Poison Boysen is Teds Budz Co x Third Eye Society’s playful twist on a classic-meets-dessert cross, blending Durban Poison with Grape Pie into a hybrid that smells like ripe berries ground over fresh earth. Expect an opening burst of highland-sativa brightness from the Durban side—zesty pine and citrus—folding into the grape-syrup richness and warm bakery spice Grape Pie is loved for. In the jar and on the grind, aromas tilt toward grape, berry, and earthy notes; on the palate those translate cleanly with a peppery caryophyllene kick, hints of limonene-fueled citrus, and a floral ribbon of linalool. Batches have tested around 32% THC, so the ride can crest quickly, often landing in a cheerful, relaxed, and occasionally sleepy mood. Plants show hybrid vigor: medium height indoors with stronger stretch outside, stout colas dusted in sugar, and a flowering window of roughly 56–70 days. Yields lean medium under lights - about 300+ g/m² with dialed care - and can push higher outdoors. The cross’s tidy structure and resin density nod to Pie, while the narrow-leaf heritage keeps the morphology elegant. Credit Teds Budz and collaborators for capturing Durban’s clean focus and Grape Pie’s confectionary depth in a single, photogenic cut. Grape Pie traces to Cherry Pie x Grape Stomper, while Durban remains a South African staple.
