind All week been struggling to solve the “mystery of yellow top” And “the mystery of not flowering autos” Since both coco plants are not flowering in the same manner i ruled-out the possibility of them being genetically photos instead of autos. The possibility that i’d get 2 different strains to be with such a rare deviation is atomically small. For now have developed a plan and then decided to go a little sideways. First, reducing the EC to 1.3 stable instead of trying to push the plants to the limit. This means a little less that 1/2 of the recommended dosage by the producer. Second, going heavier on cal-mag Keep mimosa fed every day as she seems to devour everything and sit in a light pot. Another thought is iron deficiency but will see in due time if reducing EC and changing watering schedule doesnt help will go and find an iron supplement. And finally, if they dont flower i will switch them to 12/12 but this is last resort, i dont beleive they are photos.
