seed is from local dispensary
20 hours in distilled water
24-48 hours in the damp paper towel till sprouting
transferred to fox farms happy frog in 3-gallon cloth
Still not in 4x4
No nutes added
on the second transplant day added about a cup of 24-hour wait filtered water
3/27 Update Sprouted out and getting LED light on 18/6 schedule in the mars 4X4, water is about 6 to 7 PH, temp is around 23C and humidity around 30-40%. Seem pretty happy. I have 2 tomato 🍅 plants in there also. TSW2000 is at around 24 inches and about 25-30%
Got some Sensi Soil for one that I'll transplant, not sure if I'm going to translant the 3 gallon ones.
No added nutes yet. Just starting to get into early veg. I feel they are a little too thin and one tipped over so I lowered my light by about 6 inches. I did a heavy watering yesterday as they were all really dry. Water PH is probably 6-7 now but I'll be doing more testing while I try to be patient.
Start of week 2. humidty around 40-50%. Temp is in 21-25C. Adding the MaxiGro/Calmag plus at 1/2 dilution in normal water but will be going undiluted soon. Not sure why the one leaf combined with the other. Starting Northern-lights Auto from today to add into the theses. I have the tent open today
The bigger one has 4 nodes. I think. But I am happy with the first grow progress. I adjusted the tsw 2000 to 75% at around 22-24 inches. I spray with water 2x-3x a day. I want to transplant those small ones to bigger pots than the 3 gallon but I’ll see how they do in the current for now. I also checked the big one for any male or female characteristics but didn’t see anything
All lst’d. Some decent growth. Just topped the 3 gallon. It’s limping along. Others seem to be doing well. A bit challenging to keep temp and humidity in check
Seem to be real thirsty at the moment or my moisture monitor is broke. Other than the drooping of the one plant they seem to be fine. Light is about 16 inches away at 100%.
Did more LST to keep some of the NL at canopy level. Using Mammoth P this last feeding with GH maxibloom. I will probably do more defoliation this week.
Getting more aromatic. Still around 15 inches in height but my light is around 13-16 inches from the plants. Color seems good. No real issues. Fingers crossed
Started to stretch more. Buds are not fattening up too much. I seemed to have timed the NL and sour J&G flowering pretty close. For my first grow it seems to be going well. Plants seem happy and health.
Well the NL auto is having issues with brown spots and yellowing on leaves. Pretty much everywhere. I flushed with 2 gallons of lower ph water then have been giving 6.0 ph to see if that helps. I thing the cal-mag and MaxiBloom caused a lower ph nute issue.
Harvested a little early. But about 70% milky and some clear and dark. I have it drying now. About 50% humidity but it goes up and down. 181 grams from 3 plants in my 4X4 with a TSW2000. I didn't expect to get that much on my first try. This sour joker x sour ghost is the real deal. It's not hell's OG unreal but it's a nice smoke and gets me rocked.
Ok, so everything has curing for a bit. Both smoke really well when they are smoked at about 55-61 % humidity. That Northern Lights Auto after I put it in the grinder has this crazy citrus, diesel, fruity smell. It' really light / delicate smell but it's wild. The high is great and the more high you get that euphoria, I'm looking at the stars and understanding my vastness type of high. You will not be disappointed. Just don't expect a Hell's OG experience.
So I recalibrated my PH monitors because *surprise* they were off by about 1 PH. That's probably why I'm having the PH issue with the NL. I fixed it and started diluting 50/50 mix with my MaxiBloom and water just to keep them fed and I up'd the water from 1 liter per feeding to 2 liters. They seem big enough to take it though the NL Auto may be fed less frequently they are nearing harvest, I think. I am also considering that MaxiBloom has calcium and magnesium so I dropped the cal-mag as I thought I might be giving too much. None of them seem to be suffering from overwatering at all.
I was wondering why the Northern Lights Auto was not as frosty as the others. I realized that I'm running it on the same 12/12 schedule as my photoperiods so I guess that's why it's not as developed?
I'm really curious if this Mammoth P stuff is working along with the maxibloom. I should have done one of these plants with water only and see what happens. This Sensi Soil is a hot soil so I don't want to overdo it! ;)
Did LST to big one. 4 nodes going on 5 so I started bending it around 2 days ago. I did more work on it today and got a position I feel is better for the plant growth. Plust I transplanted the normal_plant_3G to a 5 gallon so it's suffering a little.
So I transplanted the one in the small plastic pot to a 5-gallon cloth pot. 25% happy frog and 75% Sensi soil. I think I hurt some roots but I hope it recovers. I watered it heavily 2 days ago so water ran out the bottom. I have the plants between 18 - 20 inches at 75% on the TSW 2000. They are not suffering at all and the upward stretching stopped and leaves are growing daily.
Been gradually increasing light intensity at around 20 inches from plants. Now at 40K lux at around 100%. Will be interesting to see if this stresses the plants at all.
started to add some maxi-gro and cal-mag at 50% dilution with regular tap water just to see if that boosts anything (or hurts). still steady growth but pretty thin stems compared to my tomatoes which are going crazy
