Week 5 of flower and seed production for all these plants has started in earnest. We cleaned up the tent somewhat and took down all the males after having done their job. Alls left is to wait for finish now. The nute deficiency appears to have corrected itself now that we’ve balanced out the ratios a little more. The WPM is no match for the sodium bicarbonate but still gonna have to keep on top of that to the end of the grow. Full fumigation of the grow spaces will be required - multi-day process I am not looking forward to. Time cleaning is time not growing, sadly. We’re coasting to the finish now but should still have some decent updates on our super secret seed harvesting method once they’ve fully matured😉👍. Hope everyone’s well and grow’n that straight 🔥. In the event that does take place we’ve got a single clone of each strain from the previous pollen chuck to sit in the tent with them so they can make babies for the next few months. The whole point of the last year was to start making some foundational genetics for a third generational cross we could call our own. If you’ve been following along than you’ll know that it’s been anything but easy. Our previous pollen picks didn’t pan out at all so we’re back to the drawing board with a new option from ExoticSeeds. This’ll be a 10 plant run with 5 regs and 6 strains for pollination including the strain itself. We’re running in a 2x4 MarsHydro grow tent all powered by a Mars Sp6500. That’s a little more than 600w packed into half the recommended footprint😳. Why? you ask - because we like our buds big and overcompensatory😂. Really, I’m just of the mind that we can pack more light into this space than recommended and get much better results. The math doesn’t lie. In addition, we’ve also moved to a new nutrient system - Druid Nutrients out of the Netherlands. They don’t really have a presence on GD yet but you’ll be hearing about them very soon I’m sure. The beauty of this system is that it’s literally a 1 (one) component system for the entirety of the plants grow cycle. It really has changed the game in terms of ease of feeding and maintenance. It’s also very versatile and seems to provide everything needed across multiple different strains in the same ratios. Keep your eyes peeled for these folks. Pretty much a guarantee that they absolutely blow up once more people know about them👍👌😎. Strain Background Spicy Bitch: predominantly sativa, heavy yielder with a daytime kinda trip profile. It’s a cross of Queen Mother and a Pre-2000 AK47. We’ll pull what pollen we can and hope to have a female run out a larger supply of seed for the future. It’s a compact and squat plant requiring very little maintenance. Typical for the strain really. It’s been chosen as an option to potentially mellow out the high , shorten the stature of the resulting hybrid and inject it with some of that mellow indica effect. Boogie Nights - total shot in the dark. Still haven’t even tried the strain myself yet but it was available at the right time and interesting enough to make a salad with. Big thanks to AMS who’ve been nothing short of an excellent seedbank to collaborate with. Expect similar growth characteristics to that of the Northern Lights. Better resilience however. Blueberry - this particular clone is from extremely strong stock. Spliff seeds broke the mold with this strain. She’s lower maintenance than the NL, more resilient than anything else we’ve got on the menu and the terp. Profile on this girl is out of this world. If we can bring any of these qualities to the cross, then it could be magic👌. White Widow - garrghh, I just can’t get away from this particular plant. Again, still haven’t even tested the buds yet and all I can say is that the growth characteristics are extremely vigorous and desirable. This plant is one of 3 unicorns that I have yet to tame due to a combo of extremely bad luck and circumstance. All told, it’s still the same story: a VERY experimental breeding project designed to shotgun a broad swath of genetics against a reliable and dependable Breeder who’s put out proven fire 🔥🤟😎👍.

Day 22 22/07/24 Monday Nothing new to report. Starting to see them beautiful fans appear that's all 😁✌️ Day 23 23/07/24 Tuesday Feed today, giving them straight all nutes Inc flowering nutes. I will update the dose as they grow and develop a bigger hunger. (Not sure what's wrong with Overdose #2, bit mutated, we'll see how she gets on 😅) Video updates 👌💚 Day 26 26/07/24 Friday De-chlorinated watering pH 6 with 5ml calmag to 5L water. Watered each with 250ml and had small run off. I will continue to feed/water with small run offs to help prevent salt build ups. Video update.

Great week. Girls finishing up and taking longer to drink. Checked trichomes and this plant is ready with mostly cloudy and a spattering of amber. Will harvest tomorrow morning and will provide weights and measures after harvest. Will dry in tent without light and offset circulation. Will keep tent naturally at 67 degrees. I will need to assist with humidifier to get humidity to around 60 RH. Perhaps a wicking cloth in a bucket? Just thinking out options. Update: Cut down the girls and hang them up to dry. Great thick hard buds. Can't wait to see what they smoke like, but it is going to take time to dry. Thanks to everyone that helped to make this a successful harvest. I will weigh the harvest before starting cure after a closer trim.

harvest day for the AK47 and Amnesia Haze

[Day 47] 08/13/21 - It's hard to believe these are all the same strain. Looks like 4 phenotypes at play. They all have differences in growth type, smell and size. #4 has zero trichomes so far and not the most pleasant scent. The others have a very pleasant smell with subtle differences between them.

She's growing steady. Trying too keep up with her sisters.😑

Last week Continued to flush on 9/26

2 plants made it to harvest. Small nugs, about an ounce per plant dry. A lot of frosty trim and small nugs I’ll be using for hash later. I had rooting issue when I flipped to flower that definitely negatively effected nutrient uptake. Small yield but quality is good. Smells almost like a sugary jelly bakery. Cured for a week, tastes sweet almost.

Today is day 77 so we are starting week 12 .. all the plants are doing great 👍 Gummiebears is the real star of the show as she's double any other girls I have going right now.. she in 4 gallon pot and is around 44 to 45 inches tall and has so so many bud sites that are stacking fast.. she is 2 weeks behind in flower but you wouldn't know it .. Grease Gun and Froot by the foot are almost ready for the flush stage , today I fed them next to nothing.. Cream however is still getting full dose and she taking it well ...... Early on I cut the lowest 2 branches and cloned them and stuck them in a vase with nutrient water fore 10 days then stuck them in dirt and boy have they takin off .. they started to reveg and I look forward to seeing how crazy that gets ... pictures about illustrating what they once where vs now .. hope all is well.. In the beginning of this week ( Monday in the late afternoon) I started seeing some burnt tips. Not really a big deal if you give less nutrients in the future, but i don't like it. Thats why i decided to flush my plants and check the run-off. PH levels where decent but the EC was to high. Not a suprise because I forced them a bit last week by giving some more nutrients. So right now my PH and EC for the kushes are arround PH 5.8-6 with 1.3-1.5 EC and for my shamans PH 6.3-6.4 with ec 1.5-1.6 After my flush, I gave all the plants some Canna RHIZOTONIC ( root stimulator). I advice everyone to give root stimulator after stressing the plant out with like flushing. In this grow i always weight my pots, therefor i always know when to perfectly feed them. They dronk 9 to 10 liters of water/feeding in like 96hours(4 full days) which is insane because it wasn't that sunny/hot (evaporation) and they are not trees being in the open ground. and maybe the most importent thing is that normaly your roots will stress a bit because of overwatering(flushing) and will go into a shutdown or having a hard time for a period as a result that your pots will stay heavy(full of water) for some days. In my case, this didn't happen at all. Wednesday I sprayed all the leafs with Canna Cure for some nice leaf nutrients,getting rid of minor trips and to prevent other unwanted renters. Friday I started feeding them again with nutrients, like 2-3 liters each plant and today I gave them water 2-3 liters each plant with only Enzymen in it. It was a crazy thirsty week for them with an average of 1.6-1.7 liters a day😅 Sadly one lower branch got damaged and had to get rid of it but I didn't mind that much since these buds where far behind other buds in developement. I placed one bud under the microscope for fun and saw insane amounts of thc on it haha, and that for just week 5 of flowering for a outside grow. Made a picture of it, just take a look at it. - Critical kushes started getting into preflower, finnally!! but still, only 6 weeks left before it gets to cold outside. - Did some LST again because the criticalkushes are still stretching. They might still stretch for another 1 to 2 weeks, its getting out of hand haha. - Shamans and the critical kushes get different feeding schedules, Should had done that waaaaay earliyer but I didn't care about it until now. - Forgot to supercrop my plants LOL, for the shamans it is to late, don't want to stress them out in their stage, but i did in on the kushes, since they are only 1 week in flowering, still growing a bit, it would't harm them that much. No need for steering them around, already done that. Just doing it to stress them out a bit so they will send more nutrients to the branches for bigger yield. Have to keep remind myself that this is just an outside fun grow but I just can't help myself buying stuff and wanting to do more/better. Hope you guys enjoyed watching and reading.

Hi guys, as we are in isolation I thought it would be a good time to try and grow my own weed so got my self a 1.2 x1.2x2 tent 600w hps light and all the shogun nutrients I’ll need. Also running a 4” carbon filter system. I did some research on the best way to start autos and I went with just planting them straight into there final pots on 18/4/20 the medium I am using is already charged so using just 6.8 ph water with the light been on 24hrs. All 3 seeds Sprouted in 72hrs. Going to keep the light on 24hrs for another 4 days then will switch to 18/6 in week 2. Was struggling with low humidity a couple of days in, so purchased a humidifier which seems to have helped bring it up to between 60- 75%. Also adapted the clean air intake to my tent so it’s bringing in cool out side air. Can’t help but keep on checking on them like a kid in a sweet shop 😂.

I trimmed these a little early because I am going away for two weeks. The person taking care of them will only water them.That's why I trim them.Hopefully when I return, one would be ready to harvest and the other two would be finishing up shortly after. The last couple posts of this might just be screenshots until I return and harvest. I defoliated a lot of the leaves that were covering nug sites a lot of leaves that returning a slightly different color.

Last two weeks were pretty harsh for the plants. This is week 10 and in Week 11 I will harvest due to moving to a new appartment. Summer hit with full force and a struggled to have a day without humidity or heat issues. Tried to nail the VPD which worked but I had to run high humidity in high temperatures. The Blueberry started to become purple and the Weddign Glue started to die. Maybe due to the heat, I did my best to keep her alive.

It was a longer road until here. With all the reading I did I still made rookie mistakes. To much nutrients and to much light stunt my plant and created some deficiencies ( CaMg). Hopefully I will do ok from now on.... Lifted the light at 3 feet on 100% power and decreased the PPM’s to 600. Hopefully that will help and I did not create to much damage. Wish me luck. I invested a lot of time and money on this grow but the experience is not there yet. I’m ok with what it is, I’ve learned a lot from this grow.

Adding week 4, as I had it in "germination" in the diary a week too long. Brings it in line with it's size/maturity. Messed up my lighting for 48ish hours, left on 24hrs a day, due to flip flopping on going to flower.
