Week 9 - First Week of Flowering 🌸 The dark period has ended, and these ladies came back into the light fully energized and ready for action! It’s just the first week of flower, and they’re all praying, stretching, and absolutely thriving—filling up every inch of the tent. This grow space is officially packed from wall to wall, with each plant competing for its share of light and showing off some of the biggest, healthiest leaves I’ve seen yet! 🌱 A few strategic plucks here and there have kept airflow smooth and light penetration balanced. Those big leaves? They’re a sign of happy, healthy growth. Large leaves help the plant capture maximum light energy, essential during this stage, especially as they start focusing on developing those flowers. When plants grow huge, vibrant leaves like these, it means they’re well-nourished and content in their environment—a true testament to the well-balanced conditions we’ve got going in the tent! Flowering Parameters 🌡️ Room Environment: • Temperature: 26.7°C • Humidity: 63.3% • CO2: 960 ppm • VPD: 1.29 kPa (prime zone for flowering health!) Lighting: • Light Intensity: 835 PPFD (ideal for boosting flower growth) • Solution: pH 5.96, TDS 460 ppm, temp 21.1°C • Medium: Moisture: 100%, TDS: 520 ppm, Temp: 21.6°C Carbon Filter Installation & Smell Management 🌬️🌱 With the transition to flower, the scent profile is already starting to kick in—crazy for the first week, right? 🌸 To keep everything fresh and under wraps, I’ve set up a carbon filter system. Here’s how it’s working: I’ve connected the filter to my Aerofan, which pulls air directly from the tent. This air is cleaned by the filter and released into the main room, where it then passes through another filter before exiting my space. This dual-filter setup means no scent escapes into the wild, keeping things stealthy and the grow room a peaceful, scent-contained environment. Perfect for anyone concerned about keeping their home free from that telltale aroma! 🕶️🌬️ Enhanced Lighting with Emerson Effect 🌞 This week, I’ve introduced an extra 15 minutes of red light at the beginning and end of each light cycle. Why? Well, this red boost taps into the Emerson effect, enhancing photosynthesis efficiency, especially during the flowering stage. By stimulating a little extra wake-up and wind-down light, we’re mimicking the natural sunrise and sunset experience for these plants, which can help reduce flowering time. Not only does it encourage smoother transitions into day and night, but in theory, it’ll help these ladies finish a bit faster, while giving them a little nudge to build more substantial, quality flowers. 🌇 Nutrient Adjustments 🌱 Now that we’re in flower, I’ve swapped out the Start Booster for P-Boost and TopBooster to specifically support flowering needs. Here’s why: • P-Boost brings in additional phosphorus, vital for energy transfer and cell division as the plant channels more resources into budding sites. • TopBooster supports the flowering phase by improving flower quality and density, helping to build those big, aromatic buds we’re after. These changes bring the nutrient mix in line with what’s most beneficial at this stage. All this precise dialing in is easy to manage thanks to the TrolMaster system. Tag 56: Die Shogun ist der 1. Blütewoche um 18cm gewachsen, 20cm bleiben mir noch für die Lampe 😬 Ansonsten waren die letzten Tag sehr heiß draußen, und somit stieg die Temperatur bei meinen Pflanzen insgesamt um 2°C, das scheint sie aber nicht zu stören 😀 Tag 57: pünktlich nach 1 Woche Blüte konnte ich bei beiden Pflanzen (Shogun u. Triple G) ein dezenten Duft wahrnehmen. Heute ist es nochmal richtig heiß geworden, die Nacht Temperatur lag im Schnitt bei 26 °C und Tags bei 27 °C 😱, aber auch das scheint sie bisher nicht zu stören.😎 Tag 60: Es ist eine wahre Freude der Shogun beim gedeihen zuzuschauen 😍 Sie hat sehr kurze Nodien Abstände voll mit Blütenansätzen, alle Arme wachsen kerzengerade und sind super fest, was ich von der Triple G aktuell in meiner 2. Growbox nicht behaupten kann 😒 obwohl selbes Alter, selbe Bedingungen, gleiche Anzahl an Armen 😮 Tag 62: eine letztes Mal entlauben 😌 Ein paar Fussenärmchen und eine paar unnütze Blätter weggeschnippelt.

All looking healthy and they’re thriving. Just waiting for defol day. I do leaf tucking from time to time. I will change nutrients starting week 4 and add green sensation as give in the plagron feeding schedule.

Man i am so happy that i decided to enter this Supafreak journey, i am more and more in love with these one , she is just perfect and amazing. Weekly update on these big girls. They're in full flowers now but wow are they some bushy plants. The stems are solid and the flowers are everywhere. I'll be doing a defoliation on them this week to allow those lower sites to mature with the tops hopefully at the same speed. The smells is super citrus with hits of sweetness. All in all Happy

I’ve started this experience twenty day after first seeds popped of another regular in the same box, now i know that’s wrong but... now 🤣 so other error was trasplant late and other not correct situations that i will explane in next updates about early life of it, this is the result at 7/9 weeks of life , a little frosty girl

It’s pretty cool to see how a plant can grow so fast! My nephew told me this could really be therapeutic for me so far so good! I’m new to all of this and I’m starting to want to learn more I have about 9 more seeds left all auto. Photos kind of have me intimidated with all of the videos I’ve seen on YouTube…if you have any advice on them please send it my way. I want to know more about photoperiods. -Uncle Cabbage

Woche 7: Die zweite Woche der Blütephase ging es der Blattmasse erstmal an den Kragen damit die Blüten auch etwas an Licht abbekommen 😅 Anfangs dachte ich, dass ich vielleicht etwas viel weggeneommen habe. Aber im Nachhinein hätte ich den unteren Bereich der Pflanzen deutlich radikaler Entlauben können. Ich war etwas zaghaft 😅 Ansonsten habe ich weiterhin versucht die große Skywalker zumindest etwas unter Kontrolle zu bringen.. Aber da sie fast doppelt so groß wie ihre Schwestern ist, bin ich schon in Planung einer zweiten Growbox. In dieser kann sie sich wenn es soweit ist ganz alleine austoben.. doch etwas muss sie sich noch gedulden.

4 plants out of 6 are growing quite well, I only need 3 so it's alright. The growth is a bit slower than during my previous Sensi Seeds grow (if interested, see here https://growdiaries.com/diaries/157797-grow-journal-by-smokingtiki/week/869197). In my previous grow I was using a 24h light schedule so that's maybe the reason. The roots continue to reach the bottom of the pots. I increased the light power again. She has performed very good with the lst method, nice plant, fast growth, quality flowers, it's a very good choice for everyone who's looking for a good quality strain at affordable prices. Happy New Year GD people, lets put this one way behind us and look forward to the light at the end of the tunnel, its darkest before the dawn so stay lifted and safe. This weeks time lapse was a big bucket of suck! the camera was not on any plant just pointed at the floor of the tent you can see a little in the corner but all in all an epic fail. The plants did not care however, they responded well to the topping and they are getting really bushy. I raised my lights to try to help them stretch. The Strawberry Ice is a tour de force in the veg stage. The Blue Dream Haze is about average and the reboot is coming along. This Royal Gold coco "Tupur" says it can be watered up to six times a day. I have not had to water these girls for about 3-4 days the media really retains the moisture I am afraid if I water more frequently I will rot the roots. My watering is based on the pot weight. If they are heavy let them dry out and water when light. I'm giving them a late veg feeding per the Emerald Harvest 3 part nutrient series feeding chart with an added blast of CAL MAG. The TUPRU says on the bag it needs the extra CAL MAG. Time to LST these ladies for the next 2 weeks then flipping them to flower. gonna adjust the camera and hope to get a good shot the the LTS bounce back. TTFN.
