She broke the soil yesterday. I’m stoked for this grow. Not much more to say now.

Put her in her final 10 gallon pot, under her normal lights. Very excited for this strain but it’s pretty early

Topped my beauty on Sunday, looking good, can’t wait to get the screen on her in a couple weeks. I switched lights at the end of my last grow and got California LightWorks solarsystem LED after years of growing under HID. I have to say I’m really enjoying being able to customize the spectrum all while saving energy both on lighting and cooling.

Topped again during the week, I think I’ll get her screen on by next week sometime. Can’t wait for this landrace strain.

Got the screen on her late last week, now it’s a waiting game. She’s growing really fast for only being 5 weeks old. Let’s grow baby!

So this Mybfirst attempt at straining via ScrOG. I think is going pretty good. Experienced ScrOG gets I’m happy to hear some constructive criticism. I did some light defoliation this past week, a few here and a few there for a couple days strain just to uncover some new bud sights. Someone mentioned I’d never fill that 3x4 screen with just that one plant in a 10 gallon, but I have faith.

Lots of new growth this week, looks like the screen is about 50% full, I’m thinking in the next week or two I’ll get to 12/12. In the mean time I’m adding an extra hour of darkness every few days to make her transition to flower smooth and stress less for her.

How do I get more traction and attention to this grow, I’ve been doing a good job updating regularly but being a landrace strain that’s not currently super popular I seem to have difficulty attracting viewers

You don't need to be one of those that worry about likes and views. Just show people your plant, ask and answer questions. View others diaries, be positive, enter contests and help out when you can 🌱👍it's a great community

Growth has been great, just plain water for this girl growing in organic super soil. I’ve started a slow transition to flower, extending her night by 15 minutes every day until I get to 11/13. I’ve also started Foliage spray of a very week seaweed and water solution (¼ recommended dose every other day.

Has anyone used a gradual flip to flower? I’m trying it out here by extending her night by 15 minutes every day until I get from 18/6 to 11/13. Idk if there are any benefits or not but I have the time while I’m filling my big (4’x3’) screen with only one plant. Love to hear back.

Erm dont think any benefits unless your trying to drag the switch out and turn them back to veg like sexing them. They need the shock to trigger the flowering some people will leave lights off for 24 hours and then put the lights on 12/12 plus adding pk as well. Gradually though I can only see it taking them longer to flower. best to get them in a routine soon as you can In my experience.

Not too much to say this week, I’m currently flipping her to flower gradually. She’s getting an extra 20 min of “night” every 24 hours. We’re currently at 13/11 but have about 6 days to get to 11/13 where the breeder says to flower at.

So I finished my slow transition to flower yesterday, I increased “night” by 20 min everyday over 21 days to get from 18/6 to 11/13. She’s def stretching but less then would be expected with this strain if it was an abrupt switch. Enjoy and give me a like!!

Stretch in full swing but much more manageable then I thought, at least so far, I think only one more week of “tucking” she’s already started putting out pre flowers.

Sorry I missed last week, but I’m back. The stretch is over now and she’s started her extremely long flowering phase fully by now. I learned a great lesson this week; if you’re gonna ScrOG close to the base of the plant, raise the pot a couple feet off the ground so you don’t find yourself lying on your back working inches from your face to defoliate under the screen.

She gave me her first weak scent of what she’ll smell like when I opened the tent this morning, it was delightful if very brief. Still a (very) long way to go with this girl as we just finished week 5 of a 12-14 week flowerer. I got an automated watering system on her now, the grow is now fully automated and I COULD go probably 5-6 days before the water needs to be refilled, I won’t, but I could.

So upon close inspection this morning I’m seeing the very beginning of tricrome production, her true scent shouldn’t be much far behind. That being said this 12-14 week flowerer is moving along very slow, but that was expected via the breeder. We had a heat wave this week and it was about 100° in my tent during the day, this African sativa just laughed at it though.

Kinda a dull period in my grow right now, not much happening except she’s starting to grow crystals, so that’s exciting. Some of the colas have also split into multiple buds are the top which is cool too. Thanks for stopping by, come again.

After a few weeks of rest my lady is working hard again, putting on weight, some colas are starting to bend over with added weight. She’s also starting to foxtail, which is standard for this strain and everything has started swelling again. Still more then a month till harvest with this almost pure sativa. I thought I had plenty of patience but this is testing 😂.
