I think I'm off to a good start. This is the roughest part of a grow for me so far. One thing that I learned from my past killings was to not get obsessive and that's the approach. I've got a way better understanding of feeding now. I was confused about feeding charts, thinking that it was mix and feed. Even though I checked the PH and PPM (incorrectly a few times) I'd consistently fry my plants to near death, bring them back with plain, proper ph'd water and then re-fry the next feeding. It hadn't dawned on me that the nutrient mix while being in the optimal PH range, mixed in right order and correct measurements, my PPM/EC was way too high for the stage of the plant. Yikes, I was feeding a toddler 3 double Whoppers with extra everything. And XL fries. You burn and learn I guess. The little girl was starting to look hungry so I took a shot and fed light nutrients with some hydrogen peroxide (will update the chart soon getting sleepy). I also punched a lot more holes in the bottom of the solo cup. Few hours later her leaves perked up like she was giving me a high five. Leaves are looking good too with a PPM of about 211. It's going to be a warmer weekend so I figure I'll crack another seed and put my 5 gallon pot to use. Possibly a photoperiod?

Week 2 for the solo Afghani went smooth. Looked a little slow to develop her first proper set of leaves, but the root development should help speed up her progression. Still feeding off the slow release 444 and is now regularly drinking about 2oz of water every other day. I also spritz the bottom of the outer cup to keep moisture levels high for stretching roots. She's about 36" from the light. Hoping to get a little stretch to make training easier. Added a couple new pics to get the week caught up. Stay tuned, week 3 starts training.

Everything ok

Ok so this week I did a defoliation and a tigh down too the netting , I really was not planning on doing such a big defoliation but the leafs became thick and dense and there was almost no light penitration down too the lower branches of the plant , so she is opened right up now and the humidity and temperature has dropped loads and the air is moving alot better around the leaves and branches , I will not take anything more off her now , I have also added Cal mag too the nutrients for this week only , she is well into pre flower now but the stretch has not yet started so I figured it's no or never too defoliate and tigh them down , I am very happy with them so far and being new too all this it's all very exciting , Thanks for looking :)

Week 5-6 starting

Kings juice , amazing strain flavors 10/10 , great without curing aswell as soon as it dried I started smoking it and left abit to dry final yield was 71 grams per plant my light was kind of ass . I was using blurples but still the quality of the harvest was really good

Good bit of growth this week, plenty of bud sites forming and she is drinking alot of juice. I think she is doing really height wise, I only vegged for 4 weeks to keep her height appropriate and I don't want her to stretch too much towards the light so she's growing accordingly. I accidentally split the topped stem during transport when I forgot she was attached to the grow bag but she seems fine and getting on with it. As soon as all the budsites have formed I'm going to defoliate and get some light on them lower budsites and make her focus on growing some nice colas. Next time I will leave the LST on until about now cos she's straightened up a lot and it's a bit more crowded lower down than I would have liked. Hello Growers and Tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 Alright so... she's still growing! 😂 I sure hope this week she'll stop and she can actually start to grow out those bud sites.. Good thing about this final stretch is that the bud sites are growing along with the stretch. Glad I stopped giving her grow nutes or else she could be stretching even more. Every 10 days or so I feed them with only water and enzymes to help out with the roots. Funky smell is starting to come out. Isn't that strong yet but it's nice. OG Kush type of smell. Day 100 Day 57 Flower 06/07/24 Saturday Flushed with de-chlorinated tap water today pH 6.0. Flushing using 10L of water with Flawless finish- I'll be using this every other flush. , getting 50% run off, I can't measure ppm, I have ordered the tool to start learning this way also. I haven't measured run off ppms before so will be interesting to see. Smelling pungent, deep greens of colour coming through, hoping over the next 2 weeks she swells as she is not as dense as I was hoping 😅 Day 10day 58 Flower 07/07/24 Sunday No feed /water today letting her dry off a little more. Updated with a short 🤩💚 Day 102 Day 59 Flower 08/07/24 Monday De-chlorinated tap Water 5L pH 6.0 + 3L Water +calmag 5ml to keep her from deficiency during 1st week of flush. Updated a short video 😁 She's getting there. Day 103 Day 60 Flower 09/07/24 Tuesday No water, letting her dry off again ABIT, noticing a huge amount of trichome production, updated a short to see 😍. Day 104 Day 61 Flower 10/07/24 Wednesday Another 10L flush today , de-chlorinated tap water pH 6.0 with flawless finish. 10ml flawless finish to 10L water. Updated pictures and video. Day 105 Day 62 Flower 11/07/24 Thursday Last day of the week, another big flush today! 10L de-chlorinated tap water pH 6.0 with 10ml Flawless finish 👌 Trichomes...😍 She maybe a 21 day flush we'll see how she goes next week with ripening. Flowering time. To much PK on start. Now not nutrients. 1 week flushing.

5/8 Watered both with plain PH'd water yesterday. Both of the plants are sucking up leaves. Trichomes are only really looking amber on the brown leaves, but otherwise milky. 5/10 Decided that these brown-leaved buds on Trainwreck were ready, so I tried a little bro-science and watered an hour before harvesting. Noticed there were some really nice green young buds intertwined, so I did my best to trim around to leave them for another week or so. No weight measurements yet, will wait till after trimming and before curing.

I guess another week of growth then its over. Trichomes are quite milky And im only watering, no nutes anymore

These girls are really starting to go nuts! We have come to the end of week 5 and they are already starting to pack on the bulk. I had a little issue with nute burn earlier in the week. I think it was because I was allowing them to dry out to much. I backed it down from 975 PPM to 700 PPM for 4 days and now I am back up to 800 again and they seem to be happy. I also think that my light is just a few inches to close. Its at about 16 right now and the leaves at the top are just not looking their best. It's a 340W light so backing it up a few inches shouldn't be to big of a deal. I moved it back to 20 inches from the canopy. Hoping this helps a little. The humidity here has been absolutely WILD! Tent fluctuates between 55% and 65% and I can't make it budge without the dehumidifier which raises the temp way to high. Outside the humidity hasn't dipped below 70% in over a week. Very strange, hoping that I can keep the room clean and keep enough air moving through the tent to avoid bud rot. FINGERS CROSSED

On week 2 she is putting out much more preflowers. She is stretching for sure but still maintaining excellent node spacing. the average ppfd is 850.
