Day 71 Flower (Day 113)
Today was the first day of week 11 of flower and another uneventful day. I took a couple of pics and gave the right girl 2.5 liters of pH 6.3 water. That was it.
Day 72 Flower (Day 114)
Yet another exciting day - open the tent, look at the trichomes, snap a pic, close the tent, repeat.
The left girl is fading, but her trichomes are all cloudy. On the other hand, the right girl is hardly fading at all but shows some amber here and there.
Day 73 Flower (Day 115)
Today, all I did was to give each girl 2.5 liters of pH 6.3 water. Done
Day 74 Flower (Day 116)
Didn't do fuckall today. I'm so ready to harvest these girls. Already a solid month of overtime. I will cut in a few days I think. Amber trichomes be damned. 11 weeks of flower is enough!
Day 75 Flower (Day 117)
I gave the left girl 2.5 liters of pH 6.5 water today and checked the trichomes on both girls (again). That was it.
Day 76 Flower (Day 118)
Woohoo! I'm finally starting to see some amber trichomes here and there. The end is near!
Day 77 Flower (Day 119)
Today was the last day of week 11 of flower, and the grow is drawing to an end.
I had a closer look at the trichomes, and they are showing enough amber to satisfy me. I think I will chop tomorrow on day 120.
It's been a fun grow, and I have learned a bunch, but after over a month of overtime, I'm also ready to close down shop and have a bit of break.
Yesterday, one of the main branches broke on one of my girls. I taped her with electrical tape and added some support. So far so good as the canopy got back up without any drooping leaves. It's the first time I taped a branch and am wondering how long the tape should stay on?
Just leave in on a week and check it. Just dont let it go unsupported when you take the tape off. May tape a few weeks depending on how bad it was. Happy Growing!!!

Yeah, growing sure keeps you humble. Usually, when I think that I have a grip on things, I find new and exciting ways to fail spectacularly.
I feel like I should maybe make a list of things to check once per week and add checking light level/height to that list. I'm happy though that I bought a PAR meter so I can easily check light levels and adjust accordingly. No more guesstimating. Yay! (now I just need to remember to do it...)
@@Weedelfe, I would love to continue growing as I really enjoy the whole process. However, I really need to use up some of the cannabis before I plant next time since I don't want to keep large amounts at home.I still even have a bunch left from the previous grow so there's plenty for me to consume.
I would love to be able to give it away to friends but it is illegal to grow where I live so my friends have no clue. Gotta stick to the 3 golden rules of being an illegal grower: No Smell, No Sell, No Tell
It's not that bad though. I'm thinking about using this break to build a hydro system for my small tent and grow some lettuce and herbs. Maybe even give tomatoes a try. So yeah, while not growing cannabis I'm still hoping to improve as a gardener. I've been interested in learning more about hydro for a while and this seems to me like the perfect opportunity.
I'm also going to work on my Raspberry-Pi based, fully automated, watering system and I'm hoping to have that done before I start next grow.
@love_2_grow,Well... You can lower your stock by +/- 90 % making hash and/or please some friends and also stock properly for a long time and have several strains available to variate pleasures. Writing this because it feels like you'd like to grow again instead of having to take a break :)

Imo your temp is ok ( both for veg and flo)but.. I find your RH very low.. 37% is the level that you want to reach at the very end of flowering (and it would still be the low range). See how they behave with a 60/65 ( you might need a air humidifier) !
@love_2_grow, 58,5% is fine ! And yes 30°C a bit too high. CO2 will help. On my side ( very hot here in summer) I also use a product by Bio Technology: Elycitor. Very good for soil and roots at normal dosage ( 0,3mg/L),. At 1mg/L, it also allows to grow up to 35* C max preventing stomas closing ( but certainly not trichomes evaporation).

Thanks for the tips. My humidity has in fact gone up now when the plants are getting bigger (and the tomato plants in the tent helps as well). I haven't updated the diary though as I want to see the environment in the tent stabilize after changing the light program yesterday. I'll give it 3 days and then check what the average is. Right this moment the RH is 58.5% (got a wireless hygrometer which allows me to check remotely) but it is also in the middle of the night (for the plants) so the lights are out.
The same goes for updating the temps. Right now it is only 19.4 degrees in the tent but yeah, it is nighttime. During the day yesterday, I saw temps around 30 degrees but will also wait a couple of more days before I update the diary.
