Apr 09: Things are chuggin along, i think light may have been a factor in the brown spots, seeing similar symptoms on one of the other plants but very very minor in comparison.... I think it was too little calmag, i may have locked them out mid veg by using high concentration of nutes without watering till runoff (i now know, that is a no-go), and light stress. i have had them under 850-1050 ppfd when flipped to flower... one of them is loving the light, one is big and bushy (had to defoliate later than i wanted), and one has good bud structure but pistils seem thin, and growth seems slower (the one with the brown polkadot party on its body) so thinking it may be stunted. either way, im seeing denser buds, and im learning the ropes, thats enough for me :) Apr 12: Last feed day... Trichomes look just about ready, will do 2 runoff waterings 48hrs apart, then 24-36 hr darkness... Will try to post trichome pics.... Super excited to see the improvements from this run vs last run...!

This week I low stress trained plant a bit and removed a few leaves that blocks light for lower nodes so it grows more equally! In the end I am moving to my main flowering tent.

This is a grow of a plant i grew many grows ago. Looking forward to re-experiencing the plant again. Ive always found barney's farm to have exceptional genetics. Recommend them as a breeder. Stay tuned

La humedad esta al 45% la temperatura está entre 21/25 grados , y como siempre el ph , ya que es de lo más importante,está en 5,8/6,0. . The next day, I watered with plain tapwater and runoff EC was the same as our tapwater. That Wednesday, was the last day I gave them water. On Friday, they had their 12 hours of light for the last time. I forgot to make a family picture just before harvest, but I did make a movie during those last hours of light. After 36 hours of darkness, I harvested on sunday. The coco had dried up quite a bit. The pots felt light to the touch, but when I removed Jannine from the tent (the one that was always in the middle), she immediately collapsed under the weight of her own buds! The same happened to Kim, only Iris was able to holdup most buds, but with a lot of effort. Apparently they had support from each other and the walls of the tent all that time. The buds were promising: heavy, hard and dense. Can't wait to see how they work out after drying and curing. Even the buds lower on the plants were not nearly as fluffy as my first grow, but more like little marbles. My first grow, I trimmed everything wet, but this time, I only removed the fan leaves and some of the bigger sugar leaves. Also, I kept the branches bigger this time. I threw a lot of the little buds in the trim pile, but since they were still looking and feeling like some good buds (but just small) I decided after harvesting the first plant, to throw them in separate containers. So I now have the trim from all the plants, mixed with some of the smaller buds from Jannine and two separate containers with the smaller buds from both Iris and Kim. It went into the freezer fresh, directly after harvest. Since I am lazy, I ordered a bubble washer, which will be delivered somewhere this week, to ease up the hash making proces. Can't wait to try some of the hash from these girls! As for most of the buds, they are drying in the tent. The circumstances could be a lot better: for weeks during flower, RH in our house was at 60%, but in the 24 hours directly after harvest, it came down to 40%. The weather changed from very humid to very dry and it will be like this until the end of the week. Considering it's about 23 degrees C in the drying room (maybe 22 during night) and the fact it will become increasingly warmer the next few days, I am worried about the buds drying to fast (by far my biggest concern), but also loosing some potency. It is now 24 hours after harvest and the buds are still pretty wet, so at least 3 days of drying should be possible, maybe 4. A few days slower would be better, but probably unlikely. Anyway, this ends my second grow. Off course, I will be back with the final results in a few weeks, after drying, curing, making hash of the trim/popcorn buds and off course, testing it all. Due to the different genetics not all plants wil be ready at the same time. I do my best to keep RM and RH as low as possible and i give medium to high dosages of nutrients. Once a week i administer amino acids. The plants are realising really strong aroma.

Transplanted everything a few days after the last diary into 5 gallon air pots. Started a cover crop and added some mulch after everything sprouted. Began training week 4. I’m intending on keeping 4 max inside the tent. Will be Peanut butter breath, Dragons Blood Hashplant, Afghani, and Velvet Krush. Other 4 x2 pbb 1xDBHP and one unknown bag seed will be going outdoors soon.

12/28 - Day 43 / Day 15 Flower - Feed Day Pots were mostly dry on this day. It has been about a week since I last fed them. I've only had two small waterings since last feed, about a half gallon of water for each of my 5 gallons and about 8oz of water for my bonsais. My plants are drying out within about 48 hours of each small watering. For today's feeding I decided to pull Grow Big out of the solution and focus exclusively on bloom nutes. My solution consisted of: - 1 gallon distilled water - 4ml CalMag - 2 tsp of FF Big Bloom (2/3 dose) - 1 tsp of FF Tiger Bloom (1/2 dose) - pH: 6.7 - TDS: 582 - EC: 1.2 The pH of my solution was down around 5.3 when first mixed so I pH'd up with baking soda to get to a final pH of 6.7. I gave each of my 5 gallons about a half gallon of the fertigated water each which wasn't enough to produce runoff. I gave them each about another 1/4 gallon distilled water to generate enough runoff to test. I tested the runoff of my Z52 which gave me readings of: - pH: 6.4 -TDS: 1620 -EC: 3.3 I gave about 12oz of fertigated water to each of my bonsais. My ZB2 runoff posted readings of: - pH: 6.8 - TDS: 718 - EC: 1.5 **************************************************** 12/30 - Day 45 / Day 17 Flower Pots were close to dry so gave each of the girls a light watering. Gave about 1/4 gallon of de-chlorinated, pH'd water to each of the 5 gallons and 6oz to the bonsais. Everything looking good aside from the fact that my girls are getting too tall for my tent. I've ratcheted my lights up as far as they'll go but the tops are now starting to get within 12". May need to take action to lower the canopy. **************************************************** 1/1 - Day 47 / Day 19 Flower Happy New Year! Pots were getting pretty dry again so provided another light watering with no nutes. **************************************************** 1/2 - Day 48 / Day 20 Flower I am officially concerned with the the distance between the tops and my lights. After reading a few forums to see what other growers have done in my situation, the consensus feedback is to do some supercropping. I ended up supercropping both of the main stems on my 5 gallon pots. I counted three nodes from the top, massaged the stem a little bit where I planned to bend and and then bent each branch to almost 90 degrees. Luckily, the stems didn't snap or show any signs of breakage. Had to remove the shelf in what should be a second compartment of my tent and attempted to do a little LST to widen my plants and lower their canopy.

Hi everyone ! Everything is OK, it's been 1 week since i switch lamp to 12/12, they are still growing, but stretch hasn't start yet. Plants on left tank are beautifull and grow very fast. they cover 60/70% of the tent 👌

7 months after planting her from seed the day is finally here. A little earlier than I would of liked due to insects (crickets/grasshoppers eating buds) but she's thereabouts finished. Probably lost 1/3 of buds from the chewing insects but still a big yield and my drying room is full 😊 She survived two rainy season's and some serious wind from a tropical depression back in September. I have kept this grow completely organic so no pesticide or chemical fertilizers used. Apart from heavily amending the soil at the start I mostly fed her crabmeal once a month and seaweed and molasses in most waterings. A few of those waterings were diluted with my urine 😆👌 NPK right!? Why not.. then at the end I added a cultured pro biotic yogurt to the soil 2 days before I harvested. (Tip from a fellow grower @med_in_tropic - thanks bro) Not sure if it made any difference as I cannot compare with another plant but, the plant starting smelling like lemon furniture polish.. like a lemon scent with a fuel undertone. Almost menthol like 🤷‍♂️.. smells amazing. Me and my wife drank tea from the trimming and the citrusy flavour came though into the tea which was nice. Weather wise the temperature is down now to around 16c at night with RH around 50% so the buds should dry much slower than the last harvest so I should get a better flavour profile. Smoke report to follow after she has been in a jar for a week or so.. I did try a bud sample a few weeks back and the taste then was already pleasant so for sure this will be fire... 🔥 Thanks for all the kind comments, this was my first ever grow start to finish.
