expanded the pot patch to include some companion planting and cover crop this year. Added 2 yards of grow max composted soil mix from the local garden centre. now 18" deep and I will be adding some leaf mould, myco and a super microbe tea to kickstart things. ************UPDATE************* due to the shit weather in Canada this year I have decided to NOT plant an outdoor crop this year, due to late season start and big el nino which means lower than norm temps and lots of rain for us which = issues growing.

Why High Humidity? • Encourages Strong Root Development: At nearly 100% RH, plants focus on root growth while pulling in moisture directly from the air, helping them establish themselves early on. • Protects from Stress: The high humidity reduces transpiration (water loss through leaves), which prevents drying and keeps seedlings hydrated. • Promotes Healthy Leaf Growth: With constant access to moisture, the leaves expand smoothly, giving each plant a strong start in the vegetative phase. Growth Status & Observations 🌱 These little mutants are showing some funky characteristics and growing at their own unique pace—a perfect reminder that no two plants are the same! Each seedling has sprouted its initial set of leaves, and I’m seeing great promise in their vigor and resilience. Key Observations: • Color: The seedlings are a healthy green, with some displaying slight variances in shade—typical of unique genetics like Mentha de Croco. • Structure: Leaves are developing steadily, with short internodes (the space between sets of leaves) that hint at nice, compact growth patterns as they continue. • Energy: Each plant seems to be finding its rhythm, which is a beautiful thing to watch! Some are taking their time, while others are diving right into rapid growth. Nutrients & Supplements 💧 For this first week, I’m keeping it light on nutrients, letting the seedlings draw what they need from the Root Riots and the remaining seed stores. However, I’ve continued using Aptus Holland’s Regulator and Startbooster, both at 1ml/L, to support foundational growth. Why These Nutrients? • Aptus Regulator: Adds silicon to fortify cell walls, giving the seedlings extra strength to handle environmental changes. All has been well so far in this 1st week. Noticed fungus gnats in my soil going into day 4 so I top dressed my soil (fox farm happy frog) with play sand and also I hung a sticky fly trap inside my grow tent. No signs of fungus gnats. Looking forward to lots of growth going into week 2

Day 40 : Watering today community after 3 days. They were too thirsty and drank 2.5L per plant. I added a lot of food to the water. But it finished with 800ppm only. I think Biobizz decreased the density of nutrients. I added 1 co2 tab / 5L as every time. Also made small defoliation to the bottom for all ladies. She have reached 63cm.

More mistakes made (I'm so worried I'm killing them), but trying to tone everything down to recover. I'm staying with 25% of nutes for now Smell has increased. My whole basement has a very green "Plant" smell. It's less earthy now and more green. First floor only smells on occasion... No carbon filter used yet... Day 50 July 16 raised lights (saw a lot of light burn) and reduced power to 75%. fed 800ml water each (saw a bit of nutrient burn, slowing it down a bit) Day 52 July 18 #2 1100ml to each 2.5ml calmag, 2.5ml micro, 1.25ml gro, 3.75ml per gallon. pH meter issues 1L fed to each Day 54 July 20 fed each 1l of water Day 55 July 21 nut made 2.5ml calmag, 2.5ml micro, 1.25ml gro, 3.75ml bloom 6.36ph ppm 490 fed 1L each

She's grown about 20cm this week,branches are starting to stretch out,same watering cycle,definitely females hairs from top four branch nodes showing more now..she is booming along,looking healthy and cant wait till she pops out some sticky buds to stare at

*=UPDATED=* Not to much to add this week, I plucked a lot of the lower leaves off to prevent them from getting to close to the growing medium and having some disease issues, plus increases some air flow. Also plucked a few of the top fan leaves that where blocking the lower buds from the light. Don't think this is proper defoliation so I did not check it off as a grow technique. The plants are really starting to smell more and get a lot of trichomes on them. When I'm in the case and smell each plant, they all have different terpene profiles. one is very lemon and pine with a hint of sweetness, one is quite sweet and berry like with lemon notes "my fav", another is just more so woodsy pine smell and the last one is mildly sweet smelling with something else I could not pinpoint. one setback is the case fan I was using died out, i think the heat inside the tent and operating for so long got to it, it was an older fan to start off with so not overly surprising. It started to have a hot electric smell to it, like wires or rubber getting to hot. I manage the case heat by propping its door open on a angle. still keeps temps at 25c (77f) Other then that I don't think they grew to big vs last week, one plant is starting to get some more purple in it, I like purple colour on buds. maybe the leaf plucking set it back a bit, can't imagine the plant would enjoy that happening to it. Trying to post little fly over videos every week of the case to give better idea of plants and what they are looking like. will try and get a macro lens closer to trichomes and see what they are doing in terms of clear cloudy and amber for next week, may give me a hint as if ill harvest week after that. *=UPDATE=* I didn't want to wait till next week to post trichomes so took some photos with a clip-on Macro lens for my phone, not the best but looks pretty cool. mostly all cloudy from what I can tell. one plant has a bit of amber on its sugar leaves but not its bud.

This week went well. I continued with the slightly feeding schedule (CalMag + Micro + Grow + Bloom). Today I have cleared the growth below the net a bit and took some clones from all plants to preserve the phenotypes. Let's go in to the final week of VEG!
