Kraken

Kraken (Jack Herer x The #1) from Buddha Seeds is an indica-dominant photoperiod cultivar bred in Spain for raw output and staying power. The phenotype grows with the sturdy, bushy posture of a small spruce, stacking dense, heavy colas on vigorous side branches. Indoors it typically reaches medium height, and under good lighting it finishes flowering in about 58-63 days, then repays the wait with boulder-like buds that can push around 500 g/m2; outdoors, well tended plants have been reported between roughly half a kilo and 1.5 kg per plant. The aroma opens earthy and sweet, quickly cooling into a fresh, almost mentholated profile with pine and a hint of spice, mirrored in a clean, dense smoke. Reported lab results place THC from the mid teens to about 20 percent, with CBD generally below 1 percent, translating to a long lasting, deeply relaxing experience that many describe as sedating yet contented. Kraken responds well to pruning and training, is considered easy to cultivate, and rewards consistent feeding with rock hard, resinous flowers.
