Touch Down! The trim is finally done, and this grow is now at an end. Woohoo! I let the buds dry in my tent for 11 days at an average RH of 54% before I started trimming. Trimming wasn't too bad this time. Partially because some of the buds will be used for making edibles, so no need for a perfect trim on those, and partly because I bought a Trim-Bin a few weeks ago, and it made trimming a lot easier. It was such a difference to be able to sit comfortably and trim. I also took my time and spread out the trim over a couple of days. The final result was 143 grams from the left girl and another 231 grams from the right girl. In total, 374 grams of trimmed buds and another 64 grams of larf/trim, which I will use to make some tincture. Not bad, especially considering that I lost four of the largest colas and two partial colas to bud rot. In fact, the result was so good that I now have a problem - I have no idea what to do with it all. A luxury problem, to be sure, but a problem nonetheless. I only grow for personal use, and I'm not a heavy consumer, so it will take me a long time to go through this harvest. I planned to start the next grow in about a month, but now I will take an extended break instead. It kind of sucks, though, as I thoroughly enjoy the process of cultivation. The buds are now curing, and the final smoke test will have to wait a few weeks. I did sample it, though, and while it's too early to speak about how it tastes, I can say this: it kicks like a mule. A potent Indica kick to the head. BLAM! Just what I was hoping for out of this strain. Overall, a huge success. Not without faults, there were plenty of those, but I'm more than happy with the results. I learned A TON during this grow, and I can hardly wait until the next grow makes me fail in new and spectacular ways.
