Tester 2313 is doing very well, we've started the mainlining and topped twice this week! I'll most likely keep her at 4 colas for the remainder of this grow. Really excited to see this project out! Critical Purple Kush was an effortless grow. The plant beside her got spider kites but they didn't like that CPK so much. She had a few show up on lower leaves, never any webs. I treated for them twice and they never resurfaced.

Week two I tried the scrog net but ditched it. Started using the heavy 16 line up as well. I had a spider mite issue that I squashed with neem oil. You can see they are bouncing back.

This diary will be special to me for two reasons, one because I have the opportunity to cultivate some new and exciting strains from two of the TOP breeders in the industry! The second reason this will be special to me is that I will be growing these two strains in a brand new greenhouse that I put up! I'm super stoked to see how these two ladies turn out in this new setup. On to the strains: 'Tester' Strain A info: Hybrid (I/S) | 6-7 weeks flowering | Fruity, Sweet, Candy 'Tester' Strain B info: Indica-Dominant (90%) | 7 weeks flowering | Fruity, Peppery, Sweet I hope that you enjoy this run as much as I will... It's going to be fun and interesting for sure! ~GROW WHAT YOU LOVE, LOVE WHAT YOU GROW!~ ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: These beauties will be growing in a brand spanking new 10x14' greenhouse that I have equipped with automatic window openers, a complement of Hurricane fans and a de-humidifier/heater to help keep the environment as dialed in as possible. I started both tester in glasses of tap water, where they soaked for 24hrs. After soaking, they were placed directly into whole eggshells with just their tops removed to make a natural seed starting pot that I filled with a 70/30 blend of Coco/Perlite which was pre-moistened with well water ph'd to 6.2, then placed under a 50w full spectrum LED on a 24hr light schedule. Once, they both have their second set of leaves emerged, I plan on starting to put them in the greenhouse for 2-3 hour a day for a few days to help them acclimate and 'harden off' in the greenhouse. I'll be starting both off in 1qt pots, then transplanting them into to gradually larger pots until they're around 6 weeks old, then they will go into their final pots which are 25g fabric pots. I mix my initial medium using 3 tbsp/g of Gaia Green Organics 4-4-4 along with 1 tbsp/g of Gaia Green Organics Glacial Rock Dust for the trace minerals it provides, 1 tbsp/g of Down To Earth Kelp Meal, 1 tbsp/g of Trichoderma/Mycorrhizae, and 1 cup/g of Wiggle Worm Castings. I hand mix my amendments to ensure an even distribution throughout the medium. I'll be watering with well water ph'd to 6.2-6.8 and providing bi-weekly compost tea's throughout the run. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 6/9- Here we go into the eighth week of vegetation for the two 'Testers' from Dutch Passion/SSSC and they are both growing fast and the 'Tester B' is getting tall! 6/11- Daytime temperatures outside are now hitting 90℉, and the greenhouse temps are pushing 100℉. I have plenty of air circulating using 4 fans and I'm probably going to put a shade tarp over the greenhouse if the weather continues to get any warmer. 6/13- Daily waterings continue with 2g of well water that is ph'd to between 6.2-6.7 @ 72℉ along with weekly Compost Teas. Despite the excessive heat, both 'Testers' have shown absolutely ZERO signs of any stress whatsoever which is a testament to the superior genetics in both! 6/15- Eight weeks of veg are in the rear view mirror and I'm looking forward to the coming weeks to see how these gorgeous ladies begin to slowly transition into their 'pre-flower' stage. Every has gone absolutely smooth so far with growing this girl. Full 8 weeks old today & 21 days into flower. She has a fairly strong sweet smell & her buds continue to bulk up. As I just harvested 1 plant , it's created a bit of space for me to put her into the Flowering tent for 12 hrs each day & move her back to veg for the remaining 8 hrs, as I'm running 780watts in the flower tent, hopefully this will bulk them up more. Simple L.S.T. grow grew her out a few nodes & bent her over & tied her down, doing a similar thing with the side branches. Then I've just let her go & do her own thing & haven't done anything other than feed her, haven't really had to do any defoliation as there's not that many leaves on her naturally. When I started this Grow, i never expected such a vigor Plant, and i havent been reading about the XL-Versions. But now its clear, by incrossing the Ruderalis, the Plants grows explosive and extremly Strong I had to move them out of the small Cabinet after i took them into the Floweringroom, they continued to Grow and in the End the Plants got 130 cm Hight I wished i had grown them in bigger Pots But i started them into 5l ( fitting into my Growbox) and it was to late to transplant them 3 of 4 Plants turned darkpurple-one was pink. Harvesting was an easy Job, because of those lovey Budshape, they are growing symmetric konic along the Branches they were Smelling like Peach, and some musky Undertone while Harvesting them ,i got a Smell of fresh pressed Applejuice and some " green smell" Plants were covered with sticky trichomes, very courious to the endproduct Its an easy to grow Plant, if you know about her vigourness 😂 Iam very pleased with the grow welldone @Sweet_seeds
