Ocean Truffle by Robin Hood Seeds braids the dessert-first richness of Wildberry Truffle with the tropical resin push of Ocean Fruit, creating an indica‑leaning hybrid that smells as loud as it looks. Expect tall plants with strong lateral branching, medium stretch into flower, and glistening, trichome-heavy colas built for bag appeal and solventless work. In the jar, the nose hits first with berry glaze and sweet citrus over a ribbon of gas; on the palate those notes widen into tropical fruit candy with a creamy, faintly floral finish. Dominant terpenes commonly expressed include myrcene, limonene, linalool, and beta‑caryophyllene. Indoors, Ocean Truffle wraps up in roughly 60–65 days; outdoors it finishes around late September to early October. Under dialed conditions the line is straightforward to grow and generous: reported yields reach about 650 g/m² inside and up to 1200 g per plant outside. Effects lean balanced-hybrid — relaxed and euphoric with a gentle lift that keeps the mood buoyant rather than hazy — perfect for flavor chasers who still want composure. While potency varies by phenotype and grow, THC potential is typically high with minimal CBD. Ocean Truffle carries the modern, fruit‑and‑gas signature Robin Hood Seeds is known for, packaged in a reliable feminized format.

The Ocean Truffle from Robin Hood Seeds impresses right from the start with truly vigorous growth. With a bit of training, which the Ocean Truffle almost seems grateful for, you can have a plant ready to deliver a good yield without much stress. The incredibly strong branches mainly need the SCROG net to keep them in place rather than to support them. The slow transition into flowering, by reducing the light cycle by 1 hour daily from 18/6 to 12/12, allows for great control over the stretch. As a result, the Ocean Truffle hasn't even doubled in height. The already very dark purple flowers are only surpassed by the mostly reddish, rather sandy trichomes that cling to them! All in all, a wonderful strain. TERPS The aroma is dominated by sour/gassy and berry terps. It's rounded off with citrus and pine terps. The berry terps remind you of forest fruits. It's a bit like the smell when you've brewed a forest fruit tea. TASTE In terms of taste, mainly pine/lemon comes through, accompanied by a gassy/creamy flavor in the background. HIGH The high is very pleasant and mostly hits the head, with just a bit on the body. For me, it's perfect for the day. It lifts your mood, you can still get your stuff done, and you're wonderfully high while doing it.

All in all, a wonderful strain. TERPS The aroma is dominated by sour/gassy and berry terps. It's rounded off by citrus and pine terps. The berry terps remind you of forest fruits. It’s somewhat like the smell when you brew a forest fruit tea. On top of that, you get gas/citrus/pine terps wafting up your nose. Maybe it’s also forest fruit with gasoline and citrus terps. A totally crazy mix. TASTE The taste mainly comes through as pine/lemon and is accompanied in the background by gassy/creamy flavor. HIGH The high is very pleasant and mostly hits the head, with just a bit on the body. It lifts your mood, you can still get your stuff done, and you feel wonderfully high.

The OceanTruffle handles training incredibly well, whether HST or LST. Topping at the right time really gets those little side shoots going and creates a nice bush. (You can see the female mother clone in a separate diary (OT-Clones & Truffle&Rosa)). The stacking of the OceanTruffle is an absolute dream. Even though it almost triples in size when switching from 18/6 to 12/12, there's hardly a part of the stem that isn't covered in flowers. With a bit of luck, a large portion of the mother genetics in this OceanTruffle pheno is the WildberryTruffle. If that's the case, a high yield is guaranteed, and I have no worries at all about loud and tasty terps from Square1Genetics.
