I will be using these on water days from now on as they are advised to be used every irrigation. Day 35 04/08/24 Sunday END OF WEEK 😁 De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 today with Plagron products. 300ml each. Had a issue with leaf invaders this week, I have treated and am checking every 48 hrs so far seems ok and not progressive. All plants look great, very healthy, one of the Overdose is way behind and due to space maybe culled at flower I'll see how she gets on.

DISCLAIMER START As already stated in previous week comments my EC reading was totally off, this includes CF. It showed about 1500µS/cm when it was actually about 3000µS/cm. I did not calibrate the EC probe since I've bought it and used it 18 months ago, because I thought EC calibration is not really necessary, I was wrong. correct EC/CF values are from 2025-04-01 on wards. (no april fools joke) DISCLAIMER END Moved the plant from the 120x120cm tent to my usually used 120x60cm tent since the plant will not grow bigger anymore, that is also when I noticed the false EC value due to the monitoring setup in the 120x60cm tent showing the high value after I moved solution from one tent to the other, which I double checked with EC calibration solution. Drastically reduced EC from previously about 3000µS/cm to ~2000µS/cm Plant is growing just fine now but the damage is done, looking back at week 2 when I did "1700µS/cm" which pretty much equaled real 3400µS/cm it is kind of crazy that it even did as good as it did, would have imagined worse with a value this high. This also rules all genetic, light etc. etc. possibilites out for me, I was pretty sure the error was on my end that I missed something and I am very confident to say it was the super high EC value. I already set up a new system in the 120x120cm tent and will transplant the small "Permanent Jealousy XL Auto" seen in the timelapse in to that some-when next week, a "Red Gorilla Girl XL Auto" is also going to go in there but as seen in the timelapse these seeds kinda don't want to, the first didn't do much beyond sprouting and the second one is also super fragile and slow, stay tuned for that diary. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. In week 10 I have some plants, which have grown taller than the rest (canopy is appr. 80 cm high now). In order to not have to raise my lamp, I rather correct their height by 'supercropping' them. Supercropping is a technique developed by SOMA from SOMA_seeds and works VERY WELL. Instead of topping your plants (=cutting off the main stem) it is better to take the main stem between your fingers (appr. 15-20 cm form the top) and brake the fibers inside and then bend it downwords. This way the stem will stay intact and heal itself and you dont loose the main buds growing on it later. In the video above I show and explain how I supercrop a plant. The plants are now getting more and more into flowering and therefore I switch the dimmer on my SANlight EVO4-120 plants to 100% now (see in video above). The BIO NOVA nutrients are increased as well a little bit, so the plants can build big buds.

Day 70: Brain Cake seemed thirsty and wanting more nutrients: Topped off water yesterday, added +3ml of hyro A&B and +1ml of power roots & pure enzyme. EC went from 0.8 -> 1.0 Day 71: Brain Cake is showing symptoms, many top leaves have deformed tips and light interveinal chlorosis starting on opposite end of the tip and dark interveinal chlorosis at the end of the tip. EC is 0.8-0.9 (not very accurate meter :/ ) Not sure whether this is a nutrient deficiency or excess/lockout. The ph has been between 5.6 and 6.5 most of the time the past week, the reservoir change was 4-5 days ago. Plagron indicates to give more hydo A&B in proportion to their roots and enzyme nutrients in the first weeks of flowering (during veg these are given in proportion), so maybe these new problems are due to the different balance of nutrients that I may have times wrongly. Finally the problems may be due to the water reservoirs holding approx 12 liters in practice and the Brain Cake drinks approx 2-3.5L a day so maybe the water res is very unstable but after a day the PH usually remains in range and the EC usually drops a bit the first day after adding nutrients and stays pretty stable the rest of the week. Any suggestions are more than welcome! Day 72: Yesterday evening made an upgraded reservoir for the Brain Cake dwc (as we suspect the leaf problems may be due to instable water because of small res and roots nearly completely filling the res). Now the Brain Cake is in a 60L box with approx 32L of water, EC set to 1.0 and ph 5.7-6.5. She seems to be happy, nice and perky this morning. FYI the roots seem more orange in the video! They are on the white side though, just a bit of stain from the nutrients but looking very good overall.

Extremely frustrated with bugs that got taken care of with some neem oil and ladybugs. Now this Northern Lights went from a front runner to completely sick and dying. Idk how it happened to just one plant and in a short period of time. All in all though, everything else growing is fine besides the Northern Lights.

Day 22 - She's doing okay! Had a minor PH issue the other day due to a cheap meter, which has been replaced. Her bottom first fan leaves are a tiny bit brown as a result. Her roots are clean and nice looking, thanks to the Hydroguard. She seems to be doing all around very well. Definitely have to check and adjust PH daily to keep her under control, however. Day 26 - So I moved her to a new, non-visible home. Not because of any failure of the visible setup, but because at one gallon, it was just plain too small. She was going through water so quickly that I was having to redo her whole tank every two days. Was becoming too much maintenance. If I can put together a three gallon clear setup I will move her over to it. That is the plan at least. If not, she'll be a bucket girl. She's doing well and thriving, so everything is cool on that front.

I cant state enough how dank this plant is. The smell on her is so sour it makes your nose burn. The smallest flowers are a little bigger than golf balls and rock hard. With 20-30 days to go, I am excited to see the results.

Hey guys! I hope quarantine is going well for everyone! And remember to stay at home if you can ✊ Regarding my babies, this week's update was OK. Nothing really happened besides that I once again missed my watering schedule 😟 and heat was not being kind. The tent reached a maximum temp. of 32° C (or 89.6° F) which as a lot but sadly there's little I can do about that 😢 There's a photo this week that shows how Pistachio looks after I didn't water her in the right day, the recovery is impressive! I also increased the amount of PK and gladly there are no signs of over fertilization as well, so I'll keep doing this! 😃 Trichomes are developing, some of them are white-ish but most of them are still transparent. They are getting there! I also learned a new technique for my macro photographies so probably they'll be better this week compared to previous ones! I'm eager to know what you all think! 😊 Anyway, see you all in my next update! 👋
