I transplanted the plant in the cover pic three days ago, I topped her yesterday as she didn't even flinch at the transplant and she started to grow past the 4th node. First time topping so we will see how things go. The other plant looks robust. Taller, fatter stem. Interesting to see the pheno differences between these two seeds that came out of the same seed pack.
Been about a month since the last update, I've been battling a PH problem that is still not corrected outside of watering days. The plant gained about 7 inches of height in a month,(probably a little more since it is
being trained and pulled down a little) topped it about a month ago, transplanted into a 30 gallon smart pot about 2 weeks ago. Progress hasn't been a such as I would like, but headed into June at about 16 inches is gonna be just fine, hopefully I can get my PH and nutrients right and get this plant firing up.
I went away on a 5 day vacation, came back to a flourishing plant! Gained nearly 6 inches in height plus lower branches really kicked into gear. Plant is looking pretty great and sitting at 22 inches before June. The early start is starting to pay off!
The weather has been great, the plant is booming, growing 8 inches in the last week. Now up to 30 inches on one branch and 29.5 on the other. Over all she is looking good, still battling keeping the PH where I need it due to local water PH levels above 8.
Mid week I pruned her back a bit inside , May do more in the coming days, she picked up about 6 inches or more this week, sitting at a full 3 feet now.
This week was tougher to keep her hydrated as it was 90-100 degrees nearly every day. With that said, she still grew quiet a bit, now up to 42 inches on one main stalk, and just about 43 on the other.
The weather was a bit more mild this week, only 75-80 degrees, the plant responded well, gained 6 inches in height on the main 2 branches, the lower/smaller shoots are coming up hard amd evening out a bit.
Started watering her a bit more this week, upped my grow big nutes, and started adding in low levels of flowering nutrients as the beginning of flowering isn't that far in the future. She responded with 7 inches of growth on the top 2, and a lot of growth lower. Looking healthy overall.
She came back to life back up to growing about an inch a day after I switched to morning watering instead of evening waterings. All the way up to 5 1/2 feet tall, and 5 feet wide.
She is starting to show some pistils, stems are hardening and her upwards growth is slowing a little. She grew 5 inches this week to push her to 5'11". Let her dry out a bit yesterday which made her droop a little (in pics)
Finally into flower! This girl seemed to take her time in transition, bud sites are starting to set up, still fighting Thrips but trying to keep on top of them as best as I can.
