Flowering day 2: For a new strain i am so impressed with her growth. She has performed great to this stage. Her flowers are forming amazingly quickly and she is taking the quadlining very seriously. All her shoots are looking able.to bear good sized buds and her secondary ones are fighting to get to the canopy top. This early on and needing a clearout of the small pointless growth , i feel she will be a great yielder of some dense nugs. Have green days folks.

This week i need to change the reservoir again, the plants drink solution just as I add fresh water the EC stays at 2.7 and i need to add PK and Calmag so that's why. The weather outside is very cold this whole week around -18 degree Celsius at night...this made my reservoir water go under 15 degree Celsius. Welcome to Week 8 of flower...... The plants have developed a more sour lemon scent. Which is pretty lovely to the nose. Both plants have really nice dense thick buds. Plant 1 is starting to show signs of fall colours. She has always had are lime green colour to her upper leaves. Now a beautiful red colour is appearing on the edges of leaves. Plant 2 the main colas have become so heavy that they are all leaning over. I've started introducing a bit of drought stress. Holding back between waterings. I'm hoping by doing this it will help to kick the girls into overdrive and start using stored sugars. It's seems to be working on plant 1 as the leaves are starting to yellow.

I'm flabbergasted, the flowering is speeding up a bit. i think it's a hybrid and not sativa (bagseed ;)) when rubbing the bud, the smell is so sweet, a bit like some kind of lemonade without the molasses the ec was at 1.8, i took the back of a fork and scooped some mollasses with it, and stirred and shaked it in. i measured again, the ec was 2.1 the ec seems high, but plants from seed kan take a lot of nutrients, and, you shouldn't measure after adding boosters. the mollasse i use is good quality blackstrap molasse, it stimulates the soil in different ways, enzym, bacteria and nutrient levels and gives the nice sugar boost (?!) -edit - next week bacteria from fishmix (very low dosage)
