Still did not get to smoke it, will let it cure for a few weeks. Many of the lower buds were very fluffly, in total there was around 140G dry, but around 40 grams will be kept with trim for cooking maybe. So 100 grams dry flower is pretty sweet outcome.

Grow is going great. The bigger pheno has taken to the bamboo shoots really well & now both plants are growing really well. Coming into preflower without a care in the world. Days 29-32 2nd/2/ Growth is steady. I really haven't done anything differently so there's not much to report on. Keeping the feed ppm steady & I haven't touched anything LST or any defols. I haven't had the need. It'll do a good amount of stretching over the next few days. I haven't switched to bloom feed yet. Maybe in a few days. 3rd/3 Day 33 Growing like nothing in her way. Moving like a pair of mad women. Added 500ml of Master Root/Enzymes/Calmag ph'ed to 6.9, little higher than I'd like but I wasn't wasting a mix for a point out of what I normally give. 5th/2 day 35 Wow, just blow away by the growth in 2 days. DAMN Herbies got it going DOWN. She has one or 2 blemishes. Still learning the nutrients. With these you can only improve the more you use, I'd she'll easily put on another 20-25cm for each plant. The plants are thriving in their 4th week of flowering, and I couldn’t be happier with their progress! 🌟 Adjusting the nutrient mix for the coco substrate has really paid off, and both plants are responding beautifully. The trichome production is impressive on both, but interestingly, the plant without LST is slightly ahead in development compared to the LST variant. 🌿💨 The buds are forming nicely, and there’s already a noticeable aroma in the grow space. It’s predominantly sweet, with hints of something deeper starting to come through. 🍭✨ So far, everything is looking on track, and I can’t wait to see how they progress in the coming weeks!💚💚💚

Starting my first grow in the new tent with my first Mephisto seeds. Grabbed these from seedslocker a few months ago and they've been sitting in my seed vault in the fridge since. Popped them in a glass of water at 8pm on 10/18. Broke out the AC Infinity propagation system and added a bit of RO water to some coco pucks. About 24 hours later they sunk in the glass and had opened up a bit with root peaking out, so into the pucks they went on the evening of 10/19. No real movement on 10/20, turned the heat pad off because they were a little warm. Morning of 10/21 the Compound V I have in the propagator is popping and the pucks for the Fugue State seem to be moving a bit, I think they'll make their way out tonight. Opened vents on the dome to let them breathe a bit more. Fugue State all popping / on the cusp of popping by the early evening. Solid day of sprouting. 10/22 continued to develop as seedlings, one of the Fugue State is a bit stuck in it's shell, hoping it pops through soon. 10/23 transplanted into grow tent, working on dialing in humidity and temp. Dialed in lights at 1.5ft and level 2, checked with PAR meter and DLI calculator. #2 still stuck in it's shell, let's go little buddy! The tent has been stood up and cooking a bit w/ the lights blazing and a dehumidifier running to dry out our soil a bit. Had issues with fungus gnats last grow and I'm trying to prevent that this time. Ordered some beneficial nematodes as a line of defense and sprayed soil with a good soak of neem oil as a precaution after drying out. Sticky traps show no gnats so far. Soil is Coast Of Maine Stonington Blend Aeration Formula, a 70 / 30 Coco / Perlite blend that I've used before. I have Coast of Maine dry nutrients and Fox Farm liquid nutrients, will likely try to stick to the dry nutrients unless fungus gnats emerge again. Soil is in 5 gallon fabric pots. I added 2/3 cup of Stonington Blend Plant Food and 1/3 cup of Wiscasset Blend Earthworm Castings to each pot along with some Mycorrhizal Fungi spores and worked it in. I have been using the AC Infinity self watering bases but as I'm running 6 total plants this grow I've ordered the new Vivosun self watering bases to compare them.

Getting close to harvest day

Oh so this is my first entry on GrowDiaries. This Red Dragon started from seed I believe sometime early April. It's been in a 2 gallon pot for a good month and now is ready to be transplanted in a 15 gallon cloth pot. I'm probably gonna do that today, with some fiming. I have a mix ready, made of 1/5 dirt,1/5 chicken manure, 2/5 peat moss, 2/5 perlite, and roughly a tablespoon of lime and sulfur, as well as bone meal and stove ashes. I'm a newbie experimenting so feel free to tell me if I'm doing it all wrong :D

D60. I'm back again after being out of town for six days. The tent was packed when I opened it! The girls had stretched more, and a couple of leaves were even touching the lights and had gotten burnt. They are now 125 cm tall. That's five times the height they were when I flipped to flower. Five times!!! I have never had a strain stretch this much, and I hope they are done now since there's no more room in the tent. I removed the fan and carbon filer and placed them outside the tent. It looks a bit stupid and is far from stealthy, but what to do? I moved up the lights as far as possible, but I will probably switch the lights with the one I have in my autotent. That light has a much lower profile, so raising it even further is possible. Should that not be enough, I will have to cut off some tops, but I hope it doesn't come to that. The first girl already has dark purple flowers, while the second looks more green with some purple. ------------------------------ D61. I opened the tent today, only to find that the second girl had stretched another 2 cm overnight! This is getting ridiculous, and I hope they stop soon. I super-cropped the tallest top, hoping it would slow down the stretch. A few hours later, she had already recovered. These genetics are nuts! In other news, my girlfriend found spider mites on her papaya plants that are in the same room as my tents. We immediately removed the plants from the room, and I started to scout my plants for an infestation. The good news is that I didn't find any spider mites. However, the bad news is that I found thrips on the lower leaves of the second girl. Ugh! I had thrips last grow season, and I guess some survived. The thrips were only on the lower part of the plant, so I defoliated the girls by removing a bunch of leaves and tiny branches down low and immediately threw them out of the apartment. Thrips don't like it humid, and since the buds are still tiny, I don't need to worry about botrytis yet, so I cranked up the humidity into the high 70s to low 80s. Finally, I ordered a bunch of lacewing larvae that will get here next week. They should eat the thrips and any spider mites that I might not have been able to find. ------------------------------ D63. The girls have slowed their stretch, BUT they are still stretching somewhat. I freaked out when I opened the tent today and saw they were taller, so I attacked them immediately and super-cropped the highest tops. I will switch out the lights next week, gaining me another few centimeters, which I hope will be enough. The VPD in the tent is way off, but I'm more interested in figuring out the light and getting rid of the thrips. Finally, I watered each girl with 2.5 liters of water L pH 6.1, with 10 ml humic acid and 5 ml Fermented Fruit Juice I made a few months ago. ------------------------------

unprecedented how fast they grow they grow on average off 10 cm per day which I have never experienced on soil but had many problems to keep the pH under control I do notice that less is more on rdwc now that I have reduced the nutrition, the pH remains a lot more stable 4 days ago they transferred to 12 12 now comes the fun part I also ordered a co2 set so from next week we will add co2 to the space

The bottles was enough for a week with litle plants, with biggest plants must to use an other way. I've put my lamp @50% and plants close around 35 cm. Next week I'll work a bit on the plant, topping, training, to prepare my scrog🌲🌲 And return to manual watering. The soil look a bit too much watered, I'll stop watering for a couple of days. CBD 20:1 Super runty. Would be disappointed if it was my only plant. BPP growing well despite some nute tox. Chemdawg growing well. Purplmatic looks good too. Still got the claw leaves. All in all it’s a testament to the contrast in resilience different strains have.

Finished the last week of flushing WOO! and its harvest time! I put them in 48 hours of darkness on Wednesday ready to crop for saturday, I will do a proper harvest report next week when I have them ready to go into curing jars along with some pictures and a full report, but I will add this some of the smells I was getting whilst trimming where unreal smells like pine, citrus, beef and a really faint sweet smell I cant put my finger on... I'm not saying that's 100% what it smells like but it smells similar to wild garlic. Well these b*tches took 14 long hours( could of done it quicker but we made a day of it ) all bud is trimmed and primed for drying then curing. Happy Growing 👊👍
