Funky Monkey is an indica-leaning hybrid with classic purple pedigree, believed to descend from Grape Ape and Mendocino Purps. In the garden it is a straightforward, resilient cultivar, showing tall, vigorous growth and tidy internode spacing, then finishing in roughly 56–63 days. Expect medium to heavy yields—around 400 g/m² indoors and up to about 480 g per plant outside—of dense, resin-frosted flowers that often pick up lavender hues as they ripen. Aromas lean fruity and fresh: sweet grape and forest berry over a soft layer of mint, earth, and spice. Caryophyllene, myrcene, and limonene typically steer its terpene profile. Potency tends to be moderate, with THC in the low-to-mid teens (commonly 7–18%) and trace CBD near 1%, delivering a cheerful, giggly onset that settles into calm, happy relaxation without heavy couch-lock. On the palate, it echoes the bouquet—grape candy and berries with a cool herbal finish.
