Day 78 Flower (Day 120) Woohoo! Chop day!!! It was straightforward enough to harvest the girls, I cut off and hung each branch separately, and they all are now drying in my main tent. Unfortunately, I found some more bud rot on the right girl, on a single bud way in the back of the tent. It wasn't too bad, so I didn't have to remove that much, but I will keep a close eye on the humidity during the drying period. Maybe I keep the RH lower than 55-60% that I usually use for drying. I might lose some terps and some flavor, but rather that than lose more buds to rot. Besides the buds, I also got one little bucket full of larf and smaller fan/sugar leaves which I will use for edibles/tinctures. The larger fan leaves and stalks went into another bucket, and all that will be composted back into the soil. Now it is just a waiting game until the buds have dried enough to be jarred. It's been a fun journey, but I'm also happy that the end of the grow has come. I still have a few things to do as I'm upgrading to larger pots for the next run, so I will mix up some more soil this week and let it "cook" until I start my next grow in October.
