Trop Cherry OG R1, a stabilized reversed line of Tropicanna Cherry OG, still has Trop Cherry and SFV OG as direct ancestors but manages to bring even more of the goodies. It’s a potent and flavorful hybrid strain that makes for an excellent smoke no matter the time of day. Flavor-wise, Trop Cherry OG R1 manages to bring together notes of cherries, oranges, pine, and citrus, while infusing it with some grounding earthiness. Consumers are in for a long-lasting and balanced high, characterized by mental stimulation, happiness, and slowly deepening relaxation. Don’t expect extreme highs or lows from this strain, just a mellow and utterly pleasant experience to get you right through the day. Medically, Trop Cherry OG R1 is an ideal strain for anyone battling depression, chronic stress, and fatigue. Growers must know that these plants flower for about 9 to 10 weeks and produce above-average yields of very aromatic flowers, demanding odor control measures before the time to harvest comes. They pose some challenges regarding environmental conditions, but are generally forgiving and rather adaptable.

The plant honestly was finicky, I think it was my fault. It was stressed from defoliation and not getting enough light penetration a lot of days so it just became straggly. Once the environment was correct just before flower it started growing nicely with beautiful buds. But the cramped space definitely didn’t let this girl reach her full potential. Good genetics I’d say and I’ll try again and be more mindful. The buds look dense and frosty despite my shortcomings. There is some seeds but again that ones on me, I think the takeaway from this is the genetics resistance to mistakes and how it continued to grow so good buds, although few bud site because of the environment.
