High GD community Week 16, Zuchinis all around, tomatoes getting ready on a daily. Cucumbers are getting almost mature proportions. Everything going well. Terra preta Location: center perma garden Surface: 125cm x 105cm Depth: 115cm The hole was dug out over 3 days, it were very sunny days. 😅 Theres mostly loamsand with a small sandloam bottom that was very hard. The sand was also very compressed and hard. The top layer is this grey dusty soil of about 40cm deep. At the bottom theres pure sand thats soft, easy drainable. First step is to fill up the entire bottom with fine chopped wood, progressively using bigger pieces of wood. I try to use some hardwood like oak to for its extra K (potassium = pot ash). A bit of charcoal to. This will take the entire first day, bcs it needs to have a minimal ticknes of pure ashes of around 5cm. Otherwise, after compressing it with the upcoming layers, the ash-line would almost disappear. Not all the wood needs to be burned entirely. Its a first layer with lots of N and K. Bones can be used to in the fire making the NPK complete. But it can be added also as a separated layer. I dont have that much bone material because my 2 dogs, or eating, or burry them somewere. Little warning at the end, be aware of your local laws applied to open fires. 😅😉 After a good burn ive got between 8 and 12cm of ashes in total over the entire surface. A small layer of soil (5cm) is put on top of that. Theres no need to harden out that layer, pressure will to the work and the layers will compress over time into ideal circumstances. On to the next layer!! Next is a layer of the compost, but the part that isnt allready decomposed. Its green/brown/yellow of color. And a bit of everything, grass, weeds, leafs and some thin branches. Another layer soil to cover that up. Now i formed a thin layer of chopped(10mm) wood(beech), just enough to make a thin,almost 1 piece high, layer. On to this i added a complete wheelbarrel of compost(black) with small pieces of still not completly decomposed materials. Lots of worms here. On that, you guessed it, an other layer of soil. I try to have both types of soil in that mix, the almost pure sand and the more grey type. Next, back to the beech. This time the rest of the bag follows. Theres a good layer of around 3cm deep. On this ive layed down some new small woodsticks to make a small fire again. Starting at the center and adding some last branches i found. It turned out really smoky!! Half way the burn ive opend the core of the fire, trying to spread the small pieces of char over the complete surface. After that, i added for the first time some water here. And an other layer of soil again, this is just covering up each time. Max 5cm!! Now we are at the upper half of the pit. Still 50cm to go. Now ive added some compost again, the green/brown/yellow one, with on top of that, a 15 liter bucket with compressed bokashi fermentated kitchen leftovers. Making a layer out of that and some fresh bokashi juice with 10 liters of water to drain those benificial bacteria into to compost layer just underneath it. This layer is almost 20cm tick. Again, yeah, soil, 5cm. Ive bought some blond peat to at to to toplayers. Last 25 to 30cm of soil, is a mix of the peat(20%) and the two other types of soil. First ill do tiny layers of each, last 10cm i try to mix it. And to finish the job, ive took some 100% reused and composed soil with some perlite in it from past use. I havent watered a lot, but the meteo predicts a good amount of water in the upcoming days. The soil that stayed and didnt get back to its original place, ive used to make a new top layer on the rest of the mini field. I havent used clay because it was hard to find or just to expensive. Beside the peat(250l), i didnt buy anything. So its labor intensive, but real cheap. 420Fastbuds Gelato Auto Week 9 What up grow fam. Weekly update for these lovely girls. They're getting really close to being done. The flowers are swelling up great with sweet smells coming off them. Trichs are starting to turn cloudy so I'll keep an eye and check them out later in the week. All in all very Happy Growing

15 Noviembre: -Hoy se instaló el sistema de riego "Drip to Waste" que me permitirá hacer riego de precisión, con protocolo "Crop Steering". -Se instalaron sensores de humedad de suelo, para saber cuándo y cuánto regar, el sistema manda datos de humedad de suelo, temperatura y humedad ambiente, etc vía internet a mi celular. -Mañana se comienza con el primer riego de precisión. 17 Noviembre: Segundo día de riego automático, 3.0EC y 5.9pH, las plantas crecen a buen ritmo, las raíces ya están saliendo por los orificios de drenaje a 2 días de transplantadas. 20 Noviembre: Se realizó una pequeña defoliacion de las hojas tipo abanico muy grandes.

Que pasa familia, ya estamos de vuelta, y traemos la 3 semana de crecimiento, la verdad que pronto toca ya trasplantar, me sorprende los espacios entre nudos, el led no solo hace si función si no que mejora bastante el crecimiento de los ejemplares. Ph regulado, echamos poca cantidad de nutrientes pero en nada cuando trasplantemos cambiaremos la alimentación. Temperatura ideal, humedad algo baja pero sin problema alguno, ya va quedando menos para el cambio a floración también. Day 8. Beautiful looking, and my first Tri-leaf! Got big hopes for this one

Growing feet. Reaching great height might have to back bud it . Has some smells. I can see the oils protruding from the leaves pores leaving a powerful aroma overall stenching up the whole pad.

Start of week 3! All three plants have had great bud site development during the last 2 weeks. The Super Lemon Haze is a bit thirstier than the Blueberries, so the Slh got and extra 2 liters of feed during week 2. The Slh is also showing deficiency, hopefully with the addition of B52 to the feed cycle, she'll come around. On th blueberries, there has been some rust spots appearing on the largest leaves, I removed the worst one's and will monitor more closely this week, if that issue continues or not. These babies are very bushy, they take up 80% of my grow room space, very excited about this grow and these plants.

The green crack has hit week 5 from germination. About 35 days old. And it already started pre flowering! I wouldve expected it to get bigger during veg but lets see what it gives us! Ive add Topmax and BioBloom by biobizz. The room temperature is around 28 which is abit high but not too bad. If i can get it around 26C it will be perfect.

Overall this plant was great to grow, she just grew and was happy doing it the entire time, pretty good yield off a plant that was only about 12inches tall. Seemed to be a lot more resistant to deficiencies then the other two strains this grow. Definitely a great mid-day Smoke!

***** Week 9 growth - February 6 to 12, 2021 - Week 1 Flower ***** Here we go.......on to flower now. Last week was transition week and bud sites are setting on the girls now. Lights flipped a week ago to 12/12.......typical flower. I expect stretch to be strong this week. Pheno 1 is going to be a big girl. Pheno 2 looks beautiful in growth but she is shorter in height........might be more desirable at the finish line😀 Nutrients switched over to flower schedule and following week 1 again this week. Next week will move up the ppm more and start on bud enhancers. More microbes and sweetener this week. Silica ppm also increasing now as not looking to bend branches much more now. Switching microbes to Recharge and giving the DGC some love👍 Have a hole in the canopy that I am just going to need to live with. GSCHB and MM2 did not growth as expected. They are not reaching up as tall as the others and stretch is slow. Not looking like they will catch up in next couple of days☹️☹️☹️ These girls are vegged one week less than the others in flower with them.......looking to be the bigger girl in the tent😀 Raised the light to 24” off canopy. At 310 watts and 20” they were getting too much light. Pulled up roughly 4” and left the power alone. Liking the change. Another week yet and will work on increasing intensity. Little more detail....... Feb 6/21 - Day 1 - been drying for 2 days now so water day with some supplements - 3L each girl with CalMag @ 2ml, AN B52 @ 1.5ml (using up an old bottle to finish), Enzymes @ 1ml - 575ppm and 5.9pH - Need to start increasing silica. Using up some B52 which has some silica in it.......and other vitamins so its all good😀 Feb 7/21 - Day 2 - Leaves up today and praying nicely. - dry out day - stretch is going now and the girls are growing hard Feb 8/21 - Day 3 - Feed day again, going to stay with week 1 flower nutrients, same as last week. - IPP Grow @ 1ml, Micro @ 2ml, Bloom @ 2ml, Black Storm @ 3ml, Sea Storm @ 5ml, B+ @ 0.5ml, Red Sun @ 0.5gr, Carbs @ 1ml, Natures Candy @ 1ml, Piranha @ 1ml, Microbes @ 2ml. - 4L for each girl.......yeah, took a little longer to mix up this feed😀 - 1350ppm and 5.9pH - no run off from the girls today......little light on the water, they should have had 5L each. - last feed with bud starter, Red Sun, next will be Bud Fusion for bud booster next week. Feb 9/21 - Day 4 - no run off yesterday so adding more water today......plain tap water.....no additives - 5L for each girl. 225ppm and 6.0pH - good run off today. Feb 10/21 - Day 5 - Nothing today......watered two days in a row - ready for more silica!! Branches need to firm up. Feb 11/21 - Day 6 - Recharge arrived today!!!!!! Time for more microbes and sweetener😀💪 - purple stripes on main stems so adding more magnesium through Epsom salts - 4L mixture for the girls with Epsom Salts @ 0.5Tbsp, Silica @ 1.5ml, IPP Carbs @ 1ml, Recharge @ 1 tsp - 1,000ppm and 5.9pH - different microbes now and excited! Feb 12/21 - Day 7 - Nothing again today.......give them watering tomorrow morning. - Wondering if their leaves are a little dark........consider bring down ppm next week.......it was hard this week at 1300ppm........water is 250 on its own so around 1100ppm nutes added. Looking good ETS......Pheno 2 is the smaller of the two but suspect she might be the keeper as far as growth goes😉 Several more days of stretch to go I suspect.

Green crack had a good week of growth but is still so tiny in comparison to the others. I bent her over to try and get some more bud arms happening. Gave her a flush and looking forward to the stretch and trying to get a decent smoke off it

These plants are liking there new home. Growth has been amazing. Everything seems to be going well. Except it's raining now. We will see how the rebuilt greenhouse holds up.
