WEEK 10 - (05/02/2021 - 05/08/2021) Week 2, Day 9 - FLOWER: 05/03/2021 Today I made the difficult decision to kill the Glookies #2. It’s been sickly looking the entire length of the grow (red stems, yellowing/lime green leaves, stunted growth). It’s also becoming an incredible task trying to keep the humidity levels under 50% with 6 plants in a 4x4 tent, considering how big they are. So I had to cut the netting to move the plants around, and since I didn’t have enough twine to net up another layer of screen, I just left the plants as-is in their pots. Tap water: 230ppm, 8.9 pH, 71.5℉ + HydroGuard: 8ml/7.5 gallons + pH Down: 25ml Mixture: 245ppm, 6.3 pH ppm/ppm = runoff/soil JB#1 - 1050ppm/805ppm, 6.6 pH JB#2 - 890ppm/645ppm, 6.6 pH AP#1 - 1360ppm/1115ppm, 6.6 pH AP#2 - 1400ppm/1155ppm, 6.6 pH GC#1 - 1540ppm/1295ppm, 6.0 pH -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Week 2, Day 11 - FLOWER: 05/05/2021 I’ve decided it was in the best interest of the rest of the plants' health to cut down one of the 5 remaining plants in the tent today. Ended up selecting Jelly Bananen #2. Even with 1 less plant in the tent, humidity was still a little too high. It’s unfortunate that I am chopping another one down, but I keep reminding myself that this is my first grow on my own from start-to-finish. Just take everything I learn from this into the next grow. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Week 2, Day 13 - FLOWER: 05/07/2021 Supplemented this feeding using Great White mixed in with the liquid nutrients. Tap water: 220ppm + FF Big Bloom: 45ml/6gallons + FF Grow Big: 30ml/6 gallons + FF Tiger Bloom: 30ml/6 gallons + Cal-Mag: 15ml/6 gallons + Fish Shit: 12ml/6 gallons + HydroGuard: 6ml/6 gallons + Great White: 3tsp/6 gallons + pH Down: 23ml/6 gallons Mixture: 933ppm, 6.0 pH ppm/ppm = runoff/soil JB#1 - 1410ppm/477ppm, 6.3 pH AP#1 - 1440ppm/507ppm, 6.4 pH AP#2 - 1400ppm/467ppm, 6.5 pH GC#1 - 1350ppm/417ppm, 6.2 pH The 2nd week of flower comes to an end with the death of two sisters, leaving their other 4 sisters behind as they proceed into the afterlife. Am I disappointed? Absolutely, I didn't want to do it. Do I regret it? Not a chance. I did what needed to be done. I think the plants are a little stressed from yet another defoliation though. The growth has just been MAD since the flip. Next time, I won't be vegging the plants out for so long. Anyway, that does it for this week. Not too much going on aside from the continuing stretch. Buds are still in the very early stage of development. I'll catch you guys on the flippity flip. And remember... Don't drink and drive. Smoke and fly. πŸ™Œ

Grow Questions

Yellowing with grey/light brown spots occurring on the Glookies plants (starting from the tip of the leaf). I believe it may be due to the Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil mix but any advice or input on what is possibly happening is greatly appreciated. Fingers also fused together.

Leaves. Color - Yellow
Leaves. Color - Black or grey

Yea it's the soil my friend, Fox Farm Ocean Forest seems to be too "hot", this happens all the time, Fox Farm is great company though, I personally use their Happy Frog soil which is perfect.

I can't match them with any of the common pests for Cannabis plants. I thought maybe juvenile Aphids or mealybugs at first, but I'm just a noob. I've only found 3 of these near the uppermost growth, attached to the base of fan leaf/stem. Plucked them with tweezers and they crunch

These are Mealy bugs, aphids very rarely attack ligneous stem. Just in time to hand removal ang alcohol cleaning. Cheers
