Power Plant XL nr1 is 55 cm Power Plant XL nr2 is 49 cm ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Strain information Genetics for the famous Power Plant were captured by a group of Dutch growers on a trip to South Africa, back in the 90’s. They managed to breed a strain that was soon a popular choice in coffee shops of the Netherlands, most likely due to the soaring and intense Sativa high. Zambeza Seeds thought that the productiveness of Power Plant should never be forgotten and created an updated version, to bring the legend back to live. Power Plant XL yields up to 600-750g/m² in a flowering period of approximately 55 days! The efficiency and productiveness of Power Plant XL fears no comparison with many recently bred cannabis strains. Indoor heights of 80-110cm make this sativa-dominant variety relatively easy to grow, but outdoor growers need to be aware of the power that is being released under the sun. Outdoor plants can easily reach heights of 150-200cm, and yields of 500-600g per plant. The taste of Power Plant XL can be described as a delightful blend of sweet and sour flavours, with subtle hints of pine tree in the background. Smokers who appreciate a very strong and uplifting Sativa high will be more than satisfied with the effects. One will experience feelings of euphoria that are definitely intense and uplifting, typical for a South African Sativa like this. The up-high can also evolve into being more relaxed, especially when larger quantities are being consumed. Some people suspect Power Plant to be grown in large commercial operations around the world. My main issue its yellowing of the wedding cake. think i as to do with the cold weather as she is the close to the door. I allso burned then a litle with the foliar. So this is the week I found out all about PPFD, PAR and LUX, basically all the basic info one needs to understand how lighting works. So I brought down the 300W LED I have down to 18cm from the plants since that's the spot where I get 1000 PPFD. Since I don't have a quantum meter to measure this directly, I instead measured the LUX output of the LED light with a free app on my phone and then converted the LUX to PPFD using an online converter. Also bought real nutes, more specifically the GHE Flora Duo 500ml tri-pack. As a result I also switched up the feeding schedule, so now I'm feeding them every three days, and doing water only every three feeds. A bit late in the process, but hey, first grow! 😅 Finally, the first amber thricomes are showing, yay! 😍

Lost the top two colas due to bud rot after 2 weeks of storms :( apart from that she is a fantastic strain to grow an absolute pleasure

This was my best hield so far. Last year got the same in 5 plants, now I made it with just 4. Not having to grow during the heat of July and august helped the plants a lot, as my tent catches some sun during the mornings. The smell is amazing, a tropical flavour with a lot of crystals. I gave them a 48h dark period for them to realize their cycle was coming to the end. For sure I will try to improve next time with the same seeds but with another set of nutrients. Last watering, I tested the runoff PH as below 4. I flushed 25gallons through the soil, which brought PH back up around 6. I then Fed with 2.5 gallons of 1tsp/gal Floranova bloom(750ppm) PH to 8, and Runnoff came out above 6. Today I Fed her 2.5 Gallons of 1tsp/gal Floranova bloom(750ppm) PH to 8, and Runnoff came out at ~5.5 I'm pretty sure the "Dry Koolbloom" is what caused the PH to start drifting downwards...

The cal mag deficiency that hit hard early on during the stretch is showing, fuckin hate bad batches of soil. This stuff had little to none in it I couldn’t get enough added in to keep her happy. All in all just goes to show how fire these genetics are because the flowers she’s put out however lacking in size they may be look like an amazing head stash Happy growing y’all thanks for watching 📺

⚡️⚡️ Instant Organic Feeding starts here!⚡️⚡️ Hi Growmies~! This lady also hasn't fed with top dress for 3-4 weeks now Just feeding home made veg. nutrient. No Cal/Mag, or other nutrients were added, and no PH. I am going to add sea salt one time of feeding with nutrient, while she is in transit to flower to support macro & micro nutrients INSTANT FEEDING ORGANIC! Let's get it !! [ FEEDING 7TH WEEK on 9-10 week strain ] - 60ml / 1 Litter VEG Liquified dry nutrient (HOME MADE) - 1 feeding (pinch of Sea Salt/Gallon with Veg nutrient) 1 Corinthians 10:26 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- [WEEKLY NOTES] 9/18 I've been noticing some stress in the plants lately. They haven’t had any Sea Salt, and I'm seeing a few issues: 1. Small pot and root zone stress 2. Some nitrogen deficiencies 3. Magnesium deficiency I’ll be addressing these issues in the next 2-3 days using only organic methods. I’ll start recording from day one to document the process. Remedy 1. Sea Salt – 1/4 gram per liter during feeding 2. Home Cultivated Live Microbes - 5-10ml / 1 Litter 9/19 Last 4 pictures are taken 9/19 @ 12~12:20PM I could wait more, but just want to feed now while she is in transit. 10ml / 1 LItter was mixed and gave @ 12:23PM on 9/19 I am hoping to see stress releaf in 24 hours at least.. 9/19 2ND UPDATE @ 6:30PM 2 Pictures were taken. It wasn't the pot being too small, but found out pot caucer was too fit and it was holding full of water..; This plant seems to stopped light green leafing a bit and inter vein darkening has started this morning until giving Microbes. 6 Hours later seems to have stopped or came back to normal color a bit. 9/20 At 6 AM, things look pretty much the same as they did last night at 6 PM, which was about 6 hours after the microbe feeding. The darkening of the leaf veins seems to have stopped, and the lighter green leaves have stabilized as well. Since this plant is bigger than the one in SSKNF Grow #3, it might take a couple more days to fully recover compared to Grow #3. 9/21 Last day of the week, and just one more to go. I'm optimistic that the plant is bouncing back, though I realize I could have given her a bit more attention earlier on. Now that she’s recovering, I’m looking forward to seeing how she progresses from here!

As you can see, our macro lens arrived, we were able to take several photos and see the trichomes, we had never seen them so close before. We also noticed that many pistils have turned brown in the last days of this week but the trichomes are clear yet. The smell is getting stronger, reminds us of fresh fruits, mango and a little citrus. We are excited, she is healthy and smells good, but a little concerned with the development of buds and if they are within the standards for this week. Despite having many trichomes and the pistils turning brown, we are not noticing a significant fattening of the flowers (correct us if we are wrong). hahaha, noob stuff =)

Week 4 seemed a bit slow at first, but i also realised that I wasn't treating coco appropriately, I should feed nutrients every time I water and control the ph and ppm better. By the end of week 4 I got a water quality tester and am now able to properly take my ph down and monitor ppm so my plants don't get nutrient burned, but still gets enough nutrients in time. I also allowed good amount of the top layer of my coco to dry because I mixed up advice that received about soil and coco together. Apparently coco has no issues with overwatering unless your pots have no drainage so in the last 2 days I started treating coco the way it's supposed to be treated, I also finally got calmag and my plants are showing good signs of health past 3 days, they look revitalised and happy again 😊 Unfortunately, apple fritter was way too sick for me to continue with it so I restarted it in a proper coco and perlite mix that's non fertilised, that's a separate diary because its a whole month later. I decided not to train the first 2 plants just to see how the natural process is supposed to go.
