Welcome growers First fourteen days of flowering ended for these two BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE 🍰 The flowers are scattered and are more or less at the same ripeness for each 🌻🌻 Ten days ago the plants were suffering a little and now they show some difficulties.. But that's nothing too worrying ! In these cases there will be "problems" only at the level of final yield.. But I think I saved them in time 🏥 We will see in the coming weeks.. Let’s Go Day 67 from seed !! So this week went real great! 2 Ogreberrys an Bruce Banner started getting flushed! The rest will follow up and start flush next week ! Today the 3 will continue getting flushed while the 3 others get there dose of nutrients, PHd at 6.5! Let’s grow lil ladies let’s grow!!! 54DLI @ 12 hours The stem that snapped clean off in week 5, the resulting stress seems to have made a 2ft solid massive cola, probably the biggest individual I've grown, albeit she had signs of stress, and I felt like she was a little behind in the floral development compared to others, but as the rest of the plants start to settle down with packing on mass, the stressed colawas just getting started. Super interesting to see the difference that the snap made to the base of the stem overall, as I know before the snap, they were all the same girth or thereabouts. Neat little lucky accident, maybe I'll try something next grow. Start to cool things off now. YB.

July 25: mostly recovered from the hail storm two weeks ago. Now one week into force flowering and she is stretching. Looks really good. July 26: watered with compost tea this morning. July 28: in garage at 7:20 pm to avoid incoming heavy thunderstorm and good chance of hail. Rainiest summer ever here. No 730 nm red light and I will bring out again at 7 am to preserve close to 12 h of darkness. July 29: added strings and weights to space out the scrog net. Added malted barley, soil, some gypsum (for Ca), and Epsom salts (for Mg) and even a bit of dolomite (for Ca and Mg without sulphate). Key ingredient is the malt which is great for flowering stage.

Coming along, I find the urge to just let it grow vertically but last grow I was a little underwhelmed with the spread once the canopy was past the stretch, I will look to continue LST , really starting to thicken up around the base. Plant must be feeling the need for extreme reinforcement of stem trunk as the extra weight of vertical growth on the long supporting stems have little in way of support. Filled waterbeads with a concoction of nitrogen, vitamin b, humic, phosphorus, omina. Added aluminum suplhate to help PH medium, strain likes it slightly acidic.

Strong smelling now and very sticky, started bloom, bulk and microbs from growgancia...not letting me add these. Not a lot of changes, watching the magic happen :) Much love Littlefoot

Welcome growers More then 35 days was passed of life for this lady, CREAM CARAMEL 🍬🍭🍫 Looking closely at it, it is already starting to develop pre-flowers, even before officially going into bloom The look is pretty good, happy and a nice color So far I have never had a problem with Sweet Seeds genetics, despite never having found anything that mind blowing me But maybe she will be Anyway In this week i have reduced the lights cycle from 16/8 on/off to 14/10 on/off 💡 At the same time i have increase the intensity of my two led SP3000 from 50% to 75% and im going to put them at the maximum potency after the switch at 12/12 The two led panel are connected with a cable and i have only to adjuste the dimmer of one of them for change the intensity of each one, in just one move.. About nutrients 👇 In this week i still giving their always organic/veganic nutrients.. My homework. Rubisco regeneration is intrinsically linked to nitrogen supply because Rubisco is a major sink for nitrogen in plants, typically accounting for 15% to over 25% of total leaf nitrogen. The regeneration phase itself consumes nitrogen through the synthesis of the Rubisco enzyme and associated proteins (like Rubisco activase), and overall nitrogen status heavily influences the efficiency of RuBP regeneration.Structural Component: Nitrogen is an essential building block for all proteins, and the sheer abundance of the Rubisco protein makes it the single largest storage of nitrogen in the leaf. Synthesis and Activity: Adequate nitrogen supply is crucial for the synthesis and maintenance of sufficient Rubisco enzyme and Rubisco activase (Rca), the regulatory protein responsible for maintaining Rubisco's active state. Nitrogen deficiency leads to a decrease in the content and activity of both Rubisco and Rca, which in turn limits the maximum carboxylation rate, Vmax, and the rate of RuBP regeneration Jmax, thus reducing overall photosynthetic capacity. Nitrogen Storage and Remobilization: Rubisco can act as a temporary nitrogen storage protein, which is degraded to remobilize nitrogen to other growing parts of the plant, especially under conditions of nitrogen deficiency or senescence. Nitrogen Use Efficiency (NUE): The allocation of nitrogen to Rubisco is a key determinant of a plant's photosynthetic nitrogen use efficiency (PNUE). In high-nitrogen conditions, plants may accumulate a surplus of Rubisco, which may not be fully activated, leading to a lower PNUE. Optimizing the amount and activity of Rubisco relative to nitrogen availability is a target for improving crop NUE. Photorespiration and Nitrogen Metabolism: Nitrogen metabolism is also linked to the photorespiration pathway (which competes with carboxylation at the Rubisco active site), particularly in the reassimilation of ammonia released during the process. To increase RuBisCO regeneration, which refers to the process of forming the CO2 acceptor molecule Ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate (RuBP) during photosynthesis, the primary methods involve optimizing the levels and activity of Rubisco activase (Rca) and enhancing the performance of other Calvin-Benson-Bassham (CBB) cycle enzymes. Biochemical and Environmental Approaches: Optimize Rubisco Activase (Rca) activity: Rca is a crucial chaperone protein that removes inhibitory sugar phosphates, such as CA1P (2-carboxy-D-arabinitol 1-phosphate), from the Rubisco active site, thus maintaining its catalytic competence. •Ensure optimal light conditions: Rca is light-activated via the chloroplast's redox status. Adequate light intensity ensures Rca can effectively maintain Rubisco in its active, carbamylated state. •Maintain optimal temperature: Rca is highly temperature-sensitive and can become unstable at moderately high temperatures (e.g., above 35°C/95F° in many C3 plants), which decreases its ability to activate Rubisco. Maintaining temperatures within the optimal range for a specific plant species is important. •Optimize Mg2+ concentration: Mg2+ is a key cofactor for both Rubisco carbamylation and Rca activity. In the light, Mg2+ concentration in the chloroplast stroma increases, promoting activation. •Manage ATP/ADP ratio: Rca activity depends on ATP hydrolysis and is inhibited by ADP. Conditions that maintain a high ATP/ADP ratio in the chloroplast stroma favor Rca activity. Enhance Calvin-Benson-Bassham (CBB) cycle enzyme activity: The overall rate of RuBP regeneration can be limited by other enzymes in the cycle. •Increase SBPase activity: Sedoheptulose-1,7-bisphosphatase (SBPase) is a key regulatory enzyme in the regeneration pathway, and increasing its activity can enhance RuBP regeneration and overall photosynthesis. •Optimize other enzymes: Overexpression of other CBB cycle enzymes such as fructose-1,6-bisphosphate aldolase (FBA) and triose phosphate isomerase (TPI) can also help to balance the metabolic flux and improve RuBP regeneration capacity. Magnesium ions, Mg2+, are specifically required for Rubisco activation because the cation plays a critical structural and chemical role in forming the active site: A specific lysine residue in the active site must be carbamylated by a CO2 molecule to activate the enzyme. The resulting negatively charged carbamyl group then facilitates the binding of the positively charged Mg2+ion. While other divalent metal ions like Mn2+ can bind to Rubisco, they alter the enzyme's substrate specificity and lead to dramatically lower activity or a higher rate of the non-productive oxygenation reaction compared to Mg2+, making them biologically unfavorable in the context of efficient carbon fixation. The concentration of Mg2+ in the chloroplast stroma naturally increases in the light due to ion potential balancing during ATP synthesis, providing a physiological mechanism to ensure the enzyme is activated when photosynthesis is possible. At the center of the porphyrin ring, nestled within its nitrogen atoms, is a Magnesium ion (Mg2+). This magnesium ion is crucial for the function of chlorophyll, and without it, the pigment cannot effectively capture and transfer light energy. Mg acts as a cofactor: Mg2+ binds to Rubisco after an activator CO2 molecule, forming a catalytically competent complex (Enzyme-CO2-Mg2+). High light + CO2) increases demand: Under high light (60 DLI is a very high intensity, potentially saturating) and high CO2, the plant's capacity for photosynthesis is high, and thus the demand for activated Rubisco and the necessary Mg2+ cofactor increases. Mg deficiency becomes limiting: If Mg2+ is deficient under these conditions, the higher levels of Rubisco and Rubisco activase produced cannot be fully activated, leading to lower photosynthetic rates and potential photo-oxidative damage. Optimal range: Studies show that adequate Mg2+ application can enhance Rubisco activation and stabilize net photosynthetic rates under stress conditions, but the required concentration is specific to the experimental setup. Monitoring is key: The most effective approach in a controlled environment is to monitor the plant's physiological responses e.g., leaf Mg2+ concentration, photosynthetic rate, Rubisco activation state, and adjust the nutrient solution/fertilizer to maintain adequate levels, rather than supplementing a fixed "extra" amount. In practice, this means ensuring that Mg2+ is not a limiting factor in the plant's standard nutrient solution when pushing the limits with high light and CO2. Applying Mg2+ through foliar spray is beneficial to Rubisco regeneration, particularly in alleviating the negative effects of magnesium (Mg) deficiency and high-temperature stress (HTS). While Mg can be leached from soil, within the plant it is considered a mobile nutrient, particularly in the phloem. Foliar-applied Mg is quickly absorbed by the leaves and can be translocate to other plant parts, including new growth and sink organs. Foliar application of: NATURES VERY OWN MgSO4 @ 15.0g L-1 in a spray bottle. Foliar sprays are often recommended as a rapid rescue measure for existing deficiencies or as a supplement during critical growth stages, when demand for Mg is high. Application in the early morning or late evening can improve absorption and prevent leaf burn. The starting point [of creativity] is curiosity: pondering why the default exists in the first place. We’re driven to question defaults when we experience vuja de, the opposite of déjà vu. Déjà vu occurs when we encounter something new, but it feels as if we’ve seen it before. Vuja de is the reverse—we face something familiar, but we see it with a fresh perspective that enables us to gain new insights into old problems.

15.06.25. Day 46. Just a reminder that 2 seedlings died at start of grow. Big plant is drinking alot of water, I had to top up her reservoir with about 2 liters of water on 2 sperate occasions. High day time temperatures lately. Approximately 34°C. 16.06.25. Day 47 Changed out reservoir on small plant.

Hey dudes, The final defoliation took place at the beginning of the week. Since then, the lady has just been allowed to grow. I had a bit of a problem with the low humidity. So I helped myself with a 10L bucket, a fogger and a timer. There's nothing else to mention, the plant looks great. What more could I want? Oct.7 day 68 buds are still stacking and getting harder every day & trichomes on all plants are now milky except for Trainwreck #2 which has turned into a long flowering sativa. Powdery mildew has gotten a little out of control on most of the potted girls so I started the long & tedious task of harvesting 1 plant per day starting with Blue Fire #1. Being a one-man operation I’m not looking forward to all the work that lies ahead however judging by the look and smell of these babies, should be well worth it in the end. Oct.8 day 69 cut down all the main colas on Blue Fire #2 & Strawberry Banana #2. Giving the lower branches a few more days to finish then chop chop and into the freezer. 😜😁👌 Oct.10 day 71 cut down all the main colas on Godfather OG #2 and keeping the rest for fresh frozen water hash. Also started trimming Godfather OG #1 eight days after she was harvested. First time drying in the garage which is detached from the house and is not insulated. Average temps in there this week were low 50's-60's F and 55-70% humidity. My concern was temps being too low and the fluctuating humidity. So far after eight days of hang drying in the garage with 2 small fans lighty blowing directly on the colas, God father OG #1 was dry and ready for final trim. That worked out better than I hoped. 🙌 Oct.11 day 72 Trainwreck #2 got chopped whole and is hanging. I would normally trim it up quite a bit before hang drying but I need a break today. Oct.12 day 73 Strawberry Banana #1 finally got chopped today. I shot a video of it in time lapse which compresses my five hour chop time to about one minute. Candace hasn't recovered from overwatering. The pot is very light / dry, but the leaves still droop. They aren't crispy, discolored, curling, or taco, just droopy. I'm concerned if I let the pot dry completely it will force the microbes to go dormant and the short flower cycle may never catch up. She has the perfect structure to be a monster but this leaf drooping is not helping at all! She doesn't even need LST! Sheryl looks to have recovered fine but is much smaller and bushier than Candace. I skipped the preflower top dress because this strain has a 4 week flower cycle. I'll keep feeding them SimPro once a week. If I top dress, I'll never be able to get a good fade on these. Day 36 Bottom watered both with plain PH water. Day 37 - Both liked the bottom watering. Candace is 9" Sheryl is 11.25". LST the side branches on both. Day 41 The leaves had bounced back, but are now droopy again, which tells me they're thirsty. I have two small lower leaves on both plants show PK deficiency, so they're hungry too. Whipped up a tea using Roots Organics Terp Tea Bloom, Azoz, & Simpro Bloom. Each got 1Ml of Fish Sh!t & CalMag.

These are going great guns got some nicely spaced branches and as you can see now from the one plant (bonus seed) has given me 3 main head's so I've removed a few leafs as well so light can get right in their for the new nodes

Canopy filling out nicely. Still on the veg feed but flower is nearly out so just gonna too up the tanks then change to bloom nutrients in the next few days. Roots looking good.

What a week! Despite battling a historical heatwave, the Amnesia Haze ladies have continued to push forward. The canopy is becoming more even as the SCROG fills out, with more tops finding their place above the net. The training is paying off, creating a broad, level canopy that should make the most of the flowering stretch. The intense temperatures definitely increased their thirst. Water consumption has risen significantly, and the plants are now drinking around 1.5L per plant every third day. Even under the challenging conditions, they're showing healthy new growth and responding well to the stable feeding routine. A few older fan leaves still carry signs of previous stress, but the fresh growth looks vigorous and the plants are focusing their energy on building strong tops. With the structure now well established, it's mostly a matter of continuing to tuck branches, maintaining the environment, and getting ready for the flip. 📊 Stats so far: 💧 Watering: 1.5L per plant every third day 🌡️ Temp: 28–30°C (despite the historical heatwave outside) 💦 Humidity: 80% RH 📈 VPD: ~1.02 kPa 💡 Light: ~500 PPFD The SCROG is filling in nicely, the roots have settled into their new homes, and the plants are proving just how resilient they can be—even in record-breaking summer conditions.
