Welcome back everyone, As you can see are almost all seedlings growing. Some where still in the soil. Might happend when giving water(seedlings can turn or get deeper), checked it out and they are alive and well. All pictures are from day 4. The humidifier had been added, so I had to adjust the room. I spotted a corner of the room that gets dryer faster. I adjust the fan for now and see what happens. Corners are always hard to get perfect. Sometimes the light, air, watering doesn't come there properly. Seedlings don't need much nutrients, neighter do autoflowers. with normal soil I would recommend to only give water for 1-2 weeks, since it holds nutrients in it as well. But since I'm using Cocos for this grow, I might have to add some basic nutrients in the upcomming week. For this week I gave/give only water turns and Startbooster/rhyzotonic turns. Update day 5: - Lowerd the lights to avoid stretching, they are now at 75cm distance from lamp to pots. I want them at 40-50 cm, but I don't want to rush it. - Added another layer of cocos to avoid the soil from drying up therefore the roots from dying. This will happen because of lowering the lamps down, the soil will get exposed more to heat. As you can see, the humidifier is doing his thing haha. Pictures and videos where taken without the lights + fans on. because of that, it will look like this. Still fun thought. Arround 7 seeds didn't reach the surface yet, lets hope they make there way up soon. Enjoy!

don't doubt Zkittlez! 💪. it eats like a monster, building SUPER roots, and has great potential. it may show you the whole color spectrum, which i find pretty cool, but i also found that rare neon-green color is an awesome sight to behold! not a SUPER heavy hitter, about 19-20%, but the smooth, almost creamy, fruity, berry taste is just delicious. 10/10 !

While not drastic, this slight chill is enough to slow down growth a bit as the plants adapt. Cooler temps can encourage tighter node spacing, but they can also delay development slightly. Here’s how we’re addressing it: Proactive Monitoring: Keeping a close eye on temperature and RH trends to ensure they remain within optimal ranges. Gradual Adjustments: Slowly warming the environment with indirect heat sources if necessary, without shocking the plants. Remember, plants are incredibly resilient—and this slight delay will only make the Croco girls’ eventual growth even more rewarding. Feeding Updates: All in One Pellets & Organic Boost 🌾 This week marked a significant milestone: I introduced Aptus Holland’s All in One Pellets to the soil mix. Here’s how it went down: Preparation: Added a generous dose of the pellets to each pot. Soil Enrichment: Topped the pots with Pro Mix soil, bringing the total soil volume to 1 liter per plant. Feeding Transition: While I did one last watering with All in One Liquid, I’ll now rely primarily on: Regulator (0.15ml/L): To support stress resistance and strengthen cell walls. CalMag Boost (0.25ml/L): For calcium and magnesium supplementation, essential for strong stems and vibrant growth. Start Booster (0.25ml/L): To continue promoting robust root development. The combination of organic pellets and the Aptus liquid lineup ensures the girls have everything they need for a slow, steady nutrient release while maintaining microbial activity in the soil. Watering Technique: Bottom-Up Hydration 💧 This week, I switched to bottom-watering, a game-changer in preventing fungus gnats and promoting healthier root development. How It Works: Water is added to the tray, allowing the soil to wick moisture upwards through capillary action. Advantages: Reduces surface moisture, deterring gnats from laying eggs. Encourages roots to grow deeper as they seek water, resulting in a stronger root system. To further combat gnats, I’ve also placed yellow sticky traps around the pots. This dual strategy—bottom-watering and sticky traps—is already showing promising results. Mutant Marvels: The Funky Leaf Phenomenon 🍃 Each Croco girl is a masterpiece of mutation, with unique leaf shapes and growth patterns. No two plants are alike, and that individuality is part of what makes this grow so exciting. I’m patiently waiting for them to grow large enough to identify their sex. Here’s the plan moving forward: Option 1: Flip to 12/12 Temporarily: A one-week light flip to identify sex, then returning to veg. Pros: Fast and straightforward. Cons: Slight delay in veg growth. Option 2: Clone & Flip: Take cuttings from each plant, root them, and flip the clones to flower. Pros: Preserves the main plants in veg. Cons: Requires additional space and time for cloning. I’ll decide based on how the girls progress over the next week or two. Either way, I’m excited to unlock their potential. Photography: Capturing the Magic 📸 This week, I focused on showcasing the Croco girls’ beauty through a mix of macro photography and behind-the-scenes shots. Using both my Sony and Nikon cameras, I’ve been able to capture intricate details—from water droplet reflections to the delicate veining in their leaves. Why Use a DSLR/Mirrorless Camera? Greater sensor size allows for higher-quality images compared to even the latest smartphones. The ability to swap lenses provides flexibility for macro shots, wide angles, and close-ups. Depth of field and manual focus control ensure every shot is intentional and artistic. Lens Choices: Macro lenses (e.g., 90mm) for close-ups of leaf textures and water droplets. Standard lenses (e.g., 50mm) for portrait-style plant shots. While phone cameras like the latest iPhone can take great photos, they can’t quite match the level of detail, depth, and creative control a dedicated camera offers. This one has been delightful to grow full of buds everywhere with very little Fan leafs can't wait to cure and tested. I have cut down in jar everything the wait was 97 grams please consider that when they comes to my scale weight i wait until the main stem breaks with a loud crunch and the buds are really dry to the touch reason for it I have a very busy life and at the end of the day this is just a hobby so I cannot be opening those jars many times a day at most one in the morning and one in night so I want to avoid mold on them.so I push in a Boveda pack to keep them nice Thank you for reading I will update the other details when ready have a happy grow.

3rd flower week complete. I cant help but think I've ruined one of the 2 girls. Shes taking a really long time to recover and bud growth is slow and steady. I've defoliated for about an hour and a half tonight and now really need to get some sleep! I'll pop back tomorrow with lots more photos and a more in depth update on what has changed this week. Update........ so ive been caring for the burnt up plant throughout the week. Shes not gotten any worse but just seems a little stressed now. I decided to remove the worst of the burnt and dried up leaves last night. I know it will also cause stress but I didn't want the rotting leaves to cause any bacteria growth around the healthy plants. They've been on everyday waterings at around 1.6 EC. I've included some Hygrowzyme in the last few feeds in the hope some beneficial enzymes may help the root zone take on nutrients. Despite one of the pair being unwell the other is healthy and vigorous. Shes not getting the attention she rightly deserves so I've included lots of photos to this weeks diary. I wouldn't want anyone to be put off from growing this strain as it has so much potential. I'm hoping that the healthy plant produces the goods and leaves me wanting more.

FBA2501-week 1 of Veg This week has been wild. Once the roots made a foundation the upper growth has been explosive the last few days. Really cool to watch and see the daily growth. I introduce calmag and grow nutrients this week starting at a 1/4 strength. All in all they've responded well showing no burn what so ever. Happy

I did final transport into 2 gl fabric pots with happy frog soil. I've increased the watering to 2 cups every 48-72 hours with a nice spray to get the leaves and the top soil. I also bought this grey container that you add water to and it feeds your plants CO2 for 2 weeks. There are some plants that are 9 in but majority is about 6 3/4-7 1/4 in tall. They seem like they will be bushy. And lastly some of the leaves on 2 or 3 plants are curling inward so I'm curious to understand what's going on. I haven't gotten nutrients cause the soil has enough for 30 days and by that time it will be 4 weeks left in grow and switching to flower so I may use some the 1st 2-3 weeks after veg and flush the last 1-2 weeks.
