Woohoo😁
Time for a new season of growing!!!
Really excited this time around... 👉😁👈
I bought these beauties last summer and being waiting impatiently to start😜! I'm gonna do the good ol' manifold/mainline technique since that's what has been working for me... and also they are sativia's!!!
March 14th... Dropped them in water for 18 hrs...
March 15th... Placed them in a coffee filter... I find using paper towel that the roots will try to weave in and out of it...
March 17th... Nice and long roots ready...
March 18th... Peeking out...
March 21st... BAM!!!
SB#1 is stretching a little too much so I lowered the 75w led light...
SB#2 is just a touch on the short side...
I decided to get rid of the tent and go with a more permanent spot. Using Diamond cut mylar for reflecting material.
Flower room is 4' x 5' x 7'
Germ/Veg room is 2.5' x 5' x 7'
I will be using the flower room also as veg room unless there is flowering going on 😝!
So there ya have it... first week under the belt and the girls are doing fantastic! 💪
Happy Growing!👉😁👈
First week of Veg! 😀
Sex Bud is doing great! After the first week, there is certainly a difference in the pheno's... #1 is a tall glass of water (2 1/4"), while #2 is a big gift in a small package (1 3/4")!
I have been moving the girls back and forth between the Clone/Veg room and the Veg/Flower room to get them used to the more intense light.😎
Clone/Veg Room:
(1) 75w LED for seed/clone starting
(1) 1800w (400w) Hollandstar 6x Cob for Vegging
Veg/Flower Room (1) Bloom Plus BP4000 (800w) LED for Vegging unless flowering is going on
I have been giving them small amounts of water every couple of days unless really dry. Water is pH 7 (Neutral) and since the soil is 'Living' organic, it corrects the water to the proper pH for the roots to get the right nutrients at the right time.
Humidity is lower then I like, but that's ok... I'll just squirt squirt them with the squirty gun!!! 😂
Still trying to regulate the temps in the veg/flower room... with lights on around 24C... with lights off it's around 17.2 and 18.8.
Waiting on the adjustable venting cover for the intake... that will help out with the lower temps.
I also like to have an oscillating fan blowing half gently on the girls... tough them up!
Pretty much covers it... I think!!! 😳
Happy Growing! 👉😁👈
Week of Growth!!! 😎
The Sexbuds really sprouted this week! They seem to like the stronger light... so much so, I had to give them an home early then expected. The roots in the pics really show how well they are doing.
SB#1 has very nice and white roots that just started the circling of the cup.😁
SB#2 also has very white roots... just not as much yet.😀
After the transplants, I gave them about 250ml of water so their small root balls will mix in nicely with the new soil. The 3 gallon fabric pots have about 1/3 Krptonite soil and 2/3 Promix (organic vegetable and herb mix). I find this works quite well since I just add water. Water is still pH 7... letting the soil balance the pH.
In the last pictures, I did give them one litre of water from the bottom to really draw down the roots. Throughout the grow, I will mix up the watering... one time from the top and one time from the bottom.👍
SB#1: 3.5 inch, 3 nodes showing, working on the forth. Growing strong.
SB#2: 3 inch, 3 nodes barely showing, working on the forth. Growing well but has a little bit of leaf curl and a little lighter green on top... maybe transplant shock...
If both girls keep growing strong, next week could be their first topping! I plan on the eight arm mainline... that seems to work best for my setup.😁
Happy Growing! 👉😵👈
Week of Training! 😎
Well, well, well... the sex is in the bud...😍
What a great week of growing, topping and training! The two girls are just loving the soil and the light. They had a great recovery with a little bit of shock on the shorter girl... but she's thriving now!👌
The girls tops came off mid-week, and there is usually a strip and then the bondage...😳 but I wanted to grab some sex clones so I waited until the end of the week for the full strip... but there was bondage! 😎
I have the room atmosphere dialed in at around 24C... with a humidity hovering around the 68%-70%... Also have the lights running 24/7... gonna do that for a few weeks... Besides the girls in there, the other plant life like the wetness and the brightness!😁
Watering is around 1L every 2 days... they drink a lot even though the high humidity. Water is still going in at pH 7 and letting the soil regulate it.
If the girls continue on this path, I believe next week there will be another topless party... might even invite spicy bitch! 😂😵
Happy token! 👉😵👈
GO!!! 😂
What such fantastic girls these Sexbuds are! They seem to be very healthy and are really enjoying all the abuse in the last couple of weeks.👌 I think they're just trying to keep up to the Bitch! 😜
After the topping last week, both girls recovered quickly and I was back to taking their tops off again! 😍 It seems the more I train them, the quicker they wanna grow... yay for me!!!
Soon when both girls have eight tops and are fully recovered, they will be going to a new room to start their journey into greatness...😂 as long as I don't kill them along the way...😳
Both girls are still drinking great... 1L every 2 days, but that will increase very soon. I like to water two different ways... bottom watering... draws roots to the bottom... top watering... helps bring all the nutrients down to the bottom.
Guess that's all 😀
Until next week...
Growing Happy! 👉😁👈
Grow Environment:
-Area: 3x5 room
-Light :1800w Cob light = (400w HID)

-Humidity: 68%
-3 gallon Smart pot
-Kryptonite soil = (Living soil)
-1L / 2days pH7 (soil regulates)
-Companion plants (Dill & Basil)
Fantastic week!
The week started and right off the go, sex bud decided to loose their tops!😂 They are growing faster then I was expecting.
From my previous grows, anytime I mainlined (which is every time😳), it was usually week 8/9 of veg before I switch to flower... These sativa girls are just flying along and I think I'll switch them to 12/12 this coming week... if they keep growing like they are.🙏 Their cousin, Spicy Bitch, is alot bigger on her veg stretch but both strains are growing arms just as fast as I topped them.
Let's start...
Topped first of the week... topped a little high up and hope they don't split from the weight. 😁
Transplanted on day 35 from 3 gallon to 10 gallon pots... Cloth pots.
Used the extra room for more training... wanting fat arms...👍
Relocated to flower room, but going to hang out for a couple of days before 12/12
Both girls drank about 2L midweek and 1L on transplant.
Sequence of topping...
First topping at 3rd node (result = 2 arms)
Second topping was at the 1st node of the two new arms (result = 4 arms)
Third and final topping was at first node of the four new arms ( result = 8 arms) 😃
Last word...
Using organic 'living' soil, I only like using water. I'm pretty sure liquid organics could be used, but from my experiences, just potting up to a bigger pot on week of switch, is all was needed to get me through to harvest... can't get any easier then that.... just add water!😁
Grow Environment:
-Area: 4x5 room
-Light : Bloom Plus BP4000
-Temp: 24C on average
-Humidity: 42%
-10 gallon Smart pot
-Kryptonite soil = (Living soil)
-pH7 (soil regulates)
-Companion plants (Aloe Vera & Spearmint)
Happy Growing! 👉😁👈
Week of recovery! 😎
All right, I thought this week the sex buds would see darkness... but instead gave it to them to recover more and wait for their roommate to be ready as well.
The girls stock is quite thick, but they did not stretch near as much as Spicy Bitch did... but what I can say is... the nodes are going to be tight together and that result should mean bigger, thicker buds!😲 Just in case, I installed crooked tomato rings. 😜
Did a clean up on both of the girls by removing the first node on each of their arms. For SB#1, I removed both the node and leaf... For SB#2, I just removed the node and left the big fan leaves. I used this technique on my last grow, also trying it on Spicy Bitch... hopefully we'll see the difference in the end as long as I can treat them the same. 👊
Girls drank like their life depended on it...😂 4.5L of water right after transplant, then 2L more before the weekend... not singer...😳👈
Yep... think it's time for me to go... 😂
Grow Environment:
-Area: 4x5 room
-Light : Bloom Plus BP4000
-Temp: 25.2C on average
-Humidity: 58%
-10 gallon Smart pot
-Kryptonite soil = (Living soil)
-pH7 (soil regulates)
-Companion plants (Aloe Vera, lettuce & Bell Peppers)
Happy Growing!👉😁👈
First week of Flower!!! 😎
Let's start...
Instead of just flipping right to 12/12, I like to put them in complete darkness anywhere from 24-36 hr mark... this grow I went with 24hr/darkness. 😀 I found it really helps to jump start the process...
Mid-week both girls drank 3L each and also 3L at the end. I will up their drink to 4L and see how they like it!😈
I try not to do any defoliation during pre-flower...👌 but when some of the satellite arms are just taking off, and I know I will remove them later... I just don't want them to be stealing energy from the top bud... I think I'm going to get rid of them at the start of the new week. 👍
As the pic states... they are girls😍😍
Overall...
Week was great... responded good to the switch... we know they are girls... they are definitely not stretching like their cousin, Spicy Bitch... but I think eventually the girls will catch up.👊
Grow Environment:
-Area: 4x5 room
-Light : Bloom Plus BP4000
-Temp: 26.2C on average
-Humidity: 54%
-10 gallon Smart pot
-Kryptonite soil = (Living soil)
-pH7 (soil regulates)
-Companion plants (Aloe Vera, lettuce & Bell Peppers)
Happy Growing!👉😁👈
WEEK NUMBER TWO!!!
That was loud...😳
Sex is in the air... the girls showed their hats and looking for pollen... but ya ain't find any here... pollen that is...😲
The week starts with a little trim, not too much though, that is for the 3rd week defoliation stage. Both girls are very similar too each other... not much difference in the height, bud structure, or drinking habits. That does make for an easier grow with less surprises.😀
The girls didn't stretch very much... just a couple of inches... but their stalks are quite thick. They are drinking about 6L each this week... as you can see from the pics, I water the girls from the top and bottom... 2L from the top and 1L from the bottom.👌
Increased the outtake fan to max speed... added a 2nd fan... found it was a little too warm and the humidity a little too high... I'm a little too high...😳😂
Guess I'll ended on that note....
Grow Environment:
-Area: 4x5 room
-Light : Bloom Plus BP4000
-Temp: 25C on average
-Humidity: 58%
-10 gallon Smart pot
-Kryptonite soil = (Living soil)
-pH7 (soil regulates)
-Companion plants... none, just peppers
Happy Growing!👉😁👈
Let's talk about sex buddy... 😂
The sexbuds shot up... in the past week, they grew a good 10 inches... still not as tall as their cousin Spicy Bitch, but BAM!!! 💪😝 Even their stacking stayed with the grow! They are now 2ft bushes.
Let's change that...
3rd week defoliation... why is it done?
From my limited experience and internet knowledge😳, this is done to help with getting light to the lower bud sites, to have great air circulation and to cut down on the chances of white powdery mildew (wpm)... also, it helps to direct more energy into the main colas.
The reason it's the 3rd week...
Week 1&2... preflower
Week 3... defoliation
Week 4&5... recovery + new growth
Week 6... no new fan leaves will grow
Now, that is based on a 8 or 9 week strain... sometimes 10 but usually 10+ weeks... just add an extra week on to the process.👍
The girls are drinking a lot... like their bitch cousin... 9L each this week... bring on the hangover...😂😅 I'm still doing the 2/1 watering... 2 from the top, 1 from the bottom.
I'm very impressed on the growth of the sex buds. The hats are forming well, the stacks are stacking really nice, and their leaves are at 9 fingers... Happy Happy Buds!!!😁
Humidity is still higher then I want at this stage (58%), might have to get a small dehumidifier to solve that...
Let's see where the next week takes us!
Grow Environment:
-Area: 4x5 room
-Light : Bloom Plus BP4000
-Temp: 25C on average
-Humidity: 58%
-10 gallon Smart pot
-Kryptonite soil = (Living soil)
-pH7 (soil regulates)
-Companion plants... spearmint, dill, sweet basil
Happy Growing!👉😁👈
Hellooooo 4th week!
Last week, the sex buds got stripped...😲 removed a lot more then I should have... at least that's what I thought! A couple of days after and the girls are filling up the room again. By the look of their close stacking (they are sativas), I think they may be leafy colas... not just sugar leaves... gonna try and stay on top of removing the leaves with long stems...
The trichomes the girls are producing are absolutely wild!😍 Four weeks in, and they have so much trichomes on the lower stacks... it's just nuts. Their cousin Spicy Bitch, she has some trichomes, but nothing like these girls.
Both girls only had 6L of water this week. The 2nd watering, blackstrap molasses was added. Mix 2 Tbsp (30ml) / 1 gallon (3.8L) of water. The reason for using blackstrap and not regular table molasses... Blackstrap has a higher nutrient count, I believe.
It also helps the plant grow bigger by enriching the soil and improving the environment. The soil breaks the sugar down to carbs which feed microbes in the soil. The microbes then produce CO2, that is used by your plants to grow larger. Let's go!😎
The girls didn't grow as tall as I thought they would for being sativas, but their stalks are solid, most of the arms are a good size, but the stacking is going to be where it's at... 👍 Mix that with tons of trichomes... Really can't wait until harvest!😁
Week recap... Used blackstrap... trichomes out the ying yang... and dreaming about harvest! Great Week!!!👉😜👈
Grow Environment:
-Area: 4x5 room
-Light : Bloom Plus BP4000
-Temp: 26C on average
-Humidity: 58%
-10 gallon Smart pot
-Kryptonite soil = (Living soil)
-pH7 (soil regulates)
-Companion plants.... spearmint
-Blackstrap molasses... 2 Tbsp (30ml) / Gallon (3.8L) of water
Happy Growing!👉😁👈
✋😀
Half-way to Harvest Week!
The girls continue to cover themselves in trichomes and extra leaf... and I mean extra. I continue to remove big fan leaves that are covering bud sites but they continue to come back... kinda like when there is a deer fly buzzing around your head, you kill it, and BAM!... it's back! 😲
Encountering some leaf damage due to wind... aka fan on too high... and those damn aphids. I thought I had got rid of them (they never go away), but they are back... 😡
Because this is the 5th week of flower, I can only contain them without hurting the buds. I mix 1 Tbsp (15ml) of 3% peroxide with 1 cup (250 ml) water, and using a fine mister, I give a good misting to the under part of the leaf while trying to protect the buds the best I can...💪 I had to do this once before and it got me to harvest with no damage... but I did wash the buds before drying to clean off aphid shit and stuff...
There is not much difference in the phenos... both seem to stay shorter then expected, both are very bushy with lots of trichomes, and both are starting to have a grapefruit/pineapple smell... Reminds me of their parent strain Cinderella 99!😍
The temps have been going up this week, but so far it doesn't seem to bother the girls... but might have to dim the lights if it gets to carried away... like in the 30 C range... have to watch the humidity as well, that's starting to sit in the mid 60's%
Only watered twice this week, the first was 3L of water and the second watering was 4L. The sexbuds are wanting more per watering now, which is a great sign! 👌 Next week, I'll do another blackstrap molasses mixture.
This will probably be the last week I can get in the room to move them around to take pics... they're are just getting to big, bushy and heavy for that silliness... 😂 This is where the scope pics come into play.
Overall... great week, great smell, great aphids... 😳
Grow Environment:
-Area: 4x5 room
-Light : Bloom Plus BP4000
-Temp: 28C on average
-Humidity: 64%
-10 gallon Smart pot

-Companion plants.... spearmint
-Mixture for aphid control... 1 Tbsp 3% peroxide/1 cup water

6th Week of Waiting! 😵
How to start the week...
Heat: There was a lot of heat at the start of the week. In the grow room, temps hit 32 C 😲 I'm some happy that I have some hardy strains... Sex Bud doesn't seem to have any issues what-so-ever... I believe the extra heat is making the girls produce more trichomes while they sleep so they can be ready for the next day (that's their sunscreen)😎
Water: Girls had 4L of water on day 3 and another 4L mix with Blackstrap Molasses on day 6. For the rest of the watering, I'm gonna keep the "every other" watering mixed with Blackstrap. On the first watering, it's from the bottom and completely top down on the 2nd.... helps feed the soil so the soil can feed the girls!😁
Aphuks: So far so good... i believe they are under control... at least I can't find any around.👺 I did remove any really damage leaves and gave the remaining a good misting while protecting the buds and sugar... (1 Tbsp of 3% Peroxide mixed with 1 cup of water)
Personality: BAM! SB#1... is shorter and not as dense with more longer of a tip.
SB#2... Taller, fatter, much more bulbous... if that makes sense...😂 and running away with the sugar as well!💪
Both... Smells so much like grapefruit... stanky grapefruit!!!
Defoliation: This was the week to do the last defoliation, but I think they might go 9 maybe 10 so I'm going to hold off until middle of next week... then it's stripping time!😜
Conclusion: Good week... Beat the heat wave, beat the aphuks (for now), and just cruising into a new week...👊
Grow Environment:
-Area: 4x5 room
-Light : Bloom Plus BP4000
-Temp: 26C (Heatwave 2days@32C)
-Humidity: 60%
-3 fans (all oscillating)
-10 gallon Smart pot
-Kryptonite soil = (Living soil)
-pH7 (soil regulates)
-Companion plants.... spearmint
-Blackstrap Molasses... 2Tbsp/1 Gallon Water
Happy Growing!👉😁👈
On the 7th week... my true love gave to me... crabs... what??? 😂
Alright now... everyone settle down!
Heat: Holy swamp ass... it's still a little warm here. The temps in the grow room on average are 30 C... not sure how I lucked out on all these different genetics withstanding the heat like a BOSS!!! 💪😉
Water: Need more, Want more, Gave more... 5L on day 2 and 5L with Blackstrap on day 6...
Aphuks: Assholes! Like I said before, just some what controlled to get through the harvest... then I'll wash them before hanging them to dry... don't want any bug carcasses or their shit in my vape...😝
Defoliaton: Removed a bunch of leaves off both the girls, and they are still bushy... wonder if they're from the 70's... 👍
Trichomes: Wow! Thought I had another week or two.... maybe not... showing a decent amount of amber. I'll be checking daily! 😍
Bonus Round: Weed & the Bean Stalk... Over the last couple of years of growing and reading about different plants, I thought since beans pull CO2 from the air and release Nitrogen into the soil through their roots... at least that is what I stoned read... 😂
So, I gave it a try with a sex bud clone (she can be cloned), and to my amazement so far... I have a Clone that is mainlined with a bean stalk growing with it... and doesn't seemed to be any weird shit going on either... 😳
To sum the week up... Sexbud is only a couple of days away from harvest, got some sort of beanstalk growing with an eight arm clone... and it's hotter then hell! 😈
Grow Environment:
-Area: 4x5 room
-Light : Bloom Plus BP4000
-Temp: 30C
-Humidity: 60%
-3 fans (all oscillating)
-10 gallon Smart pot
-Kryptonite soil = (Living soil)
-pH7 (soil regulates)
-Companion plants.... spearmint
-Blackstrap Molasses... 2Tbsp/1 Gallon Water
Happy Growing!👉😁👈
Week Freakin' #8 😎
100%... Thought 100% I would be cropping this week... trichomes were talking, breeder timeframe is close, Spicy Bitch "hermed" out on me... so yeah, definitely thought this was going to be harvest week! Nope... the girls aren't done yet! 😲
Heat: I love heat... but this is crazy heat for June... Set-up and timed the grow to be done before the real heat hits in July... mother nature is laughing at me now...
There was one night (daytime for the girls) that with the grow door open and the light dimmed as low as it could go... temp was 34 C.... WTF!!!👿 I think that might have been the night Spicy B. finally gave up and hermed... Sex Bud is still taking it like a champ!😍 No sign of 'nanners' yet!
Water: The girls want to drink more but I have to watch it closely as when I harvest them, I would love a good 3-4 day dry period before the chop... I find it helps them to finish up faster. I only gave them 2L on day three and 2L on day seven... straight water, no blackstrap molasses.👌
Aphuks: Of course these little bastards are still kicking around, which I knew they would, but still somewhat under control... at least it doesn't seem they are doing any damage yet... Still going to try and wash them before hanging to dry... unfortunately, Spicy B. didn't get the 3 bucket cleaning before hand, but these girls will!😀
Defoliation: Stripped them again... not like they don't enjoy it with a name like Sex Bud...😳 Tried to remove large leaves and any that had a long stem. I believe those large/stemmed ones are only stealing energy at this point... Save the energy for the BUDS!!!👈
Trichomes: Last week, the trichs had me fooled into thinking that they were done... the pics tell the story here... still a lot of clear in every pic so I'll check them everyday, maybe 4 to 5 times a day.... Damn Excitement Overtaking! 😂
Let's see what the next week brings... hoping on a harvest... settle on a harvest!😁
Grow Environment:
-Area: 4x5 room
-Light : Bloom Plus BP4000
-Temp: 30C
-Humidity: 62%
-2 fans (all oscillating)
-10 gallon Smart pot
-Kryptonite soil = (Living soil)
-pH7 (soil regulates)
Happy Growing!👉😁👈
Very Happy with this beautiful strain!
Growing her was very easy.... she responded excellent to the mainline technique... really low recovery time.
Had a couple of issues that she over came quite easily... Heat Wave and Aphids! Very surprised she didn't get 'Nanners' as the heat was extreme at times! For a aphids, any of sprays I did, that didn't slower her down and the aphids didn't really affect her a whole lot. Very Strong!
She's on the grow again list!!!😍

BAM!!! 👈😜👉
Just like that... Harvest Time!!!
First off... What a fantastic journey!😀 Everything from having a new grow room, extreme heat, and the aphuks... wasn't sure how the girls were going to turn out...
I'm extremely happy with these genetics!😁 Great work @female_seeds! 👍
Alright, let's go!
Sex Bud #2 was the first to be ready! She started showing really nice amber sooner then her sister... but SB#1 only finished up a day later. Both girls have really tight buds...😝, but SB#2 is the bigger girl...
Now, the only thing I did different between the two is back in week 6, when I defoliated, I removed both leaf and node from SB#1 and only the node for SB#2... everything else I tried to keep the same.👌 Not sure if that made a difference or if the pheno types really kicked in, but I'll probably do that type of training from here on out!😁👌
Wet Weight: SB#1 = 405.7 grams
Dry Weight: SB#1 = 88.5 grams
Wet Weight: SB#2 = 573.8 grams
Dry Weight: SB#2 = 117.2 grams
I'm going to try and do a long dry... Humidity 58%-63% Temps: 20C - 22C I can't see the temps changing, but I will be lowering the humidity hopefully into the 40% area around day 4 of the dry!😲
Update: The girls dried around the 5 day mark... Even though it was only 5 days, the humidity was around the 60% area and they had a nice snap when breaking the stem. A good cure and we'll be ready to go!!! 😁
There was no flush needed since the girls were growing in organic (living soil). It really makes the grow easy when all you do is just add water.👌
SB#2 definitely has more sugary trichomes then SB#1... both still sticky AF!!! 😍 Tried some bottom larf in the vape and what a wonderful taste... nothing but citrus until about the 4 puff, then for the remaining 3-4 puffs she has a real strong earthy taste... so excited for the dry/cure! 😀
The girls have this wonderful smell of grapefruit 😍 but this real strong pungent smell... almost like body order... 😵😂 I have to say that I'm extremely happy that I have a charcoal filter attached to the fan... hoping that the grapefruit/citrus smell takes over as they dry and cure... 🙏 It definitely is a head high... woohoooooo... good energy... let's see if she lives up to her name!😂😍
That's it for now... will update in a week!
July 11th Update: I'm very pleased with the girls! They produced a nice 7oz with only a little bit of larf... They're top buds are hard with a decent size, and the lowest buds are a touch airy... I'm happy with that since the 34C heat should have made it all airy...😜
The taste is right up my alley! 😍 The more she cures, the stronger the grapefruit taste comes out... and not so pungent now either...👌 Sex Bud reminds me of her parent strain Cinderella 99!
She's on the grow again list!!!😍
