Bio Blumenerde

Sonnenerde Bio Blumenerde is a premium organic soil made from natural compost, wood fiber, horn shavings and mineral components. No additional feeding is required throughout the growing season, and plants can grow healthily with consistent access to nutrients released by the soil’s microbiology.  This potting soil has excellent water retention, which reduces the frequency of watering. Because of this high water‑holding capacity, it’s important to check soil moisture before watering and ensure that containers have proper drainage to prevent waterlogging.  The horn shavings act as a slow‑release nitrogen source, and it’s normal to see a light fungal network form in the soil — a sign of active biological life.  This soil is suitable for use in pots, containers and planters, and its nutrient richness supports strong plant development without the need for extra fertilizer during the season.
