The_holy_gardener Back to growing after a little break. And we'll take advantage of this awesome page to keep track, since I never did it before.
Week 1, block of coconut fiber substrate, unknown origin. Just like the bulk seeds we bought, so hoping they are what we ordered 😆.
The_holy_gardener Just in week 8, I’ve managed to stabilize the substrate. I didn’t have any meters, and when I bought them, I checked a piece of the coconut fiber and found that the EC was at 2000, which is why the sprouts weren’t growing. So I had to buy Final Solution from Bac nutrients to eliminate the excess salinity that the fiber had. I recommend this product, especially when using hard water.
Now I’ve just started with nutrition a week ago, a light fertilization of 0.5 g per liter of powder feeding grow, leaving the EC at 1000-1100, adding trichoderma (very important in coconut fiber) and Power Roots from Plagron once a week. I prefer Rhizotonic from Canna, but due to budget, we switched this time.
We will also be trying these LEDs for the first time (previously only the classic HPS). We hope to update this grow after being on standby for a while in the beautiful world of cultivation. May God bless you, your loved ones, and obviously your plants.
Photo 2 and 3
Photos taken two and a half days after photo 1, finally showing a stable substrate, noticeable absorption of the nutrients created by the Final Solution (see description). Showing almost optimal growth rate.
Today is watering day, as there was quite a bit of water absorption in 36 hours. For today, to continue cleaning the substrate, we will water only reinforcing with trichoderma and Power Roots.
It’s worth noting that I will only water with tap water EC (800us). And only two weeks before the cut, I will soften with reverse osmosis filtered water, until it reaches 400us. I don’t reinforce with calcium or magnesium, just what the drinking water provides, since the fertilizers are chelated, meaning they take the metal particles that the water brings, including Ca and Mg. If it weren’t like this, I would have already shown deficiencies in minerals and would have to add them.
I did an apical pruning on 7 girls, the tallest ones, to take advantage of the edge and gain 6 centers, and one extra to place next to the one that grows weaker.
I want to talk to you about Final Solution. It’s recommended at the beginning of the vegetative stage and several weeks into flowering. Due to budget and having used more to stabilize the substrate, I have enough for two more uses. I will use it starting flowering, and two weeks before cutting, taking advantage of those nutrients for the final waterings so the plant doesn’t lose properties.
Final Solution (this is what they sell, otherwise to the SERNAC 😁) ensures rapid fermentation of all waste substances around the roots/root systems. Stimulating specific groups of microorganisms, these will start producing enzymes. These enzymes will ensure that the waste substances present in tap water, such as Chlorine (Cl) and Sodium (Na), are eliminated.
This means that these (harmful) waste substances will no longer influence the EC value in your root systems. Your plants can now freely absorb all beneficial nutrients. This product is also highly advisable for reusing your substrate. Keep in a cool place and never use enzymes when using these organic products!
The addition of Final Solution in marijuana crops allows for the decomposition of dead root remnants, thanks to the stimulation of the microorganisms it contains. These microorganisms begin to produce enzymes capable of breaking down the lignin from the roots into nutrients.
Have a great week.

The_holy_gardener Finally seeing the process as it should be. Starting foliar feeding with canna boost (2 ml per liter), 3 times a day, preparing to switch to 12/12. This really speeds up flowering. May my God and Lord grant you a good week.

The_holy_gardener Hello everyone, this week thank God everything is progressing, today I pruned them again to focus their growth on the centers, there's still one more pruning to do, and later on, their defoliation, using the methods that those who have tried and shared the most favorable moment they observed in their trial and error. My sincere thanks to them, and may God bless you in your grows.
Also today I reinforced them with trichoderma in watering and foliar, I washed their trunks and leaves all over. I had been foliar feeding with canna boost (2ml per liter) and some days with alg a mic from biobiz.. I will let the trichoderma act for 24 hours and tomorrow I will foliar feed again with the boost. I have been alternating the base nutrient between the powder feeding grow and the canna coco.
On a separate note, the LED has surprised me a lot with its results. I have been using it at 70% of the 240w, on days when the humidity is at 60% and at 50% of its capacity if it drops. I’m eager to see it in flowering.
Now the genetics have expressed themselves. Of the ones I bought, Chocolope and Cheese, were the most resistant to the salt stress suffered as sprouts. Of both, 5 out of 7 survived. And Cream Caramel 2 out of 7.
And from the seed that we will now refer to as “God's will,” since it was what I had to fill the space, of those that did not survive the stress. They were in the refrigerator and I couldn’t remember who gave them to me, but if I kept them and didn’t give them away, it’s because they came from someone reliable. So their time had come. And you’ll believe me that they had a 100% success rate? I gave away several and they all looked great. That’s why you’ll understand why I decided to name them “God's will” (Philippians 2:13).
They all look very similar. Also, my thanks to whoever I don’t remember but I know the Lord does. So may my God bless your grows.
Chocolope shows two phenotypes, just like the Cheese, the two surviving Creams are very similar and the God’s Will, some more developed than others, but all very similar.
We will see the development over these days and I will move to flowering, I would dare to switch them since they have been very stable for two weeks, and that is very important if you want the flowers to develop well. This tip was given to me by a grower friend of those brainiacs who works for a top global company in agriculture, so I took it and it has worked very well for me.
That’s my update for this week, I will upload photos as changes are seen.
Have a good week, may my Lord Jesus Christ bless your grows and your lives.

The_holy_gardener Hello everyone. This week progressing well, already deciding to start flowering so we will be posting as soon as we do it.
Watering every 30 hours approximately manually, 400 ml more or less, always draining (always necessary in coco fiber fertilizing with minerals), giving a nutrient break once a week. Taking advantage of inoculating trichoderma on that day, with EC 400.
Foliar feeding with cannaboost (2ml per liter) 3 times a day, this will make for a very fast flowering when changing the light cycle (tested on similar clones).
We pruned some branches, and I did a light defoliation so that the branches we want to keep gain strength.
Due to doing several prunings, some shoots have turned a purple hue (this happens due to different variables).
I will be updating throughout the week.
God bless you all.

The_holy_gardener Hello dear ones.
Thank God everything is good this week, on Thursday 07 was their first day 12/12, today already showing its pre-flower, the foliar watering with cannaboost made this process quick (in my opinion). So today we start counting the weeks to see how many weeks of flowering they are.
Today I did a not-so-aggressive defoliation, this so that the light has better penetration while leaving only the tips that fill the small spaces between pots. If I had more seeds or clones for monoculture, I would use 1L pots and save vegetation time and do a SOG of 32 plants (32x15 😋), instead of the 18 this time (hoping for an 18x20).
The watering is alternating between the two bases I use, foliar 3 times a day with cannaboost, today inoculating trichoderma, and tomorrow the watering with the same EC that I have been using, since we defoliated, and that increase in EC that the cultivation charts always recommend won't be necessary, as the energy produced will be distributed among fewer leaves, and the rest will go to the development of the flowers.
I will only use the feeding grow two more times, once tomorrow and once for the next defoliation.
That has been this week of confinement, the advantage of dedicating time to this and obviously sharing with family.
Much love to all, may my Lord Jesus Christ bless your crops and your lives.
