Good week for the girls..started way hot but has been getting cooler witch is great for flowering...they growing very fast now and have shot out meny new bud spots. My clones will db my yield and have been a great learning experience ...I have raise every kinda plant ..but these girls are a joy to grow... challenging ..frustrating .. but always a joy!

April 12th: I wonder... I wonder if Wedding cake has Ice Cream Cake as a parent.... *Quick google search* Nope, turns out, it's a Cherry Pie pheno crossed with Girl Scout Cookies. Well, there goes that hunch. Ice Cream Cake is a 12+ week flowering cultivar, which is why i was wondering, since this current Bubba Cheesecake pheno is Still not ready. No noticeable senescence other than a tiny bit of purple on a few sugar leaves. Wedding Cake usually takes 9-12 weeks, depending on which genetics lab is claiming flowering time. Exodus Cheese takes at least 10 weeks, from the research i've done. Pre-'98 Bubba Kush takes around 9-10 weeks to finish flowering, as well. Now it makes sense! Why my plant is on week 11 and not showing many signs of slowing down yet, that is. She drank a gallon of well water this week. I probably should've watered her again today, but oh well. I'll give her some more water tomorrow, Light intensity is still at 100%. I was hoping to be able to smoke this on 4/20, but you know what they say: Hope in one hand, poop in the other... Either way, i still find myself staring into my bloom room, at this plant. All those curves 😍

Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. Here in TegridyCal we love all our daughters but we must admit that the beautiful ones make our hearts beat faster. The Girl Scout Cookies of Zamnesia is increasingly confirmed as the queen of this round, the numerous bruches topped with perfect timing and recovered with truly effective speed and power are giving us hope. The first smells arrived, here too the first weeks of flowering we had a phenomenon of fading of the leaves probably due to too close to the light but we resolved by defoliating and distancing the queen. As you can see, the inflorescences are swelling properly and the topping with that fantastic timing / reaction ratio that I mentioned gave us bruches that will become very full in our opinion, we hope.

The plants have continued to grow very fast this week, easily doubling in size again. I moved them closer to the light to 80 cm from 90cm. Watering as needed and I am keeping the soil surface moist with light watering twice a day. I fed some Biobizz Biogrow and some organic teas this week. Low stress training was very effective and the plant responded well except one which stated quite short. I will see if it bounces back or it may be stunted.

Day-43. Girls looking good. Still in the transition. One of the StarD girls has really had a growth spurt. Using next to no nutrients. 02/05/18-Day 48- Very pleased with fast buds, my first AUTO grow and they are taking off a treat, much easier to grow than photoperiods. But then again I treat them similar in terms of just defoliating as normal and LST'ing. Probably a little bit more sensitive to nutrients.

Week 3...I've been watering each plant with about 1 cup of water a day and started back with the Nutes every 3rd day...Seems to be going good...About 2 more weeks until these Autos start to flower

Gonna harvest and hang to dry tomorrow.

11/2: I flushed all 4 of them with 8 gallons each of warm water and liquidsoil. Won't be long now....👍 11/5: I put them in the dark....harvest tomorrow! 11/6: Harvested and washed all 4 of them. They are hanging to dry and smell great!

Well, this week has been eventful. What started with a fly deciding to lay eggs in my buckets with larvae swimming around and chilling on my roots turned into a bit of a disaster. I used very weak H2O2 (diluted 3% solution). To try and clean infestation, the roots didn’t like it, even though the actual concentration of H2O2 was probs less than 0.25%. Lesson learned 🙃 It has given some of them a touch of root rot (this is an assumption because I can’t figure out what else it could have been). So growth has stunted a lot. Just before the bug problem, I increased EC to 1.1, this was probably another mistake, the smaller girls at the back with a smaller root mass got massive lock out, potassium, mag and calcium by the looks of it, coupled with a few not so well timed PH swings out of the 5.5-6.5 range gave me a lot to combat this week. But, life goes on, they’re still alive (just about)... As this is probably the hardest curve ball I’ve had thrown at me since I started growing canna, I have cut back the EC to 0.56 to allow them to heal. Probably wrongly decided to top them all as they were growing past 7th node, either it’s gonna pay off, or I’ll be posting harvest details of 0g by this time next week 👽 I am on a stay at home holiday from work for the next 3 weeks, so looks like my babies are staying in the ICU and I’ll do my best to bring them back to life 😊
